Chapter 19: Ch. 19 - My Imouto is changing?
"Will I see you again?" Kenshin asked just as he and Yasaka was about to part ways.
"I'm not sure…" Yasaka also felt it would be a waste it this would be the last time they'd see each other.
She has grown to like the human in front of her, it was him who helped her grow out of her shell after all.
"This might be a dumb question but do you use LINE?" Kenshin scratched his cheeks.
Although Yasaka is a Yokai and belongs to the world of Supernaturals, but since LINE is the most used and famous messaging app used throughout Japan, it's the only thing that he has in terms of communicating with someone in long distances.
"LINE? I remember it being a human thing of communication, right?" Kenshin nodded at her words.
He then proceeded to explain the application to her.
In the end, Yasaka came to a decision that she would buy herself a smartphone, learn how to use it and install the LINE application.
Kenshin, on the other hand, left her a handwritten note of his number and LINE ID before they parted ways.

By the time Kenshin got home, it was already late at night and the neighborhood was extremely quiet, aside from a few stray dogs barking and any other stray animal noises.
Grabbing the house key hidden underneath the floor mat, Kenshin used it to open the door.
Inside, he was greeted with darkness, his parents and sister probably sleeping already.
'Just go in nice and quiet.' Using his stealth skills, Kenshin made his way up through the stairs and was about to enter his room when a light peeking through a small gap in his sister's door caught his attention.
Silently praying in his mind that he won't find his sister naked or doing something inappropriate, Kenshin peeked inside.
At the same time, his ears caught a female voice inside.
"Hello girlies! Welcome to my Youtube channel! Today, I'll be teaching you my makeup routine. I have four different make-ups. One for when I'm juse chilling at home, one for when I go out by myself, one for if with my friends and finally, a makeup for when I want to go to a club and flirt, if you know what I mean~"
Inside the room, only the brightness of Tomoko's computer screen serves as a source of light in the dark room.
As for Tomoko herself, she was sitting in front of the said screen, scribbling on her notebook as she intently watched the video with seriousness.
"I see…So it's like that…" After she was finished with taking down notes, she then took a small makeup case containing a brush with a few colors.
In another hand, she grabbed a lipstick that she crudely placed on her lips.
One can tell how inexperienced she is. Not only the lipstick is way past the lines of her lips, the shade on the upper and lower lips aren't evenly matched.
"It should be like this…" Kenshin heard her mutter and that's when he stopped peeking.
'That was my little sister? Since when did she change like this?!' Kenshin muttered under his breath.
Obviously, his little sister has always hated doing make ups, deeming them unnecessary and an obstruction to her natural beauty.
And now, such an avid hater of makeups, suddenly started doing make up for absolutely no reason?!
'Either I'm dreaming or Yasaka must've given me some hallucinogenic spell with her spiritual arts.' Kenshin shook his head and sauntered towards his room.
Inside, he wasted no time removing his clothes by placing them in his inventory before jumping on the bed.
Looking at the ceiling, Kenshin's vision was barraged with multiple screens.

From the looks of it, his last fight with the Nekomata master where he turned off all of his senses and allowed his body instinct and reflexes do the job gave him quite a few boons.
"Well, everything was worth it. And thanks to Yasaka, I don't have to sleep with a bunch of injuries." Kenshin muttered before stretching his limbs, hearing quite a few pops in satisfaction.
Before long, Kenshin drifted to sleep.

In the end, Yasaka got back to Kyoto, going against her parents.
Alone in their huge home, Yasaka laid on the bed, ignoring the constant communication spells that she has been receiving from her mother since she disappeared from the Yokai Noble's fancy mansion.
Back from the train station all the way to her room, her mind is filled with nothing but the last few minutes she spent with Kenshin.
She didn't see any hint of greed or fear in his eyes even after knowing who she truly is.
After all, as the heir of the Kyoto Yokai faction, everyone around her treated her like an expensive fragile glass, consistently doing nothing but to compliment her and try to curry favors.
She has grown accustomed and tired of it.
So, meeting Kenshin is like breathing fresh air.
'Oh right. His LINE ID.' On the way home, Yasaka bought a phone from a nearby phone store.
She's the literal daughter of Kyoto's strongest Yokai. She has money enough to spend in whatever she desire.
Though this is the first she used human currency to buy something but knowing what she'll use it with, every penny is worth it.
"Now, how do I install this LINE…" She muttered to herself as she started working on the smartphone, making sure to learn everything about it.

"What the hell happened here?" After receiving a bunch of distress calls, the Jujutsu Sorcerers quickly sent one of their best sorcerers to investigate and handle the possible cursed spirit.
However, upon arriving, the assigned sorcerer, Kento Nanami was surprised to see such huge destruction in the place.
Not to mention, there's no residuals of curse energy in the place. Which means whatever happened here, it wasn't the doing of a cursed spirit.
'Did a storm break out here? No, that's impossible, the damage looks more like a battle broke out instead of a storm.' Nanami started to analyze and investigate.
There was a bus full of unconscious people, Nanami hasn't woken any of them up as he could tell from a distance that some sort of technique was used to knock everyone out.
In fact, it wasn't just the people on the bus, but also everyone in the vicinity, people in the buildings, homes and even on the street.
"It's like someone casted a Curtain but one with an effect that could knock humans out." Nanami muttered to himself as he went around and started asking the people who stumbled upon the accident.
"I don't know man. When I got off the train this morning and got here, I thought I was in some kind of dream!"
"I don't know. I just got here."
"I'm telling you man! It's those damn governments! I can already smell the conspiracy around here. Must be some kind of new weapon they're developing and decided to test it on their own people!"
"If only I arrived much earlier than the others and saw a bunch of unconscious people lying on the ground, I might've done something I would regret."
"Excuse me but I think whoever did this are the devils!"
***
Rubbing his temples, Nanami resisted the urge to punch a bunch of idiots who gave nothing but an idiotic answer.
"How troublesome. Investigating this would be hard." Nanami fixed his glasses and gathered his composure.
"You're right, troublesome indeed." Without any hesitation, Nanami grabbed his cursed tool and slashed behind him.
Fwoom!
Only for the blade to stop a few inches away from the target's face.
"Satoru. What are you doing here?" Seeing it was the white-haired idiot, Nanami sighed and retracted his cursed tool.
"Good morning to you too, Nanami-san!" Satoru gave a toothy grin and waved his hand.
"Sigh. Did Principal Masamichi sent you?" Nanami tucked his cursed tool back to its place.
"Not exactly. I came here on my own accord." Satoru shrugged his shoulders and replied.
"After reading the case about this, I was hooked. After all, not everyday you get to investigate something unnatural that even cursed energy couldn't explain." Leaning on the wall, Satoru quipped.
Nanami, sharp as ever, quickly caught on.
"Are you saying. It's 'their' doing?" Nanami pushed his glasses and squinted his eyes at Satoru's claim.
"Yes. I'm sure you already know about it, right? That humans and Jujutsu sorcerers aren't the only residents in our dear planet Earth…" Satoru wiggled his eyebrows at Nanami who simply ignored him.
"Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, Gods, Yokais, Elves, Dwarves, Fairies, all the mythological creatures and beings written in our history is real and they exist." Nanami repeated the same exact words that the Principal of Jujutsu High told him after graduating.
"At first, I didn't believe his words but after encountering several cases where neither Cursed Energy or Cursed Spirits are involved, especially right now, I'm starting to believe him now."
Nanami sighed before taking out a cigarette, and snapped his fingers in front of the cigarette's tip, where a flash of black flame appeared the moment his finger came in contact with the cigarette's tip, effectively lighting up the cigarette.
"You know. You're the only guy around who uses Black Flash to light his cigarette…" Seeing such an amusing sight, Satoru couldn't help but chuckle.
"Everyone have their own preferences. I just like the smell of a cigarette lit using Black Flash." Nanami retorted and quickly changed the topic.
"By the way. So what should we do now? This incident is clearly beyond my pay grade. There's no way I'll get myself involved in something complicated. My Jujutsu Sorcerer job is already complicated enough."
"Don't worry. I know someone who would be able to help us…" With a grin, Satoru pulled a brown parchment out of his pocket before showing it to Nanami.
"….What am I looking at?" Nanami raised an eyebrow.
"I got this from someone who was approached by a weird guy. Said that they could fulfill his wish using this paper." Now that Nanami had taken a good look at it, he noticed the weird symbol etched on it.
"And?"
"Well, if what that guy said is true. I'll have my 'wish' fulfilled." Satoru waved the parchment around.
"Yeah right, as if there's anyone in the world who can fulfill your wish." Nanami snickered, knowing full well that if there's someone who can fulfill Satoru Gojo's wish, it would be no one but Satoru Gojo himself.
"Don't be like that, Nanami-san. We haven't seen the service yet and you're already giving them a one-star review~" Satoru joked.
"So how about it? Want to have our wishes fulfilled?" Satoru invited him.
Silence ensued between the two of them before it was broken by a sigh from Nanami.
"…Fine. But let's make it quick. I want to go home already."
"You just started and you're already tired? Talk about unhealthy habit, Nanami-san."
"Shut up."

Oblivious to the chain of butterfly events happening in the outside world, the main character of the story, Kenshin, woke up just in time to witness a scene that will forever haunt his mind.
His little sister, Tomoko was creeping around his room, in her hand was an underwear of his that she probably got from his basket of dirty clothes.
"…" For a moment, they both stared at each other.
"Good morning?" Tomoko smiled and waved her hand.
That was all it took before Kenshin exploded in rage.
"What the hell do you think you're doing in my.room and with my underwear in your hand, you pervert!"
"Wait wait! I-It's for my research! My teacher told me to create a thesis about male underwear!"
"What do you mean research?! The school hasn't even started yet and since when did junior high school teachers started giving thesis assignments!?"
