Harry Potter: The Boy Loved by Beasts

Chapter 42: Diagon alley!

Diagon alley

Chapter 42: enter the hole?

The author, in an utterly disgusting tone, said, "Hey, little baby, want to drink some milk? I've got leftovers from three or four days in the fridge."

"Shut the hell up," Vira shouted, clearly annoyed. He rubbed his head with his hands before adding, "You have no idea how terrifying competent wizards can be to Muggles."

The phrase "wizarding world," as if he were going on a big journey, seemed to amuse Professor McGonagall, as she chuckled a little.

But she quickly held back her laughter and said with a slight smile on her otherwise stern face, "Well, let's go see the wizarding world!"

Then she held Vira's little hands and, taking out her wand, said, "Apparate!"

One thing to pay attention to was that Vira was holding a briefcase that was a bit bigger for his size. It was filled with around 100k pounds in £50 notes, as well as small compartments filled with gold and a few other gems.

He brought them because he considered that, even if there was a completely separate currency in the wizarding world, he could still use Muggle money to interact with those who had more interaction with the Muggle world. And gold was solid currency, so carrying a bit wouldn't hurt.

As for gems, everyone liked beauty, and judging from the only wizard he had encountered in his life, she didn't seem to have much difference in taste, appreciation, and other factors.

Although he and his gang had already classified these wizards as monsters because of their scary abilities, if looked at from another point of view, Professor McGonagall was very much human—if one could ignore the monstrous ability that made her so scary.

Either way, with these thoughts raging in his mind, he left his body in the professor's care as he held her hands tightly.

Then, as she waved her wand while saying the spell, Vira felt a sudden pressure placed upon him. He felt his perception deceiving him as the world around him started to curl up, as if to squeeze him into a bloody pulp. And seemingly responding to this sudden change, his stomach seemed to start lurching, and all the air in his lungs seemed to vanish for an instant.

Vira blinked desperately, trying to gather more information about the strange situation, but nothing was visible until the very last moment, when he caught a brief glimpse of something unusual. The world seemed to sway like clothes and stretch like rubber until he and the Professor were ejected.

Such high speed would be subject to air resistance, and the pressure from the world would have crumbled any human's body, but strangely, that didn't happen. They seemed to be in a separate dimension, one with nothing around them. Vira felt himself thrown off until his foot finally landed on solid ground, and the pressure of the world started to push against his body.

Feeling his foot on the ground, followed by the sudden light hitting his eyes, was an extremely unpleasant experience. Vira struggled to balance himself. The experience, lasting less than a second, somehow disoriented his sense of balance, making it hard to even stand still.

The solid, flat ground felt like he was balancing on a tightrope—or even worse, since Vira could easily do that. But the experience made him feel incredibly dizzy, and he ended up sitting on the wooden floor.

After sitting for a few seconds and standing up with the help of Professor McGonagall, Vira finally had the chance to experience the wonderful sensations impacting his eyes and nose.

Well, his eyes were fine; the lights weren't that bright. The place seemed to have all the windows closed, and the only source of light came from candles, which lit up the room in a comforting orange hue. The sudden change in lighting, however, was the cause of Vira's sensitive eyes feeling discomfort. The transition from the well-lit office room to the dimly lit pub was a bit unsettling.

Setting aside the discomfort in his eyes, Vira's nose was assaulted by the overwhelming scents of food. It felt like he was in a street full of restaurants and stalls, each one cooking something different, and the combination of smells was almost too much for his nose to handle. But here, it was just a bit worse—he was experiencing the smell of potions, something he had only heard about from Professor McGonagall. Each potion had its own distinct, unpleasant odor, and to Vira, they were unbearable for a single human nose to endure.

Outside of his dark mental realm, he hadn't forgotten to maintain a façade of innocence. He acted as if everything here was new and wonderful, as if it were a marvelous place. He bounced around with enthusiasm, pointing at moving portraits and strange objects as though they were fascinating. He even started to move closer to the men and women drinking, completely unaware of how his actions were attracting attention.

But Vira didn't care. His body was still as energetic as ever, and his mind didn't pay much attention to the whispers and curious gazes. He was too absorbed in his thoughts about the Apparition spell. "That must be why she was slow to react when the helicopter failed. She didn't just dodge Nicolas, but she also didn't react quickly enough to stop me from jumping. With the reaction speed she showed dodging the bullet, she could have done it all without trouble."

His mind wandered further, even as he neared the wizards and the objects of interest. He couldn't really differentiate them from normal items—just strange shapes and colors, nothing particularly fascinating.

As he continued to muse about the delayed reaction, a conversation caught his attention, pulling him from his thoughts.

Wizard A pointed at him and asked, "Did I drink too much?" He poked the wizard next to him. "Hey, isn't that the...?"

Before he could finish, Wizard B interrupted, "Impossible! I thought the same thing, but he looks too different from the magical photo in the news. Also, he can't be a wizard. He should be twelve already."

The comment silenced Wizard A, who continued to point at Vira, but now more cautiously. The conversation had drawn Vira's attention, so he stopped his act of being an energetic little kid and, without missing a beat, walked toward them.

Probably to act like a kid again and use his naive charm to extract information, Vira was about to resume his antics. But as he glanced around, he noticed Professor McGonagall, who had been observing him closely. It seemed like she thought he had looked around enough. She approached him and said:

Professor McGonagall: "Let's go to Diagon Alley now to get your things."

She took his hand gently and led him toward the back of the pub, continuing, "If you want to come again, you can ask the owner, Tom, to show you to Diagon Alley."

When they reached the brick wall directly behind the Leaky Cauldron, she added, "You just have to tap this brick while saying 'Diagon Alley.'"

With a flick of her wand, she tapped the brick, and, as if by magic, the bricks began to collapse in on themselves, defying the laws of physics. A passage large enough for three people to pass through slowly opened up.

On the other side of the small corridor, a vast landscape unfolded. The noise coming from it was so overwhelming that it felt as though Vira had been thrust into a crowded chicken coop.

The END

pls read this!

also you might have already gotten an idea by how often I keep mentioning the appreation spell and muggle experts but they will be core of viras power. Vira would be a spatal genius. After all what kind of summoner is he if he had to wait hours for his animals to apear. And as for the muggle expert they would be helpful to ensure that vira wont make a mistake and for conquring the economic and political environment of the wizarding world.

After all the backward laws and tricks in the wizarding world are no match for the muggle experts who can find loopholes in even the current laws and policies.
