HDXD: Omni Harem System

Chapter 171: Adam Vs Alustus VII

Alustus stared at Adam, fury burning in his eyes, deeper and more vivid than ever.

But he was drained.

Using the power of his Anti-World Weapon, had severely cut into his remaining Monster Energy reserves.

As much as he wanted to lash out in rage, he understood better than anyone where he stood now.

"I'm tired of this."

He muttered coldly, then continued.

"You..that woman. All of it. To hell with this… From now on, I am pulling out all the stops."

Behind him, the ocean churned unnaturally. A massive pillar of water rise from the ocean as it began spiral behind his back.

Space was turned into water, and a portal of swirling liquid space opened up behind Alustus.

He didn't face Adam as he spoke his next words.

"I was never alone to begin with."

And with that simple truth, the tide shifted again.

From the portal, one by one, orbs of glowing purple light emerged, dozens, then hundreds, eventually thousands began crossing over into the area their battle had taken place.

Adam narrowed his eyes at the sight, counting them… until he realized he couldn't anymore.

Too many came spewing out too fast.

The Sidhe were coming in like a army of mosquito's.

"Your Majesty! Where did you go?"

One of the small Sidhe called out, her voice chirping like a child's

"Yeah, yeah, there was a big explosion, BOOM! BOOM! Hahaha... Are we going to see more?!"

A male one asked excitedly.

Then another floated up beside him, concerned.

"You look drained, my King…

"Is Father hurt? Who hurt Father?"

Asked another.

Then one turned to Adam, pointing.

"Was it you that hurt father."

Suddenly, every summoned Sidhe turned their eyes on him. Their expressions shifted. The air around them thickened.

Adam could feel their bloodlust.

The weight of a hundred monster stares drilled into him like knives.

The Sidhe much like the Shoggoths where a B-Rank race, initially that was their previous ranking.

But after Alustus became king, with the aid of his System, the Sidhe became more akin to an A-class race.

Their weakest soldier had enough power to decimate multiple cities in one go if they go all out.

Leaving nothing but chaos in their wake, together they could bring about the end of the world itself if spread across the mass population.

Given if they where in the Human World, and left as is to begin with.

But even then, Adam did not falter nor did he fear them, even together they where not as strong as Alustus himself.

A lesser being would've collapsed under the pressure, but Adam stood firm. Even still, deep down, he knew this was trouble, well to an extent at least.

He hadn't wanted it to escalate like this. If there was a way to avoid fighting all of them at once, he would've taken it. But at this point… that was a fantasy.

A fool's hope would be a better term to use here.

Adam clenched his jaw, looking past the Sidhe and straight at Alustus.

"What a coward you are."

He said flatly.

Alustus just laughed at this, and replied back by saying.

"....What was it that you said, hate the game not the player."

"Tshhh!!"

Adam's annoyance flared up in that moment, and with it, his Monster Energy surged, expanding like a black storm.

It rolled across the sky like the end of the world.

The Sidhe recoiled instinctively.

All except Alustus of course.

As they have never seen someone with this much power before, even their king was not this strong.

"Is… is he one of us?"

One asked, voice trembling as it stared at Adam's compact form.

However he soon dismissed the thought when he saw his other charctheristics that the Sidhe race didn't have unless he was a variant of some kind.

"He is strong... Too strong."

"I… I don't want to fight him."

Another whispered.

"I don't want to die…

That last thought echoed across their ranks. Some started backing away in fear. But fear was a betrayal, and betrayal of their King was death among their people.

To them the kings words, and safety was absolute.

He and he alone came first in the eyes of the Sidhe race.

So they forced their feet forward.

For Alustus.

Their loyalty alone carried them forward, as there combine power began to radiate across the entire battlefield.

Even as Adam filled them with something ancient and primal, this being that filled them to brim with apprehension and unease, the terror of prey before an unstoppable predator would not stop them from protecting their king.

And if their conquered fear wasn't enough, Alustus's voice rang out like the lash of whip, cutting deep into their very souls, igniting their warrior spirit, and monsterous souls, and all his subject's heard him loud and clear.

"My precious children… eradicate this man. Bring me his head, and the one who kills him will be personally rewarded by me, go now and fight till the end, fight for me your king."

That was all the push they needed.

And so they came.

Like a nest of supercharged hornets. They began to swarm Adam.

From every angle, the sky above, the sea below, the frontlines ahead, they surged like a tsunami of bodies and will.

Adam simply watched this, as he began to steady his breathing, his many fights with Nyx and Minerva.

The two lovely ladies who thought him martial arts and wepaon mastery flash back before him, as he began to remember his training.

He exhaled, black feathers bristling, his bone-forged blades gleaming with a chilling frost began to get colder.

"…Here they come."

He muttered to himself quietly.

And then he move, his body shooting across the sky like meteor flying through space.

His black wings exploded outward, creating a sonic boom that surpass sound fifty times over.

Sending deafening shockwaves through the air.

His swords began to glow with red lighting, and scar the air with trails of frost.

Then he coated their edges in razor-sharp feathers, the black blades of flight leaving his back and fussing with his natrual weapon like a second skin, each one vibrating with a hunger to kill.

They didn't even see him when Adam move, to them he was like blur that just past them all.

Only the screams of their brethren echoed in the distance.

"AHHHHHHH!"

Blood sprayed in all directions as Adam cleaved through the first Sidhe.

His blade carved straight through the creature's neck, red lightning destroying the very concept of his flesh that his blade cut through as it freezes the afflicted area as well.

The poor female Sidhe head spun through the air like a spinning top, landing with a wet thud on the giant stone wave, as blood sprayed out from her neck like a fountain, coating everyone near her in red.

Then the butchery began.

Yet again, with unmatched speed, and enhanced condition, he was nothing more but a blur of motion, each slash precise, violent, and utterly final.

He tore through them like a reaper among wheat, limbs hacked off, torsos split open, bone fragments and guts raining from the sky.

One Sidhe screamed as Adam cut off its arms, then its legs, before plunging both freezing cold electric blades into its mouth and dragging it downward, splitting its skull in half like a melon, as the lightning erase him further.

All wounds made by Adam were unhealable, as his feathers drank their blood and increased the rate of bleeding. It didn't matter if they had anything capable of healing them.

Black Swarm ensured that all wounds stayed open and worsened over time, especially the closer Adam remained to them. It goes without saying, even less-than-fatal blows inevitably resulted in horrific injuries.

Getting hit by Adam in any manner, critical or not, as long as he drew blood, meant certain death.

Minutes turn into hours, and the Sidhe didn't stop, they keep coming from the portal not giving him a break.

Meanwhile Adam watched Alustus, he was mediating a familiar woman healing him.

It was the halfbreed succubus, he had to get through this wave but with so much constantly targeting him, that was easier said than done.

Still he fought his way through, hundreds, then thousands of them, killing them one by one, group by group with his sword skill, martial arts, and minimal ability use.

He didn't hesitate, woman, or man alike his blade sank through their flesh with unmatched skill.

He teleported through their attacks, beams of pressurized water slicing through empty air.

Each strong enough to total an entire town off a map, if it landed dead center on it.

He keeps teleporting, and reappeared in the center of another cluster and exploded outward, spinning in a cyclone of blades and blood.

Gore painted the battlefield.

Bodies piled up.

Screams turned to gurgles.

Some Sidhe tried to flee, only to find themselves impaled from behind by a feather-formed spike, or decapitated in mid-flight, their heads still wearing expressions of shock, and fear.

The sky rained body parts.

Meat.

That's all they were to Adam, annoying meat-bags.

"Ahhhhhh...

But even Adam had his limits.

"This is taking too long...

He shouted in annoyance as he continues to slice his way through the great hoard even more.

Then it hit him.

"Wait....

He said coming to a pause.

"Yes... I could try that. I've never used Memory Point to traverse time before, despite being capable of it... Hmm."

"Yeah, it is time I even the odds. I alone can handle this swarm... So what if there were two of me? One from the past, and one from the future."

As he cut down more Sidhe, a menacing smile crept across his face.

As he realize a way to finally win this.

With that in mind, he teleported, moving across both time and space, as he entire an earlier stage of the existing Timeline.

Green light flash, and with that he was gone from this world completely.

FLASHHHH!!

A green light entered the vicinity, however no one saw him, as he made sure to teleport far away from his past self.

He would interact him later, while he continued dealing with the Sidhe swarm.

For now he wanted to even the odds.

Currently Adam went two hours into the past, right around the time the halfbreed came to heal Alustus. He vanished from the current timeline, stepping into linear time two hours earlier.

But at this moment he teleported, near Alustus using Anti-Energy manipulation on himself to hide his presence and also heat manipulation to manipulate the light around him.

Making him invisible, for an extra layer of stealth he use illusion to make himself air to any who could sense him.

Meanwhile, as Adam approach closer to the battlefield he saw Alustus had taken a meditative pose, trying to reclaim his stamina.

Slowly, he converted miasma from the atmosphere into Monster Energy, refilling his reserve.

"I need Berreta to help me recover. Little one, come here."

He called out to one of his loyal subjects.

A small Sidhe floated over and replied.

"Yes, Father."

She was one of his many offspring, a low A-Rank existence.

"Go back to the castle and bring Berreta. She should be done healing Alcey. That bastard's going to be occupied for a while. I need to restore my energy... And fast while you guys keep him bussy so I can replenish my power."

"Of course, my king. You can count on me."

With that, the tiny fairy entered a portal leading back to the castle.

Watching all this unfold, Adam grind his teeth in frustration and muttered.

"Not on my watch."

Like a predator stalking its prey, he teleported, headed straight for the castle.

And when he arrived he saw thousands of Sidhe all pilling up, to enter the portal, it left Adam perplexed as to how they are so much of them.

But either way he saw the Sidhe Alustus had ordered to fetch Berreta for him, she flew deeper into the castle, and Adam followed her without her noticing.
