Chapter 278: Further classifying the information
Eryndor then further segregated these things into what could actually harm him three months later.
He started with the six important points.
First point, about the cultivation speed enhancing baby. Nope.
He didn't classify that as a threat which might take his life three months later.
Actually, the 'unusual' incidents don't seem like a threat to me at all, they just simply stand out.
I should still remember them and check it out if possible. Unusual things which even a behemoth like black market can't figure out are definitely not simple things.
He then similarly discarded the second and sixth point.
His focus turned to the third point.
It was about the sky reaching bamboo.
Well, they are technically in another region. So I don't think it would affect me?
As long as I don't leave the campus, the spatial disturbance in another region shouldn't disturb me right?
I'll consult some master on this just in case though.
Next came the fourth point, about the laughing sect.
Seems like a bunch of maniacs. Shouldn't be a problem unless I offend them.
I'll take care to steer clear of anyone who has a tendency of laughing.
Yes, while using Cognitive Scrying I must also take note if any disciple has a memory of laughing uncontrollably or displaying a lack of grief, guilt or empathy.
The fifth point was the Whispering Well.
I won't take any mission regarding that area.
As far as the information in the document says, it only lures cultivators in the vicinity of that place.
He then switched to the less important points which he picked out earlier.
First point is related to the beast tide.
Since the black market knows about this, based on the degree of the involvement of Training Camp, there's a high chance that the latter knows about it as well.
I'm sure they'll take the necessary steps.
If I don't see any measures being taken, I'll find a way to anonymously inform them.
The second point was about minor sects forming a coalition.
The surrounding regions of the Training Camp weren't consisted of sects but were majorly occupied by kingdoms and empires.
They ruled over numerous mortal countries, and even suppressed the growth of sects.
Any sects which formed in this region wouldn't ever get a chance to grow beyond a certain level due to the empires and kingdoms.
So this is basically a situation of unrest in all domains - political, economical, cultivation, and all other types.
I'll be safe as long as I don't enter these regions then.
Because my chances of dying are higher in those regions, what if they used me to involve the Training Camp in the fray?
The third point was about Ruther, the young boy who was older than he looked.
Eryndor discarded that.
The fourth point was illegal pills which helped in pseudo-breakthroughs.
The pills which allowed in pseudo breakthroughs were extremely difficult to make, and their market wasn't as large either since only those looking to breakthrough bought them.
Still, they were pretty important, since these pills were used in one of the most important parts of cultivation. Therefore, they were expensive.
Since they were expensive, it also meant plenty of incentive for alchemists to try their hand at it and make imitations without any official and legitimate pill recipe.
Alchemists who failed at concocting such an important pill would choose to sell the half baked versions at places where pills were rare.
Coincidentally, this Training Camp happened to be one such place since there was only a single alchemist here.
The majority of the other Training Camps weren't so unlucky.
One might have a doubt that people could also buy pills from the black market right? They shouldn't be so rare.
However, one must not forget the inherent nature of the black market. Things were almost always more expensive here than in a normal shop outside.
Therefore, such pills had quite a market here since they wouldn't be sold at a high price due to them being half baked.
The alchemist who made these pills would also get some profit this way, because if they sold it in a pill saturated market they wouldn't get anything.
I don't need such pills, and I doubt they'll cause my death or be a cause of some major disaster. This can be discarded as well.
Fifth was about that travelling cultivator with the ability to trigger cultivation deviation.
Hmmm, even if I have a high control of Qi, I should keep track of that cultivator's movements just in case.
Sixth point was the thought syncing phenomenon, suspected to be due to the birth of a treasure.
Unless the treasure attacks and is capable of causing deaths, this shouldn't be a problem either.
Lastly, the existence of an unknown Crystallization realm expert in the Training camp.
When he first read through the existence of an expert of such a level, he immediately put it at the highest level of danger.
After all, his measly Qi Condensation realm level of power could likely be blown away by a single breath for an expert of that caliber.
There was also the problem of location.
Unlike other dangers which were far away and could simply be avoided by not approaching that area, this one was right here in the Training Camp itself.
How the fuck was he supposed to avoid it?
This might also be one of the pieces of information due to which the price I paid is so high.
After all, one doesn't know the affiliation of such a powerful individual. What if the person who bought the information somehow convinced such an existence and brought harm to the Training Camp?
But then again, the price I paid wasn't high enough. Therefore I think the people behind black market must've already determined somehow that this information can't cause much damage.
I wonder why?
Well, I still have to keep my distance from any suspicious people then.
With everything sorted out, Eryndor heaved a huge sigh of relief.
He at least had something to start with now.
