Hiruzen persuaded me to die

Chapter 116: Chapter 114 – The Hand That Grabs a Tailed Beast

"Then… what is that!?"

The Konoha and Kirigakure shinobi watching from afar felt their lungs tighten. Breathless. Frozen. Staring.

Even if ALFY's Shin: Susenju had shocked them earlier...

What now stood before them utterly eclipsed imagination.

A colossal Buddha, easily over a thousand meters tall, loomed above the battlefield. Clouds circled its head. Mountains below appeared like mere rocks. Forests? Moss.

"This… is this really ninjutsu?" someone muttered in disbelief.

The previous Wooden Golem—just over 100 meters—had already been terrifying.

Back in the last war, some of these same Konoha shinobi had seen Uchiha Shisui and Fugaku summon towering Susanoo avatars, matching Tailed Beasts in raw strength.

But this?

This... was divine.

In the swirling void of Kamui, three figures watched the scene through a rift in space.

Uchiha Obito's expression twisted in rage and disbelief. "No… No way! How can he do this?!"

He had read it before—Madara's personal notes. The ultimate move of Senju Hashirama.

Shin: Susenju – Buddha on Top.

The Buddha described was the size of a mountain—its hands uncountable, its power peerless.

Exactly like what stood now under Naraku's control.

Obito's voice cracked with fury. "How can that damn Hyuga be this strong?!"

He had inherited Madara's eyes.

He had awakened Kamui Mangekyō.

He was supposed to be the chosen one—yet the reality crushed his pride.

Even Minato, who once beat him, was dead now.

And Naraku? Naraku had surpassed him in raw power.

"I thought we could use the First Hokage's power to kill him," Obito growled. "But now—he's using it better than we ever could."

"…His version might not surpass the First Hokage," Black Zetsu said quietly after a long silence. "But it's close."

He had seen Hashirama's original move at the Valley of the End decades ago. It had left an unforgettable mark in his mind.

Even Black Zetsu, manipulator of centuries, couldn't hide the crack in his confidence.

"That's impossible…" he muttered. "A Hyuga… reaching the level of Hashirama…?"

"Maybe… maybe the statue isn't as strong," he added—more to himself than anyone else. "But either way… he must die here."

Obito nodded coldly, his eyes shifting toward the battlefield—and to the Three Tails Isobu, lurking in the water nearby.

They couldn't allow Naraku to live any longer.

On the battlefield.

White Zetsu—ALFY— stood frozen before the divine construct. His warped thoughts tried to make sense of the Buddha's size.

Then, a voice echoed from above—calm, mocking, all-powerful.

"What's wrong? Not going to continue?"

ALFY tilted his head fully upward just to glimpse Naraku standing atop the Buddha's head like a god peering down on insects.

"…Damn it…"

Naraku smirked.

"How about I let you have a hundred hands?"

"You arrogant bastard!!" ALFY roared. "You think I'm weak?!"

His own Shin: Susenju, over 300 meters tall, activated again. From its five secondary Buddha heads burst streams of Fire, Lightning, Water, Wind, and Earth—a full elemental barrage!

But the thousand-meter-high Buddha didn't flinch.

Not a step.

Not a guard.

A casual wave of its arm dispersed the jutsu like smoke in the wind.

"…That's all?"

Naraku's voice cut through the sky like a blade.

"I suppose it's my turn, then."

With a thunderous step, Naraku's Senju Buddha moved.

BOOM.

Every motion shattered the land.

Mountains crumbled underfoot.

Trees broke like twigs.

ALFY's jaw clenched. He knew—his own creation would not survive a direct clash.

Still, he forced it forward. A desperate charge.

BOOM! BOOM!

A collision of titans!

But it wasn't a contest.

ALFY's towering statue—once impressive—looked like a child's toy in front of Naraku's divine construct. It was utterly outmatched in scale, strength, and speed.

"AHHHH!"

ALFY screamed as his Buddha's arms were broken, one after another, under the barrage of godlike fists.

Naraku hadn't even used half of his Buddha's limbs.

"This is what you call the First Hokage's ultimate technique?" Naraku said coldly. "Pitiful."

He raised more arms.

CRASH!

With terrifying rhythm, the Buddha pulverized ALFY's statue piece by piece. Cracks ran down its body. One final blow shattered its chest completely.

Suddenly—

A roar from the distance.

The Three Tails burst forward, spinning like a giant armored top.

Naraku's Byakugan tracked the movement. He scoffed.

"A single Tailed Beast dares charge me?"

With no urgency, the Senju Buddha bent forward.

SWOOSH.

A single, massive hand reached out—and caught the Three Tails mid-charge.

Caught it.

The hulking, armored beast—hundreds of tons—froze in the Buddha's grip like a doll.

No resistance.

No damage to the Buddha's hand.

Inside the Three Tails' consciousness, Yagura screamed.

"What's he doing?!"

Even Isobu was panicking.

"This can't be happening! I'm a tailed beast!"

But before it could react—

It was lifted into the sky.

And then—

SWUNG.

BOOM!!

The Senju Buddha hurled the Three Tails like a sandbag across the battlefield.

It slammed into a distant mountain, shattering it on impact.

The earth trembled violently. The shockwave split the shoreline. The sky turned gray with dust.

Even with its heavy armor and chakra, the Three Tails lay embedded in the earth—motionless.

The shinobi watching from a distance stood paralyzed.

"…He… picked up a Tailed Beast…"

"…and threw it…"

They blinked.

The scene was so surreal it felt like a genjutsu.

But it was real.

It happened—before their very eyes.

And above it all, atop the thousand-armed Buddha—

Naraku stood unmoving, a god amongst mortals.
