Human? Pokémon? Why Not Both?

Chapter 23: 23: Suddenly Understanding the Joy of Gambling on Stones

"Did Meowscarada discover something?" Ryn leaned close to Meowscarada's ear and whispered.

"Meow."

Meowscarada nodded and then pointed to a particular stone on the stone shelf.

"Alright, I'll buy it."

Ryn also purchased the stone that Meowscarada had pointed out, though he didn't know what was inside. However, Ryn trusted Meowscarada's judgment.

After purchasing the supplies, Ryn also exited the mall.

Then, Ryn arrived at a small hill outside Pewter City, took out the stone he had bought at the supermarket, placed it on the ground, and released Scyther.

"Scyther, cut this stone."

"Scy."

Scyther nodded, performed the Sword Dance three times, then raised its blade and swung it down forcefully.

Like cutting tofu, the stone was sliced open in an instant by Scyther's blade.

Speaking of which, the reason Scyther could perform Sword Dance at level 19 was due to the tribe it originally lived in.

It was precisely because of this that Ryn's Scyther was able to perform the Sword Dance technique at level 19, a technique that is normally only learnable after reaching level 35.

After the stone was cut open, Ryn finally saw what was inside.

A jade-green stone shaped like a leaf.

"It's the Leaf Stone?!"

Ryn's eyes were filled with excitement.

Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Leaf Stone, Ice Stone, Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Light Stone, and Dark Stone.

Among these, Fire Stone, Water Stone, and Thunder Stone are the most common.

The other stones are relatively rare.

A single Leaf Stone on the market would cost at least 100,000.

The other three stones each cost 50,000.

This Leaf Stone can be used to evolve Eevee, Gloom, Weepinbell, Exeggcute, Nuzleaf, and Pansage.

Ryn naturally planned to use this Leaf Stone to evolve Eevee into Leafeon.

He intended to capture all members of the Eevee family.

Even if they weren't used for battle, they would make excellent companions.

In the wild, Eevee are indeed quite rare, but in the wilderness area, there is still a fairly high chance of encountering them.

"You've done a great job, Meowscarada," Ryn smiled as he patted Meowscarada on the shoulder.

He then put the Leaf Stone into his backpack.

Hearing Ryn's praise, Meowscarada was naturally delighted, but she preferred rewards over praise.

She gave him a seductive glance and made a suggestive gesture toward him.

Seeing this, Ryn sighed helplessly and agreed, "Alright, alright. We'll discuss this later tonight."

"Meow~"

Meowscarada wrapped her arm around Ryn's, her face brimming with joy.

Since the gathering was in the afternoon, Ryn planned to look for trainers to battle in Pewter City.

Ever since he experienced the thrill of battle three days ago, Ryn had become obsessed with it.

It was the same addictive feeling as playing games.

Plus, it was a good opportunity to see how his training over the past three days had paid off.

Time flew by as he engaged in Pokémon battles.

By the time Ryn finished his last match, defeating his opponent's Rattata with his Scyther, the sky had already turned dark.

Over the past half-day, Ryn's gains were quite large, a mix of wins and losses and he had learned a lot and made significant progress.

Charmander had leveled up from 14 to 15, while Scyther had barely managed to break through from 19 to 20.

Even though she had participated in the most battles.

After recalling Scyther, Ryn wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked up at the sky, feeling a bit dazed. Battles required intense focus and concentration, which was mentally exhausting.

Ryn rubbed his eyes and couldn't help but sigh, "Time really flies. I didn't realize it was already afternoon. I need to meet up with Misty."

Just as Ryn finished speaking, Misty's voice sounded behind him.

"There's no need to trouble yourself."

"Misty?"

Ryn spun around.

Misty was holding two cans of soft drink in her hands.

She walked up to Ryn and handed him one of the cans.

"Hmm… I didn't expect to find you here, but I never would have guessed that you, Ryn, are so passionate about Pokémon battles. While I was out shopping, I heard people talking about a trainer with a green cat Pokémon who was fighting nonstop with incredible stamina. I came over to see for myself, and it turns out that the battle maniac they were talking about was you, Ryn."

"Ahaha…" Ryn took the drink Misty handed him, gave an awkward smile, and then took a sip.

"Let's go to the Pokémon Center. After battling all afternoon, Charmander and Scyther must be exhausted. Really, you said you were going to challenge the Pewter Gym this afternoon, but instead you brought Scyther and Charmander to battle. The only one you can really rely on is Meowscarada."

Misty was well aware of Meowscarada's strength; challenging the entire Kanto region's gyms wouldn't be a problem.

However, Ryn had previously stated that he wanted to train himself, so Meowscarada would definitely not participate in the Gym battle.

Therefore, Scyther and Charmander were now exhausted from continuous battles and couldn't participate in the Gym battle, so they would have to wait until tomorrow.

Ryn drank his drink in one gulp, then said, "Let's challenge the Pewter Gym tomorrow instead.

Hearing this, Misty rolled her eyes at Ryn.

"Let's go to the Pokémon Center first. I also want to take a good shower and get a good night's sleep."

"Alright."

Ryn and Misty went to the Pokémon Center. After handing over Charmander and Scyther to Nurse Joy for recovery, Ryn also received two room keys from Nurse Joy.

One was for him, and the other was for Misty.

Upon entering the room on the second floor of the Pokémon Center, Ryn threw himself into the arms of Meowscarada.

When they were alone, Meowscarada would remove the scarf from her chest, releasing her large, soft breasts.

Ryn buried his face in those soft, fluffy, warm breasts, taking deep breaths while swaying back and forth.

The soft, massive breasts also bounced like jelly due to Ryn's movements.

"Indeed, fluffiness truly heals everything. It feels like all the fatigue from today has been healed. Sniff, sniff…"

As he spoke, Ryn slid his face downward, eventually burying it in Meowscarada's abdomen.

Though the abdomen wasn't as soft as the breasts and wasn't as smooth and delicate as a human's, the combination of fluffiness and warmth made Ryn feel this was the best place to rest his face besides the breasts.

Buried in Meowscarada's abdomen, Ryn's breathing soon became calm.

Clearly, Ryn had fallen asleep.

"Meow~"

Meowscarada smiled and cuddled Ryn affectionately, using her paws.

At the same time, Meowscarada also lay down carefully on the bed.

Seeing that Ryn was asleep, Meowscarada carefully moved him up a bit, so that his face was pressed against her soft breasts.

The soft, large breasts were undoubtedly the best choice for a pillow.

Meowscarada gazed at Ryn's sleeping face, her lips curving into a faint smile.

She then slowly closed her eyes.
