I Am Hades, The supreme GOD of the Underworld!

Chapter 446: Chapter 446: Persephone Assembles Her Small Team, Ready to Let Loose and Give It Her All! (Bonus Chapter 1)

Persephone paused briefly, appearing slightly lost in thought.

Then, her expression turned a bit more serious. She nodded and said, "My lord, I will handle this matter properly."

Hades's expression remained calm, with no noticeable emotional reaction.

However, Persephone didn't mind. She knew her husband's personality well.

Since he had brought up this matter again, it naturally implied that he had complete trust in her. That was beyond doubt.

She then rose and said, "My lord, I'm off to handle this."

Hades simply gave a calm nod.

Persephone departed with Eris, while Hades quietly gazed into the distance, musing aloud, "The Great Mythical World has sacrificed so much... all just to ensure humanity remains at the center?"

He pondered this question deeply.

In truth, though humanity's role as the protagonist brought hope for breaking free from a fate of destruction and for the continued growth of the Great Mythical World, it wasn't the only possibility. Other races also had the potential to succeed, and failure wasn't their guaranteed fate.

Still, the Great Mythical World had willingly paid such a high price to secure humanity's central role. But why?

It was a question worth pondering, a matter of utmost importance.

While Hades continued to contemplate, elsewhere, Persephone had called her small team together.

"Alright, everyone, let's start this meeting. I want a thorough discussion of what we're going to do next."

"Hmm…" Hestia, with her beautiful eyes shadowed by deep circles, looked like she'd been up all night.

Why did gods get tired? It seemed strange, even incomprehensible. But this was simply Hestia's nature, and both Persephone and Eris, as well as their mother, Rhea, were accustomed to it.

Normal. Completely normal. That was just how Hestia was.

Europa, however, looked a bit bewildered by the scene before her.

"Ah!"

Hestia yawned, sitting cross-legged on her throne with no semblance of a goddess's poise, looking utterly exhausted. "So, why the sudden meeting, sister-in-law?"

Yawning again, Hestia seemed completely at a loss for what was happening.

Among the deities present, only Persephone and Hestia had the status to sit, while Eris, Europa, and even Rhea stood respectfully nearby.

Persephone chuckled, saying, "Big Sister, as a goddess, you should take care of yourself. It wouldn't be good if you suddenly dropped dead, you know?"

"Huh? No problem!" Hestia grinned. "My little brother and his wife are the King and Queen of the Underworld. Even if I die, they can just fish me back out. It's a small matter!"

Persephone could only shake her head in resignation. Her elder sister had always been this way, and over time, she'd gotten used to it.

Rhea, who typically stayed quiet in such discussions, thought for a moment before speaking. "Persephone, is the Underworld preparing to explore another Great Mythical World?"

"Yes, Mother," Persephone replied. "My husband intends to explore another mythological world. However, we're still deliberating on the specifics of how to proceed."

Rhea fell silent, lost in thought. But it was a silence filled with admiration.

Time had flown by so quickly.

Her child had grown to such an extent, now comparable to the gods of the highest rank. Her child was beginning to rival even the King himself.

Though still only a God-King, her son's potential was in no way lesser than that of her husband. As an Ancient God, her husband was formidable, yet…

Rhea gave a small smile, deciding not to delve too deeply. She felt her place was merely to observe from the sidelines, watching her children grow.

As Rhea watched Persephone, Hestia, Eris, and Europa discussing the situation among themselves, she thought, "My Lord, if you were to see this scene, I wonder how you'd feel?"

Though she didn't know what her husband's reaction would be, she imagined he would feel pride, or perhaps a sense of fulfillment.

After all, Kronos had always had high hopes for his children, especially Hades, who resembled him the most.

Even if victory or defeat was another matter, even if they stood opposed to one another as father and son, he would still feel a sense of pride as he watched his child grow.
