Chapter 154: Harry ascends and Naruto follows
The air in Mount Myōboku turned heavy—thick with an oppressive, primordial force that made even the natural energy of the land quiver. The ancient trees seemed to bend away from the epicenter where Harry stood, his eyes closed, his breath steady but deep.
Naruto watched intently from the sidelines, eyes sharp, Sage Mode active. Even Kurama, sealed within him, stirred uneasily. "What… is he doing, Naruto?" the fox's voice was laced with both curiosity and unease.
"I don't know…" Naruto answered aloud, "But it's huge."
Fukasaku and Shima clung to a rock formation, their eyes wide and their amphibious bodies trembling from the sheer pressure of the unknown energy.
Suddenly—
A pulse.
Then a second.
Harry's body shifted.
His skin began to pale, losing all color until it became a smooth, porcelain white. His hair followed, lengthening and cascading down his back in a shining river of pure white strands, reaching his lower back—ethereal, untamed.
Then—his eyes snapped open.
Rinnegan. The spiraling rings of divinity replaced his pupils, but it wasn't over—
A slit formed on his forehead. A third eye, cold and sharp, opened—Rinne Sharingan. The pattern within glowed with ancient, cosmic knowledge.
Behind him, black orbs of primal destruction—Truth-Seeking Orbs—hovered silently, their presence a whisper of both creation and annihilation. Yet they felt different, darker, deeper.
His form shifted again, and with a soft hum of pure power—his Soul King Form merged with his Sage of Six Paths state.
A moment of silence.
Then—
The pressure mounted. Harry's body… cracked. Veins of golden light, like fracturing porcelain, split across his skin. His divinity—raw and boundless—was too much, as if he were a container no longer fit to hold the magnitude of his being.
With a sudden shatter, his form dissolved into a swirling mass of shadow—pure, unfiltered Death Essence, the power of a God who stood beyond the cycle of life and death.
A form without shape. A presence without limit.
Naruto's heart raced. "What the hell—"
Kurama, for once, growled with fear: "This… is not mortal power, kit. It's… beyond. He's—"
And then—
The darkness folded. Reality bent and compressed, and from the abyss, he returned.
But… changed.
His form was no longer the pure white of divinity—but robed in a deep, abyssal black. The Six Paths cloak he wore was now shadow incarnate, flowing with the velvety texture of the void.
His once fully white hair now bore streaks of jet black, running through the strands like cracks in marble.
Centered on his chest, embedded where his heart should be, was the Hōgyoku—but it too had shifted. No longer purely luminous, it now swirled with both black and white, as if balancing the forces of creation and destruction.
His Truth-Seeking Orbs—once dark gray—had turned a pure, infinite black, like event horizons waiting to devour all light.
His Zanpakutō had vanished. Yet the air hummed with its presence. He no longer carried it. He *was the blade.
But it was his eyes that told the tale.
The Rinne Sharingan shifted, warping into a pattern reminiscent of a Mangekyō Sharingan, but different—deeper, darker.
Then, the rings of the Rinnegan etched themselves over the pattern, merging fully into a new singularity.
His eyes became pitch-black, darker than any night. Only the rippled rings of the Rinnegan remained—cold, endless, and etched into them—
The pattern of the Almighty.
His body now bore the mark of his magic— golden, vein-like streaks of power ran under his skin, Divine Magic incarnate, signifying his complete fusion of every power he possessed—Shinigami, Hollow, Quincy, Six Paths Sage, and Magic.
The energy around him no longer screamed or burned. It… commanded. The world itself seemed to listen, to obey the will of his very existence.
Naruto's mouth was dry. His chakra felt insignificant. "Harry…" he breathed, his voice barely audible.
The Great Toad Sage himself, from afar in the depths of his chamber, felt the shift and muttered:
"The… Beyond God."
Yet Harry's eyes, now the void of everything, softened as he gazed upon Naruto. His voice, resonant with layers of power, was still Harry's:
"...Your turn, Naruto."
The blonde shinobi, shaken but invigorated, felt his own soul answer the challenge.
"I'm not letting you have all the fun." He grinned, his Sage markings flaring brighter. "I'll catch up—believe it."
But before he could surge forward—
Harry, with a motion almost gentle, placed a hand on Naruto's chest. His eyes—those impossible, infinite eyes—glinted with purpose.
"I've got something for you," he said with a smirk. "A little… shortcut."
In his palm—a swirl of Six Paths Chakra. But within it…
A fragment of Sasuke's chakra and DNA.
Naruto's eyes widened. "Wait—what—"
Harry grinned, playful but firm. "Trust me. You've earned it."
Naruto felt the power enter his system, clashing and melding with his own. The mix of Ashura and Indra's chakra sparked a violent chain reaction inside him—power both ancient and new.
His body ignited, a roar escaping him as his chakra flared—
Cut to Black.
