"I'll be there as soon as I can."

Jaxon wanted to teleport over, but Pepper was driving, and he had no way of locating her.

Otherwise, he would have relied on his speed.

Jaxon's current speed could reach three times the speed of sound, but he couldn't fly.

Running at such speeds on the ground would be too dangerous—one misstep and he'd become a human locomotive.

He had to try something else. He put on his symbiote suit and decided to swing over like Spider-Man.

"Peter, I need to leave for a while. Tell the teacher I'm not feeling well and might be back late."

Without another word, Jaxon left the classroom, found a secluded spot, and teleported to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Afterward, he transformed into his symbiote form and headed toward Manhattan.

"Obadiah, if you dare to touch my woman, you're going to regret it!"

Obadiah didn't need to act personally. He had more important things to handle.

He had gone to Area 16 to check the progress on the Iron Man Armor but realized they couldn't build the Arc Reactor.

Frustrated, Obadiah set his sights on Tony.

He couldn't make a reactor himself, but Tony had one ready-made.

Why not take it for free?

With his plan in mind, Obadiah drove to Tony's villa to execute his scheme.

Jaxon finally arrived at the scene and saw the chaos in front of him.

Three cars had turned into road terrors, causing mayhem on the streets.

Pepper's vehicle was heavily damaged from repeated collisions and was starting to deform.

"Ah!"

Pepper was terrified but kept dodging to avoid having her car overturned.

Yet another hit came, and this time her vehicle lost control, about to flip over.

Jaxon's eyes grew cold as he rushed forward.

With one hand, he effortlessly lifted Pepper's car.

Pepper let out a sigh of relief upon seeing him.

However, one of the cars spotted Jaxon and, inexplicably, hit the accelerator to ram into him.

"Trying to crash into me? Are you serious?"

Jaxon kicked the car, and it was as if it had collided with a concrete wall. The entire vehicle compressed as if being crushed in a machine, shrinking to half its original size.

He parked Pepper's vehicle safely but didn't rescue her immediately. Instead, he dealt with the remaining threat.

There were two cars left, and they couldn't escape.

Two wind blades flew out from Jaxon, precisely cutting the vehicles in half without harming any bystanders.

The criminals inside the cars were stunned. Was this guy even human?

Panicked, they pulled out pistols and emptied their magazines at him.

Jaxon didn't flinch, effortlessly blocking all the bullets.

A few stray bullets were also caught by Jaxon's symbiote suit as if it were alive.

"What kind of monster is this?"

"Don't come near us!"

"Help!"

Jaxon wasn't about to let them go. His symbiote suit turned into tendrils of spider silk, grabbing the two men and pulling them back with ease.

Glaring at them, Jaxon muttered to himself, regretting he didn't have Ghost Rider's Penance Stare, "Look into my eyes" would've been fitting.

"Who sent you?"

Both men, hardened criminals, refused to talk despite their fear.

"We don't know anything."

"Think we're afraid of you, you freak?"

Seeing that he wasn't going to get answers, Jaxon lost interest in further questioning. It had to be Obadiah's doing. He'd deal with him soon enough.

"Remember my name: Black Spiderman!"

"If I catch you causing trouble again, I'll make sure you regret it."

With that, Jaxon controlled the two thugs and then rescued Pepper.

"It's okay now. Someone will be here soon to take care of the rest. I have to go."

Pepper didn't reveal Jaxon's identity, watching as he suddenly disappeared. He had teleported away.

Jaxon returned to school, feigning a stomachache as an excuse for being late.

Luckily, the teacher didn't ask too many questions, allowing him to return to class.

Meanwhile, Pepper waited for Coulson to arrive, along with George Stacy.

George initially wanted to take the thugs into custody, but Coulson overruled him.The thugs even told then his name but it was different then what Jaxon told them say.

"Spider-Bully? What a strange name."

After Coulson and his team left, George was left to handle the aftermath.

The appearance of Black Spiderman quickly became a topic of discussion.

In this age of smartphones, Jaxon's actions had been recorded and spread across the internet.

"Oh my god, did you see that? He actually lifted a car! Is that even possible?"

"His suit can change. That's freaky."

"Totally a superhero move."

"Why call himself Spider-Bully? I think he's a hero, Black Spiderman suits him."

"And how did he just vanish like that?"

Online reactions varied. Some were amazed, while others were skeptical.

There were always people who doubted.

"This can't be real. The video's obviously fake."

"Fake news! Total fake news!"

"I bet it's magic."

"Must be special effects. As a ten-year sci-fi fan, I gotta say, these effects are mediocre."

"It's probably just some comic book promotion."

At school, Jaxon didn't care about the online chatter. When class ended, he immediately contacted Pepper.

"Pepper, are you okay now?"

"I'm fine." She replied, "Coulson and his team got the evidence. We're heading to Stark Tower to arrest Obadiah."

"???"

Jaxon was confused. Why go to Stark Tower now?

No wonder in the movie, it took all day for Tony and Obadiah to face off after the evidence was gathered in the morning.

Did Coulson and the gang stop for coffee for hours?

Or was District 16 just that far away?

But Obadiah had clearly gone to Tony's place and then returned to District 16. It didn't make sense.

"You think he's at Stark Tower now?"

"We don't know where he is. We're checking places one at a time: first the building, then his home."

Jaxon understood, "I think you should go to District 16 first. Obadiah might get desperate and fight back with the armor he has built."

Pepper followed his advice, and sure enough, Obadiah wasn't in the company anymore.

"Obadiah isn't here. We're heading to District 16 now."

A thought struck Jaxon, "Pepper, did you inform Tony about Obadiah?"

Pepper was caught off guard, "I was attacked earlier, and then I've been with Coulson. I completely forgot."

Jaxon hurriedly said, "If Obadiah can't build the Arc Reactor, he's going to steal Tony's."

Pepper was visibly worried. Despite her growing feelings for Jaxon, she had been with Tony for years. He was like a brother to her.

"What? Should I remind him now? Or call Rhodes to check on him?"

"Don't worry about it. I'll go. I'm faster."

"I'll leave it to you then."

"Stay safe, Pepper."

"I will."

Jaxon calculated the situation. If his guess was correct, Obadiah had already stolen Tony's reactor.

Sure enough, Obadiah had taken the Arc Reactor, leaving Tony temporarily paralyzed.

Several minutes had passed, and Tony was starting to regain mobility, but without the reactor, his life was still in danger.

He struggled to reach the basement to replace the reactor.

However, as he arrived, Jaxon teleported in front of him.

"Oh, great Tony Stark. Looks like you need my help."

Tony felt a wave of relief upon seeing Jaxon.

"I'll forgive you for showing up unannounced this time."

"Just forgiveness? Where's my thanks?"

Jaxon quickly replaced Tony's reactor.

Feeling better, Tony smiled, "Thanks, Jaxon."

"Obadiah is in District 16. He has his own suit. Put on your armor and take him down. This is your fight."

"And make sure Pepper stays safe."

Tony's confidence surged, "JARVIS, suit me up."

"You're right. This is my fight."

Jaxon trusted Tony would handle it. After all, he still had school to get back to.
