I Am Raditz

The red flames engulfing Raditz's body erupted as his speed accelerated once again. Cold light and crimson flames intersected around him, flashing and jumping through the air. Initially, he had been reluctant to push beyond five times Kaio-Ken, as his opponent still had too many unknowns—it would be foolish to drain his physical strength too hastily.

But while Boundless possessed eternal energy, Raditz could tell the machine's physical form was constantly being consumed. In this case, it was better to go all out.

Raditz charged forward at full speed, rapidly approaching Boundless. Just as he rushed in front, a red light flashed—and suddenly he was behind his opponent! Boundless froze in shock, but before he could react, a tremendous force had already crashed down heavily onto his back.

Reeling from the powerful impact, Boundless dropped to one knee and spoke: "Your strength has improved again. Is this what you mentioned earlier—something that cannot be calculated?"

"That's right!"

Raditz shouted, wasting no time as he brought his feet together and stomped down again! He drove Boundless's head straight into the metal floor, smashing a deep crater into the hard surface. Boundless's nasal structure shattered, blood spattering across his face, one eye punctured from the impact.

Humiliated, Boundless leapt up and distanced himself from Raditz.

"Seven times!"

Raditz launched forward, his fists moving in a blur as he continuously changed his angle of attack. He pummeled Boundless's body relentlessly, causing the creature to stagger backward until finally collapsing.

"Huff... huff..." Raditz was short of breath—this fight wasn't easy. What had fallen was merely a puppet body; Boundless's true form remained safely preserved in the circular container nearby. Capture the king rather than the pawn—Raditz focused on the main body.

He launched a punch toward the sphere, but the fallen humanoid form suddenly stood up and blocked it. Simultaneously, another metal dragon emerged from the ground and wrapped protectively around the main body.

Boundless's humanoid body had been beaten to pieces and was bleeding profusely, yet it moved as fluidly as before. After Raditz's punch blasted a hole through its abdomen, it still held firm without retreating a single step.

It truly wasn't easy to destroy. Raditz quickly jumped back to create some distance.

"Subject No. 1 is defeated. Experiment successful!"

Successful? What did that mean? Raditz suddenly felt an ominous premonition, his eyes filling with caution. The surrounding tentacles began moving again, stretching out from all directions. The flesh and blood of Experimental Body No. 1 started to dissolve, replaced by flowing liquid metal that reformed into a different shape.

"Is this your true form?"

"Flesh and blood is too fragile. I don't need it anymore," Boundless said. "Besides, I've already found the most suitable test subject."

As those words fell, countless tentacles attacked in unison, like ten thousand flying serpents rushing toward Raditz. Simultaneously, the No. 1 Boundless charged forward, its arm transforming into a scimitar for a surprise attack.

"Haaaaah!" Raditz spread his hands wide and roared. Red energy formed a sphere between his palms before he thrust it outward violently, incinerating countless tentacles in an instant. The high-temperature aftermath scorched many panels on the surrounding iron walls.

Facing Boundless's blade, Raditz shifted his body slightly, evading the frontal attack. He parried the mechanical arm and smashed his elbow into his opponent's face.

The powerful blow sent Boundless flying backward, his feet skidding across the floor.

Raditz followed up immediately with a knife-hand strike, the red energy around his hand razor-sharp as it sliced through Boundless's body! Left with no choice, the entity dissolved into a puddle of liquid, preparing to reassemble itself.

"I was waiting for this! You can't use your energy-absorbing shield while liquefied!"

"You..."

Boundless hadn't expected this weakness to be discovered, and now had no defense in this liquid state! Raditz had already gathered a ball of white light in his hand, ready to unleash it!

"Crack!" "Crack!" "Crack!"

The moment he was about to fire, multiple replicants swarmed up behind him, locking his joints and body in place.

They had obviously planned this all along, taking advantage of Raditz's momentary belief that victory was within reach. Without breath or energy signatures, they couldn't be detected directly, and they easily achieved their goal.

The reassembled Boundless threw him down, transformed into liquid, and latched onto him.

The other clones activated their energy-absorbing shields and began draining his power! Within moments, Raditz lost his Kaio-Ken state, his arm dropping weakly...

"Experiment No. 0 is ready!"

The voice penetrated his mind, and Raditz suddenly understood. He was designated as Subject Zero, ranked even higher than the No. 1 experimental body. Boundless had merely used No. 1 to test his abilities, which explained why the "experiment was successful."

The defeat of No. 1 was actually good news for Boundless—it meant a more suitable test subject had been found.

"Human body transformation begins. Chip implantation initiated."

Hundreds of tentacles lifted Raditz into the air as liquid metal slowly crept into his brain. A small chip inside the metal drilled into his ear, sending electrical currents throughout his body. His consciousness gradually blurred...

The chip encroached on Raditz's consciousness bit by bit, poised to replace it entirely the moment the transformation completed.

"Wait, did I give you permission to enter?" Suddenly, a voice echoed within Raditz's consciousness, halting the chip's progress.

His soul—originating from time travel—existed beyond the boundaries of conventional reality. Though Boundless's transformation technology was powerful, it could only transform Raditz's original consciousness, not the soul he possessed now!

"Why are you still conscious? I've clearly cleared all—"

"Shut up! Get out!" Raditz's mental strength surged in counterattack, overwhelmingly regaining control of his body and rushing toward the chip like a tidal wave.

His mighty mental power flooded the chip like an ocean, not only reclaiming himself but beginning to invade Boundless's will!

Raditz's soul energy proved extraordinarily powerful, directly penetrating the inner core without resistance.

"You've invaded my interior? Impossible! My defense system is impeccable."

"Don't be stupid. I came in through you—you invited me!" Raditz said. "If you try to occupy someone else's body, don't you think you risk being occupied in return? Moreover, I've found the way to destroy you!"

"No, no, no."

Boundless wasn't panicking, but its vulnerability was becoming apparent. The moment it had evolved its mind marked not only progress but also paved the way for its potential destruction.

Raditz roared, his mental power coursing through the chip's complex structure like electricity, passing through countless streams of information and data...

Outside, the circular building began to collapse. All the replicants melted into formless liquid, losing their ability to transform. The metal dragons shattered into debris. The sphere containing the main body faded away as countless cables were exposed to the air, crackling with "zzzt" sparks.
