Highschool DxD: The Fanon Maker

[3rd POV]

"What about him? We understand that he is within the city hiding, but what else is there to know?" Irina asked, as Morgan looked at her like she was dumb, which Morgan was really beginning to think was a fact at this point.

"I mean that we need to speak on his power, his resources, and the like. I have information that he has a large force of rogue fallen angels on his side, with the strongest of them ranging from middle class to high class entities. He also has dozens of rogue exorcists, and potentially other rogue entities that wish to restart the Great War, like I said earlier" Morgan explained as she had to repeat herself for the idiot.

"Well if we can't defeat him by ourselves, we have you, don't we? You'll be able to kill him easily enough if the rumors regarding your power level is anything to go by" Irina replied with a shrug, as Morgan let out an annoyed groan.

"I understand that, and I can defeat him easily enough. No, what I am speaking of is the fact that the man is not one to fight unprepared, especially not when he knows for a fact that a Satan Class entity is in the very same city that he wishes to destroy, and is close to the very same Heiresses that he wishes to kill to restart the Great War" Morgan replied, as the group all looked at her in confusion.

"What could he possibly do that would make him as strong as you? Or even a threat to you? I mean, even Rias - no offense - could defeat him with relative ease, and you're someone who could fight and defeat Serafall with a little difficulty" Issei said with a frown not liking the fact that this man might actually have a way of being that strong.

"Well...there are a couple of ways he can, and if he does what I think he might and gets involved with certain people, then he will likely be a threat to even me. And even if he doesn't, it's best to be prepared for anything and not get blindsided because of our own arrogance and idiocy" Morgan responded, as they all nodded in understanding.

"So how do we plan for something we know nothing about? I understand that he's going to be coming here, to the Academy where Sona and Rias are, but what do we do to prepare for that? Especially if he has other things up his sleeve. And that isn't even talking about his Excalibur fragments which are a huge threat to Sona and Rias, alongside their peerages" Issei asked, it was a genuinely important question, and a good one at that.

"We prepare the best we possibly can, and hope that he doesn't bring out anything too crazy. And if he does, I'll be prepared for it, trust me" Morgan replied, as she had abilities that could counter pretty much anything he could bring out to fight her, well...almost anything. If he brought out a God or something...that could be a problem, even for someone like her.

There were a few Gods that could be a threat to her, and most of them would be willing to work with Kokabiel with the right payment, and she wasn't sure if she could actually win against any of them. Maybe if she went all out with everything she had, but that...would probably not end well for Japan or most of the world for that matter.

"And how do we prepare? What do we do to fight against something that can harm you?" Akeno asked, acting serious for once, as this was one of those situations that teasing and doing her usual simply won't work in this case, not right now.

"You train of course! I've already been training all of you to become stronger than before, but now that training will just have to increase more. I'll also be teaching you all how to fight and handle the power of someone like him, and how to counter the negative effects of light energy on a devils physiology" Morgan replied with a grin, as they all began to pale. Her training was already brutal, but with this? It was going to be at an entirely different level of difficulty.

"Hmph, I'm sure we can handle some mere training, nothing we haven't done before" Xenovia said with a smirk, while the others looked at her before shaking their heads, knowing that she just made a grave mistake, as Morgan looked at her with a wider grin.

"Really? Well, I'll have to make sure to make it even more difficult for you!"

At those words, Xenovia stopped as she noticed the looks she was receiving from everyone besides Irina, and the bright grin on Morgan's face, so bright that it was almost eerie. And as she saw all of this, Xenovia felt a shudder travel through her.

'...Why do I feel like I just made a mistake?'

"I have made a grave mistake" Xenovia said bluntly to herself as she struggled to stand, upon her figure was hundreds of pounds worth of weight, the gravity weights, and even a new seal that Morgan had produced for training.

It was a seal that would limit the amount of demonic energy, light energy, or whatever else one can use to 10% of their normal reserves, allowing for their training with that energy, and their training in general, to be far more proficient than before, almost double. It was a great boon to her peerage, and now it was helping the others as well.

They hated her right now, but it would prove its worth soon. Especially in the case of Xenovia and Irina who were weak, weaker than even the weakest members of Morgan's peerage, especially when it came to physical attributes.

"They're improving, but slowly" Grayfia said at her side, her maid uniform still on, as she was effectively Morgan's maid now.

"Mmm, it's slow going, but they should be improving fast enough to deal with the small fry. I'll be able to deal with Kokabiel...at least I hope so" Morgan replied, not knowing what sort of trick the man has up his sleeve. He had a feeling it would involve the Khaos Brigade, but who knows if he brought out other more dangerous tricks.

"And if they aren't ready?" Grayfia asked, as Morgan looked at her before humming.

"Then I'll have to call in the entire peerage, and I do mean all of them. And if it really comes down to it, Tia can be called in too" Morgan replied, as her full peerage hadn't even been revealed yet, with only her peerage members themselves knowing about the full might of her peerage.

"Do you really think Kokabiel will have the ability to threaten us like that? I have met the man before, and he is not nearly strong enough to combat us" Grayfia asked, genuinely curious why her master was so concerned about the man.

"I don't think the current him can threaten us, but I think that he might be getting the aid of a third party, one that has more than enough power to threaten us if they get involved, and should the leader of this third party involve itself...well, we'd be better off just ending ourselves than even try to fight them" Morgan said, knowing that Ophis was...well, impossible for her to fight, at least right now.

The only possible chance she would have is a poison powerful enough to harm her, like Samael's poison which was very strong against dragons, and while it would not kill her, it would weaken Ophis by quite a lot. That weakening might give her the chance of at least surviving, but without that? Yeah she'd be killed in an instant.

"Their leader is that powerful? How do you know of them?" Grayfia asked, alarmed.

"I know of them because Rainel had the leader's mark after I killed him. I've also been tracking their movements as of recent. They're getting prepared for...something, and they're involved with pretty much every rogue group from every faction in the world" Morgan replied, as Grayfia breathed in.

"And who do you believe this leader is?" Jeanne asked, as she was also watching the group train. Hearing the question, Morgan sighed.

"...I believe their leader is the Infinite Dragon God, Ophis Ouroboros" Morgan said, as their eyes widened in shock, with Grayfia paling. Ophis was an entity that could wipe out every faction by herself with ease, you'd have to have the entire world ally together to have a chance of defeating her, or perhaps have the Great Dream himself come and beat her, as he was the only being stronger than her...that they know of.

There was another, but Morgan was not interested in interacting with it, if anything, she was hoping to stop Rizevim from releasing the damn thing. And she also didn't want him to bring out beings that are even stronger from far beyond the dimensional gap, beings known as "ExE" but they...were a completely different topic that she would not bring up unless Rizevim somehow called them here like he did in canon.

"O-Ophis? You-you're certain of this?" Grayfia asked, in a rare showing of genuine fear. Everyone feared Ophis, everyone. Only Great Red himself wasn't afraid of the power the woman possessed, well, him and anyone who was psychotic like Rizevim.

"I am confident that they are the leader of the group, or are at least related to it in some way. Rainel had the Ouroboros symbol come out of his body, one of their snakes that they seemingly can give to someone to make them stronger. Had he not had it, I would have been able to kill him far sooner" Morgan replied with a nod, as Grayfia let out a breath.

"Alright, we'll have to alert Lord Lucifer and the other Satans. They have to know about this, Morgan-sama" Grayfia said as Morgan nodded in understanding, before replying to her.

"We'll have to tell them after we deal with Kokabiel. I don't want to cause a fuss without being absolutely certain that the Infinite Dragon is involved with all of this. Because if they truly are...then we'll need to prepare some countermeasures" Morgan replied.

"What counter measures could possibly work against a Dragon God? She's the most powerful being in existence, with only Great Red being stronger!" Jeanne exclaimed as Morgan looked at her.

"Calm yourself, Jeanne. And as for how to deal with her...I've got a few ideas. All of them involving very very powerful poisons that I have been creating, poisons that have the same anti-dragon properties of Samael's poison, but...well, a lot stronger, several times stronger in fact" Morgan responded. Grayfia looked surprised at this, as while she knew her master could utilize poison and regularly trained her peerage in using and understanding them (including her) she did not realize that she had poisons of such a level of strength.

"But these poisons aren't complete, not yet. There are some...things I need in order to bring out the full power of the poison that I wish to create, things that I simply don't have yet. I hope to gain them soon, though" Morgan said, as she inwardly was hoping that she could get something involving poison from Fanon Maker the next time it activates, which she suspects will be soon, especially with Kokabiel showing up in the coming weeks.

Before then, she would try her best to grow to Super Class, and find any way of getting Fanon Maker uses. She needed more Anti-Divine magic and Anti-Dragon magic, and the Fairy Tail universe had thousands of magics involving them, making it the perfect way of finding a counter against Ophis.

She had also found that the anti-dragon abilities she did possess, seemed to have granted her an immunity towards any sort of weakness she would have obtained now that she has the Dragon Seed growing inside of her, meaning that becoming some sort of Devil and Dragon fusion was growing more and more appealing by the day.

And with how much she was training her dragon slayer magics, she suspected it wouldn't take long for it to bloom. Especially not with her having several forms of dragon slayer magic.

"...Okay, just make sure to tell us if you need any sort of help with this endeavor. I'm certain that the Satan's will aid you should you ask for it, and I will do anything in my power to help you, master" Grayfia said, as Morgan smiled softly at her Queen, pressing a kiss against her cheek as the woman blushed slightly.

"Thank you, love, I'll make sure to ask if I need any" Morgan said, as she looked back to the training that was happening right in front of her, one thought on her mind as she did so.

'...It's time to up the ante!'

Morgan will likely be receiving quite a few powerups in the coming chapters, as she works hard to grow in power, and obtain more usages of the Fanon maker. She will also be acquiring new powers and abilities not connected to her gift, so that'll be shown off sooner or later.
