Chapter 629: 629 Fairy Tail: Journey on the Beach, Juvia's Change, Magical Exhaustion and The Calm Before Hell.

Akane Resort was quite a peculiar place. Despite being part of a world that mixes elements of fantasy and medieval times such as horse-drawn carriages as common transportation, it had some very unusual features—like a huge water slide worthy of a modern water park that people actually used.

There was a luxurious hotel with rooms rivaling the most modern hotels, but the most striking thing was the casino. This place, supposedly without internet or TV, had found a way to create gambling machines powered by magic.

After checking into the hotel and heading toward the beach, Allen wondered how such a place could exist when there were cities that looked like they were straight out of the Middle Ages.

"I don't understand..." Allen squinted. The strange way medieval past and the modern world blended everywhere always surprised him.

Wednesday – Personally, I kind of like having a world where you have modern bathrooms and at the same time can enjoy a morning beheading...

Esdeath – Well, from my point of view, it reminds me of my world—just with fewer giant monsters and more magic...

Harley – Leaving that aside, can we go out?!

"Of course," Allen smiled sincerely. He could summon three girls without being affected; if he summoned four, his magical power would start to diminish, and after a few hours, Allen would be exhausted. With five girls, his combat ability would drop further—and that's assuming they didn't use their powers. Otherwise, Allen could only keep three dolls summoned at most.

Allen smiled. Even knowing that, he wouldn't deny the girls a day of fun. Especially now that, because of Lucifer, the time they spent together had been drastically reduced. But first, he had to wait and warn the other girls—otherwise, they'd have a heart attack when they saw the dolls.

Allen crossed his arms while waiting. Then he saw a boy fall in front of him, helped by a girl who might have been his younger sister. Once they left, his attention turned to the rest of the beach—kids, boys, girls, women, and men laughing and having fun.

"This world is... deceitful"

Makima – In what way?

"I mean the whole atmosphere. On one hand, it feels like a peaceful world... but my stay here has been anything but peaceful."

Albedo – Isn't that because Allen-sama always ends up in the worst situations?

At first, this world seemed peaceful, setting aside the incident in Hargeon. Yet, he had jumped from enemy to enemy practically nonstop.

"Maybe, but doesn't that world have too many assholes?!"

[Well, that's natural—Fairy Tail has lots of mages, so to make things difficult there are plenty of enemies...]

'You just admitted Fairy Tail is the protagonist...'

[No, that's your deduction. My restrictions only prevent me from talking about hints of the world's story, important people, and events, but if it's something you've figured out, then those restrictions don't apply...]

"I see... so Fairy Tail... no surprise there." Allen closed his eyes, feeling the sea breeze. Maybe it wasn't so bad to take a day or two to just enjoy himself. An important detail: Lucifer wasn't trying to destroy this world; his opponent was Allen and only Allen. So the particles of his power scattered around wouldn't activate unless Allen was nearby or on a mission line involving them.

How did Allen know this? From past experience. Neither Deliora nor Jose had access to that power until they faced Allen. And the Spirit King said the particles remained dormant until Allen set foot in the Spirit Realm. So at least Allen didn't have to worry about the particles causing the end of the world on some other continent without him noticing.

....

....

"Did we keep you waiting?~"

Lucy's voice came from behind. Allen turned to find several beautiful girls in bikinis that could steal anyone's breath away.

"..."

"Oh?~ Did Mr. Walker see something he liked?~" Lucy smiled, leaning forward in a white two-piece bikini with flowers, her hair tied into two ponytails

"Lucy, you look good in anything, but right now, more than a pretty girl, I'd say you're a beautiful woman." Allen chuckled.

"Thank you..." Lucy looked away, blushing, feeling her efforts had paid off.

"Allen-sama!" Juvia approached, clasping her hands hopefully for praise. She wore a blue two-piece bikini, but Allen was surprised by her new hairstyle. Juvia usually curled her hair tips, but now she let it loose, deciding to improve her appearance if she wanted to beat her rivals.

"It's hard to notice with the clothes you usually wear, but you don't have anything to envy from Lucy or Erza. And you're prettier when you smile." Allen smiled and gently touched Juvia's hair. "That new haircut makes you even more beautiful..."

"Ah❤️~" Juvia struck a dramatic pose, as if her soul had left her body.

"Allen... how do I look? Heh." Erza stepped forward with crossed arms, proud of what she had. No one who knew Erza would say she wasn't beautiful. It's just that her personality tends to scare most. However, right now, without armor and wearing a black bikini while tying her hair in a ponytail, she looked like a stunning beauty.

"Honestly, I was worried you'd never realize how beautiful you are. I often felt like you could strip in front of everyone without being conscious of your actions." Allen approached Erza calmly and grabbed her hair. "I won't force you, but I'd like you to be more careful. Beauty loses its value when shared carelessly.... No, I'm not being honest, I would just like to monopolize you"

Unable to keep her composure, Erza turned bright red before grabbing Allen by the collar and shaking him."Y-you! I've wanted to say that for a long time, but you have no delicacy! How can you say such things so openly?!"

Erza, who could lose her mind just hearing someone had a partner, seeing a wedding dress, or finding Lucy's lingerie, simply had no defenses to endure even the slightest flirt from Allen. The only thing the redhead could be thankful for was that Allen hadn't deactivated the spell; otherwise, she would have fainted.

"Ara Ara~ Erza is so weak when attacked, it doesn't intimidate her much, Allen-kun~" Mira laughed, covering her mouth while squinting her eyes. She was wearing a white bikini, and as expected of a model of her caliber, she was a beauty from head to toe.

"I feel like many guild members must be cursing me for kidnapping beautiful Mirajane."

"Ara, thank you very much~ But Allen-kun, aren't you going to take off your sweatshirt?" Mira smiled, her eyes turning into crescent moons. "I understand that someone like you doesn't feel heat, but... hehe."

Allen wore black swim shorts and his gray hoodie, which had become his faithful companion in this world. He couldn't deny that it was weird to wear that on the beach.

"Maybe..." Allen shrugged, starting to take it off. The girls lost their breath. Although the spell prevented him from drawing attention and it didn't change his body, his perfectly defined and strengthened muscles—the result of many fighting styles and countless battles—were the pinnacle of strength and a male body polished to the limit.

Allen approached Mirajane, who had gotten nervous, unsure where to look. Once close enough to hear her breathing, he whispered:

"Mirajane, you look very pretty today. Thanks for coming, even though it must not have been an easy decision..."

Mira trembled, her body weakening. Allen caught her by the waist when he felt she was about to fall.

"I used to doubt it, but now I know—you're way too used to women..." Mira tried to frown, but overwhelmed by his masculine scent, her head started spinning.

Juvia, Lucy, and Erza couldn't even get angry; they were too busy blushing just like Mirajane. It was a sad truth, but this world was a shonen—romance had no place here, so even Loke had the chance to be a womanizer, whereas in other worlds, he would get slapped for acting like that. But Allen was different—he'd been hardened in a thousand battles.

"Wait, Allen, everyone's watching!~" Mirajane said breathlessly, putting her hands on Allen's chest trying to push him away, but her will was so weak it seemed like she was leaning on him.

Allen gave the crowd a cold look, and they quickly dispersed.

Mirajane begged, "Allen..."

"I guess it can't be helped~" Allen laughed and let Mirajane go before she fainted. Then he looked at the four girls who sighed.

"So..." Allen smiled, "How about we just spend a day at the beach?"

"Yes!"

"But first, I'd like to introduce you to some people..."

The girls looked confused at first, but Allen smiled and pulled the portal keys from his pocket.

Lucy's eyes widened. "No way!"

Allen was about to spend a large portion of his magic, but instead of worrying, a smile spread across his face.

"Open!"

....

Lucy took Allen's hand and led him toward the sea, intending to swim. Allen, in turn, pulled along a scared Bocchi who didn't want to go into the water. She was wearing a pink bikini that highlighted her big breasts, but unfortunately, no one would see it—because she had a long shirt on over it. Normally, Allen wouldn't force Bocchi to do anything, but this time he didn't let her stay behind and, along with Lucy, they entered the sea.

Although at first Bocchi was terrified, when Allen held her in his arms, she relaxed. However, Lucy, being jealous, demanded the same.

(Half an hour later)

Erza was building a sandcastle with Nokotan, the deer girl wearing the legendary school swimsuit.

Allen arrived later and helped them, but things got out of control as the castle kept growing until it almost looked real. It was so impressive that Allen had to use earth magic to dismantle it because people started getting scared.

Esdeath insisted Allen put sunscreen on her back. Mirajane, standing next to her, blushed when she saw Esdeath unfasten the top part of her sky-blue bikini—of course, she was lying face down, but with a clear provocative look toward Allen. Mirajane couldn't believe such a daring spirit existed. She even suspected there might be some relationship between Allen and Esdeath that went beyond master and servant.

In the end, somehow Mirajane ended up lying down so Allen could apply sunscreen on her back. Afterward, she covered her face with a towel, refusing to look at Allen out of embarrassment.

Shortly after, 2B and Juvia did the same with Allen. But Juvia couldn't resist touching Allen's body and ended up fainting, which made Rebecca laugh on the ground.

Time passed and they played a beach volleyball match: Erza, Lucy, and Juvia versus Albedo, Artoria (Saber), and Jalter. Needless to say, only Erza was able to keep up the pace, which meant a crushing defeat for her team.

Lucy ended up scared in Allen's arms because she had seen meteors crashing from one side to the other and couldn't understand why a volleyball game ended like that.

Harley took advantage and also sneaked into Allen's arms, which made Lucy feel strange. All of Allen's spirits were beautiful women, some younger than others—but wasn't that weird? Besides, aren't these girls very affectionate with him?

....

After the beach, everyone went to the water park with pools and slides. The group of girls attracted a lot of attention, but just a cold look from Esdeath, Albedo, or Makima was enough to make any man who tried to approach flee as if they'd seen the devil.

On the slide, Allen hugged Rebecca so they could slide together. Jealous, Juvia clung to his back and slid down with him too.

A little later, Allen bought ice cream for everyone, although some girls preferred cocktails or cold drinks. While this was happening, a couple of guys approached Mirajane, who seemed harmless compared to the other girls. It didn't help that Nokotan and Bocchi clung to her, projecting a big-sister aura.

Allen appeared just as they tried to convince Mirajane. Instantly, both their faces turned blue as if death was staring at them. Allen teleported them into the middle of the sea, but after Mirajane scolded him cutely, he teleported them back.

2B apologized for not paying more attention. In the end, she pulled out a whip like Virgo's, as if she expected to be punished. Allen smiled ironically, realizing Virgo's influence had planted some strange ideas in 2B.

Later, they went to a luxurious restaurant where Allen rented an entire floor for them. With the rewards he had earned from previous missions, he could afford such a luxury.

Kurumi, who had shown the least interest in mingling with the group, sat in a corner drinking a cappuccino alone. Allen noticed and went to her. The girl teased him, saying, "That you don't have enough women, womanizer?" Remembering that even though the dolls were taking turns, there were at least five dolls with him at all times.

Allen ignored Kurumi's comments and spent some time with her. Seeing she couldn't get rid of him, the girl used her foot under the table to tease Allen, but that only made him catch it and return the favor with a massage that made her unintentionally moan and then flee embarrassed.

....

The day calmed down slowly, and the dolls returned to the "Outer Spiritual World or Walker World" as they called the place created for them when they came to this world. Though it was obvious they didn't want to leave, they noticed Allen had consumed a lot of magical power to keep them summoned all day. Before leaving, they said goodbye to Lucy, Juvia, Mirajane, and Erza.

The four Fairy Tail girls wore sad expressions, as they had become friends during this time.

In general, the girls got along well with all the dolls, but there were some with whom they got along better—like Erza's with Artoria. The redhead felt like she had met a worthy mentor and even asked her to train her someday.

Lucy hugged Bocchi, refusing to let go of the adorable girl who was too shy and fragile for the world. Meanwhile, Juvia bowed to Wednesday, bidding her a classy farewell. It seemed that Wednesday's elegant and gloomy personality, with the touch of a maiden in love, was enough for Juvia to feel she had found a lost sister.

Finally, Nokotan clung to Mirajane, refusing to leave the kind big sister who had given her handmade deer cookies. Even Allen didn't know where those cookies came from, but he suspected Mirajane had sneaked into the hotel kitchen to make them.

Once they said their goodbyes, a quiet fell over the group. When they noticed Allen's exhaustion, they felt guilty for not realizing the burden of having so many spirits summoned. On the contrary, it was terrifying just to think about what Allen had done—elite mages had died trying to summon more than one.

"I'm sorry, we didn't realize!"

Lucy approached Allen and wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.

"Juvia's sorry!"

Juvia even cried when she saw this and clung to Allen.

"Is Allen okay?!"

Erza worried so much she dressed as a nurse and held a first-aid kit in her hand, ready to take Allen to the hospital.

Mirajane placed her hand on her chest, concerned. "Allen, we should end the day and go rest."

"Don't worry, I'm just a little tired; it's nothing serious." Allen petted Lucy's and Juvia's heads as they clung to him. "Also, I want to thank you girls. As you know, before coming here, I was defeated by a very strong opponent, but not just me—they were too, and even got hurt. Even though they try to hide it, I know these girls train to the limit every day for me... so, I just wanted to give them a day to rest and relax."

Lucy and Juvia started crying. Mirajane wiped away a tear, and Erza smiled warmly.

"Although it's true, I do need some rest..."

Hearing that, the four girls exchanged looks.

"Juvia should take care of Allen-sama..."

"Ara Ara~ shouldn't I be the one with the most experience caring for him?"

"No, I have more experience as a celestial spirit mage. I should take care of him."

"I don't see anyone else dressed as a nurse, so I'll do it..."

"..." Allen watched this unfold speechless.

Setting aside the fact that the friendship they had built had vanished without a trace, the fact that Allen was simply tired, but they treated it like he needed to be hospitalized, left him dumbfounded.

The four faced off before clenching their fists and playing rock-paper-scissors to decide who would take care of Allen.

....

....

Allen lay down on a bed while Erza sat next to him holding his hand.

"Stay strong, Allen..." Erza said, voice cracking.

"Are you seriously going to keep doing that?" Allen felt like banging his head. These girls were overreacting. "Erza, I'm not that tired..."

"No!"

Noticing Allen trying to get up, Erza leaned over him to stop him, which made nurse Erza stay on top of Allen.

"Erza..."

"You c-can't leave..." Erza, red-faced and eyes spinning from her position and tight nurse outfit with a miniskirt, felt extremely embarrassed, but at the same time, there was a certain emotion in her gaze. She leaned over Allen, getting closer.

Allen was never known to be a vegetarian, so he didn't stop her. He reached out and caressed the girl's soft cheek, and soon they were kissing on the bed.

....

(?????)

"Erza, there is no freedom in this world... and soon you will understand. You never escaped me; no matter where you went, you were always in the palm of my hand, and no one could change that..."
