Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Emperor [2]
The Crimson Sky
Akanza stood outside the abandoned mansion, his legs trembling. His black eyes widened as he saw thick crimson light rising from within the building, merging with streaks of golden energy piercing the sky.
"What... is this?" Akanza muttered, his palms shaking.
That aura wasn't normal. It was the sign of an intense battle raging inside—a fight between Dzeth and a being far greater than himself.
-
At the Japanese Presidential Palace
Inside a high-tech control room, several uniformed officers stood stiffly before a massive screen displaying satellite images. Their eyes were fixed on a blinking red dot on the map.
"Mr. President!" A breathless officer rushed in. "We've detected a Grade-S Curse moving in the southern region!"
A well-groomed man in his 50s, with neatly combed white hair and dressed in formal government attire, lifted his gaze.
"Where exactly?" the Japanese President asked sternly.
"An old abandoned mansion. But..." The officer hesitated before continuing, "...there are also two young Hunters inside, both still at Grade-D! "
The President's eyes widened. "What?"
Without hesitation, he issued an order. "Deploy two Grade-S Hunters to that location. Make sure they arrive before it's too late!"
"Yes, sir!"
-
The Battle Against Emperor Curse
Dzeth moved at blinding speed, his body appearing and disappearing in an instant. His sword sliced through the air with incredible power, severing four fingers from Emperor Curse's razor-sharp claws.
The monstrous being let out a furious roar, its head snapping back before spewing a stream of black toxic mist from its mouth.
Dzeth swiftly dodged, flipping backward as the venom splashed onto the ground and walls, melting everything instantly.
He gritted his teeth. "If that touches me, I'm done for."
Without wasting time, he activated Negative Reversal and unleashed a dark energy blast toward Emperor Curse. The attack struck the monster's shoulder, but it wasn't enough to take it down.
Emperor Curse bellowed in rage, then lunged at Dzeth with terrifying speed.
Its gleaming claws swung downward.
Slash!
Blood splattered through the air.
Dzeth froze for a moment. Both of his arms were gone.
He collapsed onto the floor, searing pain shooting through his entire body. His vision blurred, but he quickly activated Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT). Within seconds, his arms regenerated completely.
"No way..." Emperor Curse growled, its glowing eyes filled with fury.
-
Syafi on His Way
On a long, empty highway, a sleek black car raced at an illegal speed.
Syafi gripped the steering wheel tightly, his eyes locked on the road ahead.
"Dzeth... wait for me."
He had already received the report—his younger brother was fighting an impossible battle. But the problem was—he was still too far away.
-
Forbidden Technique – Infinity Purple
Dzeth clutched his chest, his breaths ragged. Memories of his dream flashed through his mind—the mysterious man who had used a strange technique called Infinity Purple.
"Maybe... that's the only way."
He clenched his fists. If that man could do it, then so could he.
He dashed toward Emperor Curse, striking it with Maximum Positive before fusing the energy with Negative Reversal.
Something unexpected happened.
The energy shifted—not red, not black—but Dark Purple.
"Infinity Purple."
With a force that shook the air, the energy detonated in a massive explosion.
BOOOOMMM!
The blast was so immense that the entire mansion vanished in an instant.
Akanza, waiting outside, was thrown backward by the shockwave. He scrambled to his feet, staring at the massive dust cloud rising into the sky.
"No way..."
-
The World's Reaction
At the academy, Dzeth's teacher, who had once doubted his abilities, stood frozen at his office window.
From afar, he could see the explosion flashing in the night sky.
"What's happening over there?"
-
Grade-S Hunters Arrive
Three figures shot through the air, landing at what was now nothing more than an empty wasteland.
Ryoqa, a Grade-S Hunter with silver hair, examined the destruction around him.
"What happened to this mansion?"
Beside him, another Grade-S Hunter, RoBie, frowned. "This wasn't just the work of a Grade-S Curse."
Syafi, who had just arrived, immediately spoke up. "Where are Dzeth and Akanza?"
They walked closer, eventually spotting someone standing amidst the ruins.
Dzeth stood there, his body covered in wounds, his breathing heavy. But he was still alive.
The Grade-S Hunters fell silent. They couldn't believe what they were seeing.
A mere Grade-D had defeated an Emperor Curse alone.
Syafi rushed over to Akanza, who was still exhausted from the battle.
"What happened, Akanza?"
Akanza swallowed, glancing at Dzeth before answering softly.
"Dzeth... he handled everything on his own."
Ryoqa and RoBie exchanged glances.
In his mind, RoBie thought, "This kid... is far stronger than I expected."
