Chapter 664: IMUC Chapter 657 Back to Wakanda

A month had passed.

Since the super-powered competition in Carl's Kingdom, the buzz surrounding the event had begun to settle. Yet, the extraordinary nature of the competition had set in motion changes that were just starting to unfold across the globe.

First and foremost, the public's understanding of superheroes and super-powered individuals had deepened significantly. On major online platforms, bloggers and researchers began to analyze and quantify the abilities of the competition participants, creating a detailed and evidence-based power ranking list.

Naturally, the top spot on this list was claimed by Earth's ruler, Kyle. The late Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One, held the second position, with no changes anticipated. However, from the third rank onward, the rankings sparked debate and uncertainty.

Some argued that Scarlet Witch deserved the third spot, while others contended that Raina, Vision, and Hellfire were equally deserving. There were even voices claiming that Iron Man's sixth place was far too low.

News media and entertainment magazines engaged in daily debates over these rankings, and for a time, no one could sway anyone else's opinion.

In the wake of the super-powered competition, superheroes and super-powered individuals had gained immense popularity, drawing more attention than even the biggest celebrities.

Some major countries had eased their restrictions on superheroes, no longer enforcing rules as strictly as before. Meanwhile, they were secretly ramping up their technological advancements, exploring ways to evolve and harness power.

If the super-powered competition had changed anything, it was that it allowed superheroes and super-powered individuals to step into the light. It wasn't just the major countries keeping an eye on them; the general public was beginning to accept and recognize their existence.

However, super-powered individuals were not above the law. After the competition, everyone became aware of the strong foundation of Carl's Kingdom. The man who sat high upon the throne, gazing down at the planet like a god, held jurisdiction over all things unnatural.

The title of Earth's ruler was now recognized by nations and people worldwide, following America's Symbol of Peace.

During this month,

Kyle had remained in Carl's Kingdom, yet discussions about him continued to dominate the front pages of the news every day.

Meanwhile, Captain America and Winter Soldier, perhaps wary of the impact of false rumors, had temporarily stepped away from the Avengers. Their whereabouts were unknown.

Iron Man continued to lead the Avengers but rarely teamed up with Black Widow and the others. Instead, he had increased his collaboration with Pym Technologies and was privately training a high school student in Queens, New York, all while preparing for a grand wedding with Pepper.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver had temporarily left the Avengers and returned to Carl's Kingdom.

Doctor Strange had officially taken on the mantle of the Ancient One's successor, assuming responsibility for the Sorcerer as Earth's guardian at the New York Sanctum.

Superman Caesar and Hulk Banner were still missing, and Thor hadn't set foot on Earth for quite some time...

Things on Earth had settled into a temporary calm, but no one could tell if this was merely the calm before the storm.

Wakanda, Africa, Royal Palace Hall

T'Challa, the newly crowned king of Wakanda, sat on the throne, entertaining two guests. Suddenly, the Vibranium hall trembled, as if something beneath the palace had been activated.

Outside the hall,

Captain Okoye, gripping a Vibranium spear, stood with several other female guards. Their expressions were cautious as they watched two figures emerge from the palace's underground chamber.

One was a young, handsome silver-haired man, and the other was a strangely bald man. Though both were dressed in ordinary casual clothes, the pressure they exuded was enough to make Okoye, the strongest of the guards, feel a shift in her stance.

These two were more intimidating than any beast or wild animal outside.

But as Wakanda's strongest and sharpest spear, Okoye summoned all her strength to swing her Vibranium spear toward the intruder in the royal palace. With both hands powering the thrust, the spear tip aimed directly at the relatively young silver-haired youth.

Shh!

The air was pierced by the Vibranium spear, this strike surpassing what any human could achieve. Coupled with the rare Vibranium material, even Iron Man would be easily pierced by such a blow.

"Not bad," Kyle said with a calm smile. To a human, the spear strike was so fast it was almost invisible, but to him, it seemed to slow down as though there was a delay of several seconds.

Too slow.

Even without using his double-star form, it was still a little too slow for him.

'Hmm, I'm being too serious. I'm almost bullying ordinary people.'

Just as the Vibranium spear was about to strike his throat, Kyle lightning-fast extended two fingers and steadily pinched the tip of the spear, creating a sharp metallic sound as the wind from the impact slightly lifted his silver hair.

Kyle flicked his fingers, and with a sharp clang, the Vibranium spear was violently forced away by an unseen force.

The spear almost flew out of Okoye's hands. Her pupils contracted sharply as she gripped the vibrating spear tightly, her palms starting to bleed from the intense force.

Not only had he caught her Vibranium spear with his bare hands, but a simple flick had sent it flying with a force far beyond hers? A monster— only a humanoid monster could achieve something like this!

"Stop!"

Just as Okoye was about to risk her life to stop the intruders, the voice of the new king, T'Challa, came from behind.

"King, we've discovered two intruders. They're very dangerous!" Okoye and the other guards stepped back, still keeping a wary eye on Kyle and Vision.

"They're not intruders," T'Challa shook his head and looked toward Kyle, bowing respectfully. "Master Kyle."

"Master?" The Wakandan guards were stunned.

Kyle lightly shook his head and said, "I haven't taught you anything."

"My martial arts instructor was my father, and my father's instructor was you. So, you're naturally my teacher," T'Challa smiled and explained.

"Former king's teacher?" The Wakandan guards gasped, looking at Kyle in disbelief, wondering how long this seemingly young man had been alive.

"Kyle?" A short-haired young man emerged from the hall behind T'Challa, looking curiously at Kyle. "What are you doing here?"

"Steve, so you're here," Kyle's gaze shifted to Steve, and he noticed Bucky standing next to him. He realized that T'Challa had been entertaining them earlier.

"We've become acquainted in an unconventional way," T'Challa smiled and curiously asked Kyle, "Master Kyle, you must have used the magical portal from the basement decades ago to come here. Is there something important you need?"

"Indeed, there is."

Kyle pointed to Vision, who had been silent beside him, specifically to the yellow gem on his forehead. "He wants to remove the gem from his forehead. We in Carl's Kingdom don't have the certainty to do it, and I thought you might have the technology here."

"Even you don't have the certainty?" T'Challa furrowed his brow, pondering for a moment. "This needs to be seen by my sister before I can say anything."
