I Created Scientific Magic

Chapter 669: A 50-Year Development Plan and a Counter-Attack on the Main World

The Tower of Arcane Magic stood high above the capital city of the Magic Kingdom, reaching a magnificent height of three hundred and thirty-nine meters. It was a miraculous achievement completed within thirty days through the combined magical prowess of four legendary Wizards.

The interior had been transformed by Force Field Magic, the space inside was many times larger than it appeared to be from the outside—up to ten times bigger. The number of Wizards who had come to participate in the conference this time had reached an astonishing one hundred and fifty thousand, making it the grandest academic gathering to date!

However, this number was not representative of the entire official Wizard membership of the council; in fact, that figure had surpassed seven million!

If you had asked Rafael decades ago, he would not even dare to dream of such numbers. Yet, with the collective efforts of a widely spread Arcane Network and educational accessibility, this had become a reality!

Among those qualified to attend the conference, apart from the great Wizards and the legendaries, were the elite of the official Wizards.

A hundred and fifty thousand Wizards gathered together on a massive step-like amphitheater erected through magic. The farthest point from the center of the conference was two kilometers away, and it was only possible to make out what was happening there with the aid of long-distance viewing magic and amplification magic.

The whole scene of the conference was in a messy uproar. Rafael had no choice but to emphasize order time and time again to no avail—only by completely draining all the air from the Tower of Arcane Magic did he finally manage to silence everyone.

Following this, Rafael unfurled his dominion, dividing the vast conference site into tens of thousands of regions, where only the areas he permitted could project sound.

After resolving the chaotic noise, Rafael took out the list of applicants and, according to the sequence of numbers on it, invited each school to come up on stage to present their research achievements.

The first to take the stage was the legendary Wizard Boulder, who had made significant contributions to the study of Force Field and Dimension Magic. His proposal involved optimizations and improvements to the Space-Time Gate technology.

The importance of Space-Time Gates goes without saying, especially for traveling vast interstellar distances. Even traveling at several times the speed of light, it could take dozens to hundreds of years to reach the destination, making Space-Time Gates the only choice.

The difficulty of executing such powerful Dimension Magic was immense, almost exclusively within the purview of deities. However, after studying the method of creating wormholes by the geometric civilization, Boulder found an optimization plan. After discussing with a group of Alchemy Masters for several months, they were able to develop an Array that penetrated through four dimensions.

All that was needed were six legendary Wizards proficient in Force Field Magic casting their spells at the two respective transmission points to create a Space-Time Gate.

With this advancement, there would be no need to bother Lynn and others to construct Space-Time Gates henceforth.

This discovery was unquestionably groundbreaking, signifying the potential for the widespread use of space-time transportation. The council could employ it for interstellar travel or even conceivably build an abundance of Space-Time Gates within planets to minimize transportation and transit time.

However, numerous issues required consideration.

For example, whether constructing numerous teleportation gates within a planet would disrupt the space-time continuum or affect the planet's gravity itself, these aspects demanded further exploration and research.

After deliberation by a dozen judges, this achievement earned a nomination for the Corona Medal!

Boulder was indescribably thrilled—as time had passed, the Corona Medal had become less rare, but it was still regarded as the highest honor in the entire magic community.

Besides, every legendary aspired for swift promotion to a Star God, which required accumulating significant achievements to stand at the forefront among all contenders.

The issuance of the Corona Medal also excited those Wizards yearning for fame and prestige. With various school Wizards presenting on stage, seventeen Silver Moon Medals and over fifty Star Medals were quickly awarded.

Johnny and his peers were among them, earning a nomination for a Silver Moon Medal thanks to their improved energy defense device.

The rapid development of such numerous achievements by the council's Wizards could be attributed to their recent access to a vast amount of fundamental scientific knowledge from the geometric civilization. This knowledge bridged their exploratory gaps, coupled with the explosive increase in Wizard numbers, leading the council to a second surge of technological advancements, far more comprehensive than before.

For instance, the simple communication devices invented in recent years had sparked a buying frenzy in the kingdom, yet barely two years later, they were already on the verge of obsolescence.

This was because Anthony had tremendously reduced the complexity of casting Projection Magic. By harnessing the power of the Arcane Network, even a Wizard Apprentice could converse face-to-face with colleagues millions of miles away.

Such convenience naturally diminished the Wizards' interest in purchasing mere communication devices. Now only some civilians made use of them.

After nearly a month, the magic research conference finally came to an official close. However, before the Wizards, still not quite satiated with the proceedings, could depart, Rafael announced another major piece of news.

Henceforth, the entire world of the Eternal Star, no, the entire star system would enter a state of war!

On hearing this, a commotion arose among the Wizards present.

"Chairman Rafael, are we going to war again? Who is the enemy this time?" a great Wizard urgently rose from his seat to ask.

The veteran Wizards were not surprised; ever since they had ventured out from Wizard Land, the wars had never ceased. It's only that in recent times, they had formed an alliance with the geometric civilization, thus enjoying a prolonged period of peace.

"This time, our adversaries are the gods of the main world!" Rafael stated bluntly.

This response did not surprise the crowd either, as the council had already clashed with the gods of the main world several times.

Whether it was Moon Goddess Diana, who brought magic power to this world, the Lord of Undeath who crossed over from another realm, or the arrival of six other gods—all invariably came with the intention of invading this world.

In comparison to the geometric civilization, with whom a temporary cooperation had been established, the threat from the main world was unequivocally more lethal.

"In fact, just before the commencement of this conference, Lynn, Harrov, Vittorio, and Chairman Aurora collaborated to move our entire star domain into the Sea of Quanta," Rafael proclaimed another bombshell revelation, information previously known only to the legendary Wizards. There was no longer a need for secrecy.

Once the Wizards present had assimilated this news, Rafael spoke once more with grave formality.

"Our current temporal flow is about one-tenth of that in the vast universe. According to Chairman Lynn, we have approximately fifty years to prepare!"

"We must build an immense interstellar fleet within this star domain, master all the technology sent by the geometric civilization, harness every available force, and then... launch a counterattack on the main world!"
