I am an Eldritch Entity

Chapter 277: All the prominent unusual and future dangerous situations.

The list was long, very long. So Eryndor only picked out the more important ones for the time being after skimming through the document once.

He would later continue reading the less prominent incidents in detail.

The Silver-Sworn Child

Location: Southern forest of the Training Camp.

Details: A toddler wrapped in pale silver Qi appears only during clear nights. Any who take him in receive rapid cultivation boosts for three days, but afterward, suffer a permanent drop in lifespan.

Danger: Cultivators grow addicted to the gains, trading years for power recklessly.

The Fall of the Fox-Eyed Hunter

Location: Borderlands near the Training Camp

Details: Hu Ren, famed for predicting beast behavior and laying flawless traps, suddenly began failing every hunt.

Beasts outmaneuvered him, his snares failed, and his disciples report he now draws nonsensical battle plans and cannot anticipate basic movement.

Suspicion: No primary suspects found. Very unusual.

Next most possible explanation is that he offended a memory path senior with a bad temper.

Sky-Reaching Bamboo

Location: Hidden grove in a neighboring mortal kingdom.

Details: A patch of bamboo growing into the clouds. Their number keeps increasing uncontrollably.

Cut sections enhance movement techniques drastically.

Danger: Causes spatial instability. A sect using it experienced five teleportation deaths in a week.

Future Risk: Might tear local space, creating a miniature spatial rift or unstable gateway leading to unknown locations.

Laughing Sect

Location: Operates among outer regions of Training Camp and nearby cities.

Details: Cultists who laugh uncontrollably while fighting. Their cultivation increases with emotional instability.

Danger: Their growth is exponential. Cities are infiltrated. Laughter reportedly heard in Training Camp outskirts.

Suspicion: A curse-echo from the sealed cultivator 'Joyous Suffering'.

Side Effects: Members lose capacity to feel grief, guilt, or empathy.

Currently can't be dealt with due to the death of the Array Formation expert who made the seal.

A team of experts are currently studying the seal to strengthen it as soon as possible.

Whispering Well

Location: Abandoned corner of Training Camp campus, behind the collapsed Hall of Divinations.

Details: Whispered voices lure lone cultivators at night, offering personalized secrets or forbidden cultivation arts.

Side Effects: Those who accept suffer memory disintegration—forgetting loved ones or losing core cultivation arts.

Suspicion: A sealed entity of pure soul form, feeding on identity.

Condition: Activated by loneliness or desperation. Likely becoming stronger with each memory it steals.

Currently can't be dealt with due to lack of experts in soul path in vicinity.

Dismissal of a famed researcher.

Location: Research institute of ancient languages.

Details: A renowned master in the institute was dismissed based on a nonsensical reason - 'Doesn't know the languages anymore.'

Suspicion: Politics might be at play. However, it doesn't explain the blatant reason for suspension.

These were the ones Eryndor picked out of all the points of information he received.

Number one, two and six are unusual instances, while three, four and five are situations which could get worse if not handled in time.

However, this was not all he focused on. There were still some other matters which although didn't stand out as the above six, still caught his attention.

Beast Tide towards Training Camp forming unnaturally early this year.

Minor sects forming coalitions secretly – possibly funded by foreign kingdoms.

A disciple with no background or records exhibiting impossible progress. Name - Ruther.

He didn't really care if a disciple suddenly progressed quickly to be honest.

There were endless cases as to what might have happened. Treasure? Found a powerful cultivation art? Found a lot of resources? And various more reasons.

The only reason Eryndor put this on the list was because of the name.

Ruther.

It was the name of that young boy, who was older than he looked.

Of course, since he wasn't originally suspicious of him, there was no reason to do so now just because he met him a single time which didn't even involve anything beyond a single sentence of conversation.

Well, why not? He is also in that team to kill the anomaly.

If I decide to investigate this guy, I might also come across some information on the team.

Emergence of a new illegal pill that allows brief pseudo-breakthroughs.

A traveling cultivator spreading bizarre truths that cause cultivation deviation.

Eryndor almost had an impulse to try which one was better, his own control or the ability of the cultivator to cause cultivation deviation.

Of course, it was simply foolish.

On the other hand though, he also seriously thought about it.

Just because the maximum known control on Earth was thirty percent didn't mean it was the same here.

Given their history, there was a high chance that even hundred percent control existed here.

If this travelling cultivator was on Earth, Eryndor could have assumed with almost hundred percent accuracy that all the people who experienced cultivation deviation after listening to him only had a control of up to thirty percent.

However, here in the Cultivation world? Nope.

What if there were people with fifty or even sixty percent control who ended up with cultivation deviation? Then he would simply be seeking his own demise.

Thoughts syncing between multiple disciples—a mind related treasure might be forming.

Signs of an unknown Crystallization level entity hiding in disguise among staff, guards or even masters.

Not yet figured out which one.

Eryndor already knew by now that the head of their Training Camp was at Nascent Soul level.

He didn't know what particular progress he had in that realm, but only that he was at the sixth level of the cultivation power system.

Crystallization was the fifth level of the cultivation power system.

Since the head was at the sixth level, it was only right for the masters to be at the fifth level.

However, Crystallization realm cultivators were capable of large scale disasters.

In the period of time where the seventh level was the peak, the fifth level cultivators could easily wield a massive amount of power.

And one such level of unknown entity had managed to infiltrate the Training Camp.

Eryndor narrowed his eyes after compiling important points, deep in thought.
