Chapter 102: Victory
"There you are!" Feng Shen yelled.
The Jihaguk Daejeok appeared from the depths of its complete invincibility, its towering form emerging.
The creature's nine heads were in sync, each one fixated on the human falling with them.
Feng Shen, unwilling to waste any more time or hear any more noise, began stepping on the broken pieces of the floor.
As his feet made contact, the shattered pieces began to repair themselves, rising back up like fragments of a puzzle assembling on their own.
Feng Shen leaped from one piece to another, using the crumbling structure as his personal springboard, each jump propelling him higher and higher.
A moment later, he shot himself upward, his body a blur of motion as he propelled himself toward the creature.
The Jihaguk Daejeok roared in defiance, as it watched the human dive headfirst.
All nine of the heads began to pulse with an ominous energy, each mouth glowing with intense Qi.
In an instant, the Jihaguk Daejeok unleashed a devastating attack—wide, laser-like beams of energy shot forward from each of its mouths, merging into a massive, destructive blast.
The beams tore through the air, cutting through everything in their path with unrelenting force.
The beams disintegrating all they touched, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake.
The sheer power of the attack was enough to erase everything in sight, consuming the very space around them.
However, none of this phased Feng Shen.
As the massive Qi beams barreled toward him, he took the full brunt of the attack head-on, standing unfazed as the energy hit his body.
Not a single scratch marred his body—his form remained unscathed, the beams dissipating harmlessly around him.
In an instant, Feng Shen appeared behind the creature, his expression calm and mocking.
"It really is a blessing that nothing can hurt me in the Upper Realm," he chuckled, his voice dripping with amusement.
With lightning speed, Feng Shen reached up and seized the heads that towered above the others.
In one fluid motion, he ripped them off, the force of his grip snapping them from the creature's body as easily as if they were mere twigs.
The remaining heads of the Jihaguk Daejeok were beyond enraged.
With another deafening roar, the creature's massive body surged backward, leaping with powerful force to gain distance from the human.
In a desperate attempt to fight back, the Jihaguk Daejeok tore a massive chunk of the broken floor and hurled it toward the human with terrifying strength.
The shattered debris flew through the air like a deadly projectile.
However, Feng Shen rolled his eyes as he simply jumped over it:
"Really? That's it? I expected more…"
Ignoring the human, Jihaguk Daejeok continued its assault, leaping back and forth, its massive form moving in unpredictable bursts of motion.
Each time it landed, it grabbed another piece of the floor and launched it toward the human, repeating the process in a violent cycle, hoping to overwhelm the human with sheer force.
but the results were the same…
Feng Shen effortlessly dodged the creature's attacks, weaving through the air.
It was almost like a game of tag—each leap drawing him closer to the creature.
With a sudden burst of speed, Feng Shen slipped behind the creature just as it leapt into the air, grabbing one of its massive legs in mid-motion.
With a smooth, almost casual motion, he threw the creature downward:
"Bye, bye!" Feng Shen waved.
The force of his throw sent the Jihaguk Daejeok plummeting through the floors, crashing through one after another with deafening impacts.
Each floor shattered beneath the weight of the creature, the fall seemingly endless as it descended into the depths below.
Waiting a couple of seconds and feeling no life:
"Finally… Completed this boring ass Tower."
Feng Shen looked upward and rode a large piece of the floor back upward.
When he finally arrived back at the 100th floor, the silence was deafening.
Once again, Feng Shen stood alone.
Suddenly, mechanical "ding" reverberated, breaking the silence:
A vein twitched on the Tournament Overseer's forehead as he heard the ding.
His irritation boiled over, knowing full well that this bastard of a student had officially won, despite his brazen attitude and utter disregard for honor.
The Tournament Overseer's jaw clenched, but he couldn't change the outcome. He reluctantly cleared his throat, and with great disdain, announced the results:
"Victory... the winner is Student Feng Shen! The Soaring Academy takes Round One!"
Silence…
Besides that of a single voice that erupted:
"YESSSSS!!! The Second Young Master is the absolute BEST! Did you see that!? No one can EVER defeat him! He's completely UNSTOPPABLE! He crushed these pathetic inferiors!!"
Yùn Yì leapt from her seat in pure elation.
Her eyes sparkled with adoration as she jumped up and down, completely consumed by her happiness.

Cai Xiu sank deeper into her seat, her face flushed with discomfort as the attention shifted toward them both.
Eyes narrowed with annoyance and judgment, the crowd visibly disapproved of the display, their glances cold.
"Just kill me…" Cai Xiu rubbed her forehead.
She shifted uncomfortably, wishing she could disappear from the spotlight.
Fortunately, the attention on Cai Xiu and Yùn Yì was short-lived.
As the Tower itself began to shudder, cracks forming along its once-immaculate surface.
In an instant, it shattered into countless particles, disintegrating. Its grand structure dissolving into nothingness.
The students who had been inside moments ago now appeared, stepping out of the fading remnants of the Tower.
Their expressions were all the same—defeated, exhausted, and demoralized.
They all had taken their toll, leaving them drained.
And so, the students walked in silence, shoulders slumped, their spirits crushed by the overwhelming weight of their loss.
Each one returned to their respective groups, avoiding eye contact and keeping to themselves.
Eventually, a certain student showed.
Feng Shen casually whistled to himself. With his hands clasped behind his back, he walked with an air of nonchalance.
This sparked an uproar, igniting a firestorm of dissent as everyone, except for most of the instructors, exploded in a unified cry:
"BOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
