Kailen had a smile tugging at the edge of his lips when he saw the notification of completing the berserk mission.
"Finally, some higher-ups will start paying attention to me."

Quickly, he appeared before the second mountain, under the shocked gazes of many students, paid the student credits for climbing the second mountain, then began to climb it.

It had been about 1 hour since he arrived at the Sword Conclave Mountain, and he was already at the seventh mountain.

In just an hour, the guy had reached the seventh mountain.
Due to this, the Sword Conclave Mountain was currently crowded with several students from higher years. Several Society leaders had also made an appearance to try and rope him into their societies when he was done challenging the Sword Conclave Mountain.
Of course, they were all shocked by what they were seeing.
Even Lian Yu had taken 7 hours to get to the 11th mountain, a feat everyone knew was extremely monstrous.
Yet this Kailen Darkhaven,after completing a berserk mission, was causing commotion again ,having reached the 7th mountain in just an hour challenging the Sword Conclave Mountains!

Standing beside her was Ashton, currently staring at his elder sister, the president of the Ashton Society, with a complicated expression on his face.
Not bothered that he didn't reply, Everlong asked with concern upon seeing the expression on his face, "Family drama?"
Ashton sighed and nodded. "Tell me about it. Didn't expect to run into her here."
Ashton's elder sister seemed to notice his gaze.
Her eyes snapped sharply toward him.
She sneered, then turned to focus on the holographic screen before her.
"A bitch as always." Everlong couldn't help but be irritated seeing her treat Ashton the same way she always did.
"Took the words right out of my mouth. Just ignore her," Ashton spoke with calm indifference.
It was obvious from this exchange that the two siblings were definitely not on good terms.
However, Esimo had grown used to his sister's behavior and, as always, decided to ignore her.
"Let's see for how long you're able to act tough, little brother. Unlike back at home, where Father and Mother can dote on you ,shielding you from me, this is the academy where only strength matters. I'll make sure to break that pride of yours, till you submit to me and relinquish your participation in the fight for the clan leader position," Xyra, Esimo's sister, mused inwardly.
She was glad that this bastard had finally arrived in the academy. There was no one to shield him from her, which meant that she could do all she wanted to break him.
"Pan, as unreadable as always." Jin turned to Pan, standing a few moments away from him.
"I could say the same for you. What are you doing here?" Pan replied ,shrugging casually.
"Same reason why everyone is here?" Jin said casually.
"Heh." Pan scoffed, clearly not buying the excuse. The bastard was definitely here to challenge Kailen Darkhaven to a life-or-death battle right after he descended from the Sword Conclave Mountain.
His gaze snapped toward Cimeris and Sanguine before quickly snapping back to the holographic screen before him, completely ignoring Jin and his two "lackeys."

"Sweet sister. It's always a wonderful pleasure to see you—and you as well, little Esimo. How much you've grown."
A charming masculine elf voice resounded from behind Everlong.
Everlong beamed with a smile as she turned around to face the figure she had not seen for a very long time.
"Brother."
Ignoring the gazes of several onlookers and not caring about her image in the least, she jumped into his arms.
Her brother revealed a gaze of warmth, brushing his hand through her hair.
"Missed you too, little sister." His voice was not malevolent, but full of utmost sincerity.
Esimo, observing their touching reunion, could not help but envy them.
Unlike him and his sister, whose hatred for each other was irredeemable, these two were completely different.
They were what one would refer to as the ideal siblings.
The elder brother doted on the younger sister and loved her sincerely.
And the younger sister admired the elder brother and saw him as her second dad or something.
No scheming, no evil intentions for the other, and no desire to inherit the family fortune.
