Making full use of her strong legs, Laura shifted away, only to see a long and thick furry hand thrash onto the spot she was just standing on.

The claws attached at the end of the long hand carved out of the marble underneath them like butter and gleamed under the light that had been confined from the sun outside.

The claws felt hypnotic and Laura caught herself looking at them until they vanished in the blink of an eye as she was forced to duck to dodge the hand that slashed the area that was just occupied by her head.

Her pupils dilated and Laura vanished from her spot as she grabbed the large furry hand by its elbow and locked it under her armpit.

Then with the strength of a hundred elephants, she pulled the arm and consequently the body attached to it from the portal to the abyss that was in front of her.

The hand resisted at first but in a few seconds, as Laura tightened her grip on the arm, the creature seemed to give up fighting against her and allowed itself to be pulled out of the portal.

The resulting reveal was a creature that was a mess of festering wounds and darkness.

The creature was an ellipsoid hairy mass with four limbs attached to it. It had rotting wounds all over its body with a large mouth that split its body right down the centre. It had several eyes that sprouted in all the places on its body where there wasn't a wound.

A dark mist followed its body composed of tiny dots as if it were made up of a million flies.

A rotting stench filled the room almost immediately when it used two of its arms to stand on the ground like it had legs.

Laura's eyes shined brighter and began to burn with fervour as she watched the demonic being that had been pulled into the room. 

In a bid to survive, or rather fight back, the mist around the demonic being only solidified and protected its body from coming in direct contact with Laura's body.

A slippery surface formed in between them as Laura was forced to let go when she noticed her hands started to erode.

Laura brought her index and thumb fingers closer and closer to snap them and confine the demon with an invisible barrier so that it couldn't escape from the hall they were in, but it was faster.

Before Laura could activate her ability to trap the demonic figure, its mouth opened to reveal the death-like abyss inside its maw.

A shrill *SSCRREEEEEEEEEEEEEECCHCHHHHHH* escaped the mouth of the demonic creature, erupting in a loud shout that stormed Laura's mind.

Overlaying this *screech* of death, was a foul grating sound that spelled out words in the demonic language.

"SLOW!!!"

Suddenly, Laura's entire body felt like it was weighed down by a thousand feet of water. 

Every single muscle in her body felt like it was wrestling against an entire ship. Her body felt like it had been forced to a stop. The infinitely small distance between her finger and thumb to activate the *snap* just couldn't be shortened.

And the demon kept mounting on this attack.

"DEATH!!!"

Laura's skin started to slowly bruise at various parts on her body as her blood clotted.

Laura's eyes peered deep into the several eyeballs of the demonic being before her spirituality exploded as she spoke loud and clear-

"It is prohibited to use the language of foulness here!"

The demonic creature let out a shrill *SSSCRREEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* before the mystical verbal chains that were keeping Laura bound in her place snapped.

Some of the demonic being's eyes exploded since it had broken the law Laura had set up.

Laura's body looked worse for wear. The language of foulness had done a number on her. While not much since she was a saint, it was enough to make a normal person scrunch up in pain on the ground each time they'd move.

But even with the two of them wounded, the demonic being was faster to recover!

What shocked Laura the most was that the eyes that had exploded, suddenly returned to their pristine state!

The other smaller bruises both internal and external too seemed to be healing at a rapid pace too.

Within moments, a bright sword of lava emerged from the ceiling as the demon waved its hands, slowly becoming tall enough to be a large claymore that pierced the ceiling as it aimed to drop down onto Laura's body.

"The powers of the abyss are weaker in light!!!!!" Laura practically screamed.

She expended a tremendous amount of spirituality to empower the law and make the consequences of breaking it even more severe but it just wasn't enough for some reason.

The demonic being even though clearly empowering itself with the abyssal darkness and hell fire, even though it was suffering and hurting as was apparent from its continuously mutating body, just wouldn't fall.

It was as if there was an external factor pulling back its wounds. Healing it just as fast as it was being hurt.

Laura's eyes narrowed as she realised what was happening.

'A Miracle Demon!'

The large sword of lava burrowed from the ceiling and finally clashed with her.

But Laura didn't stay down to be killed.

Her fingers extended and touched the tip of the large sword.

And as anyone might have expected, the sword didn't burn her finger or even pierce through!

It didn't even stop!

The sword was sucked into what appeared to be a black hole!

The sword looked to be in a tug of war, trying its best to obey the commands of its master, to pierce Laura, or to obey the laws of physics to be engulfed by a black hole!

Laura had tried to Exile the sword with the help of her beyonder ability into the void!

The tug of war didn't last long, however.

Almost immediately as soon as the clash started-

There was a bright flash of light that caused the entire floor to explode.

As she regained control of her body, Laura noticed the presence of a few other than herself around room!

"LLLLLLLUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Laura heard a boyish voice shout through all the dirt and dust that had lifted to cover everyone.

The gears in Laura's mind spun as she spoke the following, stating it as if it were law in Latin, "Abilities manipulating luck are more effective!!!"

Almost immediately the demon's misfortune increased.

The golden retriever from before emerged behind the demon and bit one of its eyes while clawing out more of its eyes, sending it in a flurry of sudden pain.

As it started to search for the dog that had attacked it and kill it, a barrage of flame needles erupted from somewhere and pierced its remaining eyes.

*SSSCRREEEEEECCCC-*

Laura spoke again, "The Language of Foulness is against the law!!!!"

The demonic creature that shouted to corrupt Laura and all the people who had appeared around it disregarded the interruption from Laura as he continued shouting, putting in even more spirituality as it shouted in latin-

"DEATH!!!"

With the demonic creature breaking a law that Laura had set so egregiously, Laura finally had the upper hand.

"Execution!!!!! The Sun deems this insect from the abyss to be intolerable!!!" Laura proclaimed.

Almost as if the sun had heard her command, it broke through the rain clouds of the day and shone onto her with full brightness.

A spear of light suddenly formed above Laura's head that was about two meters tall, but suddenly nearly tripled in size and grew even larger as Laura thrust it towards the demonic creature.

Everyone on the floor watched with bated breath as the spear moved to cover the distance between itself and the demonic creature. But just as the spear came closer to the demonic creature, it shouted once again!

However, this time even as everyone prepared to feel some effect from its shout nothing happened.

But just as everyone fell into a confused stance about what the demon had tried to do, their eyes widened!

Suddenly now it was Loki who was facing the spear of light instead of the demonic creature who was standing where Loki was just standing, beside Daphne.

As Loki's eyes fell on the spear that was approaching him his brain started to fire up and think of a way to get out from where he was.

'Is the only way out to teleport away?'
