The Challenge

The afternoon sun blazed over the academy as Dzeth completed his daily exercise routine outside. Sweat dripped down his face, but he remained focused. After finishing his workout, he returned to the classroom and sat down to read a book about Hunters.

Suddenly, Hwang approached him, leaning against the desk with a smirk.

"Just you wait after school, weakling," Hwang sneered.

Dzeth ignored him, flipping another page of his book. There was no need to entertain someone like Hwang.

The President's Interest

Meanwhile, the President received shocking news—Dzeth had single-handedly defeated an Emperor Cursed. The report intrigued him.

"What kind of power did he use?" the President murmured.

If Dzeth was truly that strong, he might be eligible to jump ranks straight to Grade-S. But the truth of his abilities remained a mystery. Only Akanza and Hwang had seen Dzeth's real power.

Ambush After School

As the school day ended, Dzeth walked toward the academy gates. But as soon as he stepped outside, he was met with a group of students blocking his path—Hwang and his entire class.

"Now, you die," Hwang declared, cracking his knuckles.

Dzeth sighed. He had no intention of fighting, nor did he want to reveal his strength to the world. But there was no way out.

The Battle Begins

Hwang lunged forward with a powerful punch, but Dzeth dodged effortlessly. In one swift motion, he grabbed Hwang's arm and threw him into his own teammates.

The other students immediately retaliated—fireballs, earth spikes, sharp winds, and rapid kicks flew toward Dzeth.

A massive explosion erupted where he stood.

"Got him!" Hwang shouted.

But as the dust cleared, a chill ran down their spines. Dzeth was behind them.

Without hesitation, he unleashed Maximum Positive, sending waves of golden energy toward his attackers. At the same time, he fired Negative Reversal, hitting each of them with a surge of destructive force.

Dzeth then rushed forward at lightning speed, striking each student with a precise punch to the stomach. One by one, they collapsed, groaning in pain.

Once they were all down, Dzeth activated his Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT), healing everyone—including Hwang.

The students looked at Dzeth in awe.

"T-Thanks for healing us," one of them muttered.

But Hwang was different.

Awakening: Beast Body

Enraged, Hwang gritted his teeth. He activated his full power.

"AWAKENING: BEAST BODY!!"

His body expanded, his muscles grew larger, and his aura erupted like a wild beast ready to hunt.

The other students gasped.

But Dzeth?

He simply walked up to Hwang and said, "I don't have time for this. Go home and get some rest."

The entire group froze.

Hwang had Awakened, yet Dzeth spoke as if it didn't matter.

One Strike Victory

"RESPECT ME!!!" Hwang roared, lunging forward with his enhanced strength.

But before he could reach Dzeth—

BAM!

Dzeth blasted Negative Reversal straight at Hwang.

Hwang collapsed instantly, unable to move.

The students were speechless.

"One hit…?" one of them whispered.

Once again, Dzeth healed Hwang with RCT, allowing him to stand. Without another word, Dzeth turned and walked home.

A Simple Night

Back at home, Dzeth sat down with a book, flipping through its pages. He barely read a sentence before his body gave in to exhaustion.

He lay down and fell asleep almost instantly.

A Difficult Mission?

The next day, Dzeth's teacher handed him a mission.

"This one is quite difficult," the teacher warned.

Dzeth shrugged. "It's fine. Shouldn't take long."

He headed straight to the mission location.

Upon arrival, he unsheathed his Heavenly Dagger.

A swarm of Curses charged at him.

Ten minutes later, every single one of them was dead.

Dzeth reported back to his teacher.

Reading the report, the teacher's hands trembled.

(Is this really Dzeth…?)

A New Threat

Elsewhere, a Grade-A Hunter observed Dzeth from a distance.

He had seen everything.

A sinister grin spread across his face.

"So he's the one who killed Emperor Cursed…"

He could feel Dzeth's overwhelming aura.

"I can't let him get any stronger," the man thought.

"I have to kill him… tomorrow."
