Just as Loki firmed his mind to teleport and think about a solution to answer other's questions later, he felt a strong tug towards his left.

The sudden tug only grew stronger and ripped him out of his position as it pulled him closer to it.

The tug was from the gate to the underworld that Ethan had created using his Beyonder abilities as a Sequence 5 gatekeeper.

The gate vanished before Loki was sucked into it and he came to a stop in Ethan's arms.

The spear kept moving through the air as it tore through towards the demon who had escaped it once, but it was better prepared to intercept it this time.

There was a soft silence on the floor and everyone made eye contact with each other.

There were seven people on the floor, Laura, Ethan, Loki, Daphne, Dominic, the dog and the demonic creature.

*SCREEEEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*

The demonic creature shouted with all its force once again and within moments just as everyone expected to be hit with some sort of curse because of the language of foulness, the spear of light that Laura controlled vanished.

Everyone's mind went into overdrive as they started to think of a solution to their current predicament.

Loki however was the fastest, along with Laura who knew exactly what was going on.

'The spear vanished?'

'And the last time it teleported me to its location instead.'

'....why? No, the right question is how!?'

'It has to speak before it makes things happen each time something unexpected happens…'

'Is it using the unfinished ritual in some way to cause miracles to happen?'

'....miracles?'

Loki's mind flicked with fire and it presented him a theory.

'Wait a minute! Couldn't this be considered a miracle!? So would this be the work of a Miracle Invoker!?'

'But this is a demon! So a Beyonder item made from the characteristics of a Miracle Invoker!?'

Loki immediately activated his spirit vision and within moments he recognised exactly where such a prescious item was present on the demonic creature's body.

It was inside its mouth, at the centre of the spherical bodiless head of the demon.

'Damn!!! How do I get that out?'

'Getting it out is not possible, so the only other way is to combat around it.'

'The demonic creature has used two wishes so far…'

'There shouldn't be many more left for it to use for itself unless it fulfils the smaller wishes of other people first!'

Almost immediately, as soon as Loki thought that he saw the eyes of the demonic creature explode and shower everyone in acidic tar-like black blood.

And although everyone was confused about why its eyes had exploded, Loki saw through it all.

'It fulfilled the dog's wish to harm its eyes by exploding its eye balls!!!!'

'It probably has another wish now!!!'

'I must stop it from wishing harm onto everyone else!'

Before anyone could react, Loki activated the Ring of Harvest and caused the ground around the demonic creature to explode with lava using the ability, Volcanic Erruption from the soul of Tom Marvolo Riddle inside the ring.

As soon as the volcanic eruption emerged from underneath the demon, everyone became a little shocked but Laura did not let this opportunity slip as she shouted, "Lava blessed by the SUN is holy!!!"

The lava that previously emitted a demonic feel suddenly emitted a much more holy feel as the sun shone through the hole in the ceiling, causing the demonic creature that was previously able to tank it, to sing like a cannery.

*SSSSSSSSSSCCCRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAACCCHHHHHHHHH*

The demon screamed but Loki knew his plan had worked, because immediately after the creature *screached* the holy lava that had exploded underneath it vanished!

'It used another wish!'

But this was too late however since almost immediately as the lava vanished like the light spear from earlier, a gigantic much more powerful and faster spear of light rained down from the sky.

Blinded, burnt and turned deaf the demon did not realise that it was about to die before it was stabbed through by the thick spear of light that killed almost immediately.

As if on ceremony, Loki immediately rushed toward the demon and held out his hand on its head causing a large mouth to pop up on the ring he was wearing which swallowed the entirety of the demon's body.

No one stopped him because of the suddenness with which he'd done it but Loki acted as if he'd done something really crazy as he collapsed onto the floor in final victory.

"What was that Loki?" Dominic asked with a hesitant expression.

"This ring…" Loki said taking a deep breath as if he was exhausted, "Bought this ring that can create an eruption of lava…the only problem is it needs to eat meat as soon as its used."

Loki had deliberately exposed the ring and its ability on purpose so that everyone would form a misinformed expectation of it. So that they would think that the ring could only do that one thing and that it was extremely pricy to do so.

He didn't want it to be revealed after all that he could 'negotiate' with the ring to keep it unfed for nearly two years and that his abilities as a Mystery Pryer was thanks to this ring alone.

"You understood something else didn't you?" Laura however asked Loki and he nodded.

"Yes. I guessed it, but luckily it turned out to be right."

"A guess?" Laura asked with folded hands. "I'd hardly call that a guess."

"Yes. I guessed that it needed to fulfil other people's wishes to request a wish for itself."

"Are you serious!? That doesn't make much sense…" Luara complained and Loki nodded once again.

"Yes, on its own not much. But taking everything into account it's quite possible."

"What do you mean by everything else? You were here for a few seconds…you didn't even see it fight, forget categorising it as a miracle demon."

"I think Mr. Prick here wished for something strange from the demon. I don't know what he wished, or even why he wished what he did, but I'm sure he did ask something from the demon that was summoned because of this ritual."

"Why are you so sure?" Dominic asked.

"Because everyone that stepped into this room was corrupted but not killed even though killing them all would've been much easier for the demon."

"..." Daphne paused to think a little and then she realised. "Is that why you said it needed to fulfil the wishes of others so that it could fulfil its own wishes?"

Loki nodded and explained. "The demon most likely corrupted them to fulfil their wishes in some twisted manner so that it could fulfil either its own or Mr. Prick's wish. Like those other people in the village whose bodies have become hollow, soulless."

"I think it has to mark everyone that it wants to fulfil the wish of…like this dog…" Loki said softly, "I think it is probably 'corrupted' or marked in some way since the demon fulfilled its wish of making the demon lose eyes while the dog was chewing on one of them." Loki said petting the dog that was comfortably sitting now even though it was bathed in blood.

"Ah!" Daphne's eyes immediately widened along with Ethan's while Dominic stood confused so Laura explained, "The demon fulfilled the dog's wish so that it could use a wish next. And he attacked the demon at the moment so that it would use its wish to get rid of Loki's attack instead of attacking us."

Dominic's eyes widened as he understood and Ethan patted Loki's shoulder as he said with some pride, "I guess you saved us all boy…"

Loki only laughed and said, "Probably wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for this dog. They truly are man's best friends aren't they?"

But his joke didn't land since everyone else in the room was a 'pure' wizard who didn't have dog pets, but they didn't say anything because Loki had just saved their lives, technically.
