Hogwarts: Legacy of the Necromancer

Chapter 172: Chapter 172: The Auto-Quill Writing Weapon

The Sixth Sense is a film from 1999, falling under the supernatural thriller genre.

The story revolves around a nine-year-old boy who claims he can see the dead. A psychologist tries to help him but is initially rejected, as the boy believes no one can truly help him escape his current state.

Persistently, the psychologist works to reach him, eventually gaining his trust. The boy opens up and slowly begins to accept the doctor's advice.

What the psychologist initially believed to be a mental illness begins to reveal itself as something far more unusual.

The film's ending is extremely unexpected—because there really are ghosts around the boy.

Regulus Black thought of this film because it would be released in a few years' time; writing it now would be ahead of schedule. But then, who would be considered the original author would be a matter worth discussing.

From Regulus Black's perspective, although he loved The Sixth Sense, he disagreed with some of its finer details. As a reincarnator, if he couldn't produce a "better original" than the version he remembered, he'd rather not do it at all.

Looking at the golden-eyed loli Sarah Medani sketching with her pen, inspiration struck Regulus—what if the little boy in The Sixth Sense were replaced by a little girl?

Sarah adorably waved her pen in front of him as she translated the measurements into her sketch. Regulus Black's facial features had already been outlined—she was now working on the nose and mouth.

Regulus, expressionless as always, cooperated fully.

Meanwhile, the auto-quill began writing out the story Regulus had imagined.

And so, the two of them—one sketching, one writing—sat in silence from noon to night without a single word, yet in a perfectly harmonious rhythm.

"Kreacher."

Regulus Black softly called out, and with a pop!, Kreacher appeared in the room.

"Master Black, Kreacher is at your service."

Upon arriving, Kreacher scanned the room and gave Sarah Medani a hideous grin.

Thanks to three years of reconditioning, Kreacher had finally broken the habit of throwing himself at people's feet and kissing their shoes upon meeting them.

"Kreacher, prepare dinner for us. Miss Sarah needs to watch her figure, so make it suitable for a lady. I'm not picky."

Regulus had summoned Kreacher specifically to stay and have dinner here, which made Sarah quite happy.

After all, ever since they'd confirmed their relationship and she joined the Black family, this was the first time Regulus had taken the initiative to stay. Perhaps he'd even spend the night. Though Sarah was hopeful, she didn't dare ask directly.

Regulus glanced at the little girl's expression and instantly understood what she was thinking. Spending the night wasn't out of the question.

In the magical world of wizards, many things were ridiculously convenient. Take the auto-quill, for example—it could transcribe thoughts directly onto paper. Rewriting or copying was merely a matter of using more parchment.

Upon first acquiring it, the quill could memorize its user's writing habits and mimic their handwriting with perfect accuracy. And if the user had poor handwriting, it could simply pull standard fonts from any magical book.

This quill alone was a note-taking master.

But wizards never really worried about handwriting, since authentication relied on spells and magical energy—not signatures. Just think of how Gilderoy Lockhart once had Harry Potter sign things for him, and you'll get a sense of how casually wizards treat signatures.

To Regulus Black—once a mundane Muggle shut-in—the auto-quill was nothing short of a wordsmith's weapon. With such a tool, writing ten thousand words a day was effortless; you just had to think it, and it appeared. The only real concern was whether you'd run out of ideas.

But for Regulus, writer's block was never an issue. Between his experiences over three years in the wizarding world and his previous Muggle life, if he couldn't even adapt a story he'd seen before, then he might as well just dive back into the Black Lake and stay undead forever.

And in just half a day, The Sixth Sense: Golden-Eyed Loli was complete.

In the kitchen, Kreacher had finished preparing dinner. It wasn't overly grand, but it was exquisitely arranged.

"Kreacher, dinner looks wonderful. I'm quite satisfied. One more thing—take this manuscript to Lucy."

Regulus gestured toward the stack of completed pages. Lucy Piddle would know exactly what to do with it.

"Kreacher will go right away! Kreacher will deliver it to Lucy Piddle."

With a snap of his fingers, the slightly scattered pages organized themselves neatly. Holding the bundle, Kreacher vanished from the room.

"I'll be staying the night. There are some things I want to talk with you about."

Regulus said while eating, causing Sarah's face to flush as she took a sip of juice.

The two finished dinner in an increasingly flirtatious atmosphere. During the meal, Regulus casually asked about Sarah's preferences—clothing, food, colors, hobbies. By the end, he had practically mapped out everything about this charming golden-eyed girl.

Their conversation helped Sarah relax considerably.

Even the finest meals come to an end. Regulus asked Sarah to wash up while he cleaned the kitchen.

"Tidy up! Sparkle clean!"

With just a flick of his wand, Regulus had the kitchen spotless—every trace of grease and grime gone.

"Sarah, have you ever considered joining the film industry?"

Regulus called out to the little girl, who was showering.

"Of course! Who wouldn't want to be a star? If Regulus supports me, I'll do my best!"

Sarah's voice came clearly through the curtain. She had been modeling for a while, so she wasn't unfamiliar with fashion or entertainment. But she also knew the price that had to be paid to break into those circles.

If she wanted to protect herself, she couldn't expect to make big money. That was just the hard truth.

"You're the female lead in the manuscript I just wrote. I think you should look into professional acting guides and books to study."

Regulus then undressed and joined her in the tub, sliding into the warm water beside her.

"I'm afraid I won't do well… I've never acted before, and now I'd be the lead…"

Sarah's face flushed even redder as she caught sight of Regulus's toned, lean body and… the unmentionable. She lowered her head, seemingly in shame over her lack of acting skill—though in truth, it was just embarrassment.

"You're doing great already! Acting's not as hard as you think—but not as easy either."

Regulus poured a bottle of milk bath into the tub, turning the clear water milky white. Now only their heads were above the surface, helping Sarah feel less self-conscious.

"With me around, none of the nastiness from those circles will touch you. Just focus on doing your best. As for acting skills—don't forget, I'm a wizard. A simple hypnosis spell can easily enhance your performance, letting you become someone completely new."

Relieved, Sarah finally let go of her worries. She didn't want to be accused of relying solely on Regulus's support without any real talent—it would hurt both her and disappoint the man supporting her.

Now free of her burdens, the golden-eyed loli was already planning out her study schedule.

And beneath the cover of the milky water, she reached her foot forward—toward that unmentionable place. As her foot made contact, something soft began to harden…
