Chapter 170: Chapter 168: Venom Sensei
"Was it intentional?"
Kino murmured to himself. He could only guess this was the work of the Dark Bat Group. After all, who knew the corrupt nature of the Owl Court better than them? If they didn't want greed and abuse of power to happen, this was the best way to prevent it.
Unfortunately for them, Kino wasn't normal.
The tattoo on his wrist glowed, and red magical energy laced with the aura of hell began corroding the metal in front of him.
Purifying dark energy was always troublesome—but replacing it with another corrosive aura from hell? That was far easier.
"Whoa~ Little Kiki turned into Little Red," Harley said curiously as she saw the mist swirling around Kino. She reached out to touch it.
"Harley, don't distract my dear," Pamela scolded gently and pulled her back. Green vines sprouted from the metallic wall beside them as a warning.
"Oh," Harley responded, obediently nodding.
Venom's body shifted into its battle form.
"So cool, Little Black," Harley commented in awe.
After the entire batch of metal was soaked, red patterns surfaced across it. Surprisingly stylish. Kino nodded in satisfaction.
The dark aura had been replaced with the hellish one—harmless under his control.
The pile of metal in front of him mostly consisted of Amber Gold and Dionysian Essence. He figured it could be studied by Dr. Banner and the others to see if it was still usable after the hellish corrosion.
Next was promethium. Good for weapons, but it came with genetic mutation and radiation side effects. A bit of a double-edged sword. Still, Tony might come up with something.
Kino trusted Tony's intelligence.
Then there was N-metal. Not much, but still three full crates—more than enough to craft five Hawkman suits.
The rarest was Bat Metal, a magical liquid metal like the Dionysian Essence. Only six vials of it.
No one around him practiced magic for now, but he could use it to upgrade Gwen's suit.
Maybe it would help unlock some new… positions. Gwen only agreed to normal ones—Kino's more creative ideas were always rejected.
This upgrade might change things.
"Darling, are you okay?" Pamela asked, concerned, seeing Kino standing there smiling like a fool.
"Oh, please. He's obviously thinking up some new kinky plays," Venom said knowingly.
"Don't make things up, or I'll sue you for slander," Kino huffed, lifting the processed metals and turning away with a pout.
Venom rolled its eyes and morphed into a teacher's outfit, complete with glasses. It pushed them up on its nose.
"You there, student—what did you just say?"
Faced with Venom Sensei's question, Kino lowered his head.
"Nothing... I was wrong, Teacher."
"Admitting mistakes makes you a good student. Do you think black stockings are attractive?"
"Yes."
"Teacher likes honest students."
"Then... is there a reward for honesty?"
"There is."
Venom extended its figure, growing taller than Kino, and pressed his head against its ample chest.
"How's that for a reward?"
"Thank you, Teacher! (♡㉨♡ )" Kino nuzzled happily.
Harley looked at Kino and touched her own chest."Little Red, is it really that comfortable here?"
Pamela blushed and covered her face with her hands."As long as he likes it, that's all that matters."
Suddenly, Kino snapped out of his daydream, his eyes sharp and focused on the ceiling.
"Venom!"
Venom instantly fused into Kino's body, transforming into armor.
A piercing whistle echoed from above.
A black demon crashed through the ceiling.
Before it even landed, Kino charged forward, fist clenched, and smashed it mid-air.
Boom!
The black demon flew like a cannonball, crashing into a nearby wall and embedding deeply into it.
The room trembled slightly from the impact.
Kino's eyes flared with blazing red light.
"Wait! I don't even know you! Is this really necessary?" the demon's voice came, familiar and irritated.
The black figure transformed into a woman, rubbing her chest.
"Sure, we haven't talked much, but that punch was uncalled for," she added.
Kino slowly landed, Pamela and Harley cautiously approaching when they saw there was no immediate danger.
"Darling, do you know her?" Pamela asked. She wasn't Kino's type, as far as she knew.
"She's one of her subordinates," Kino replied vaguely. In this version of the DC Universe, he didn't dare say her name directly.
Pamela understood immediately. If she served that demon, there was only one possibility.
"So why are you here, and with your full magical force on display?" Kino asked.
"You're really asking? You took Her Majesty and left me behind!" the woman—Mazekin—snapped. "I've been sitting in bars every day waiting for you to show up. Today, I finally sensed your presence, rushed over—and you punched me!"
"So... this is what it's about?" Kino raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean 'just this'?!" Mazekin shouted, nearly breaking down. "Without Her Majesty, I'd rather die! I just want to see her, even for a second. Smell her scent! I'll give you treasures, anything—just take me to her!"
Pamela and Harley watched in silence. They had expected a battle, but this?
Kino had a headache."Aren't you a demon? What happened to your dignity?"
"I'm not human! What use is dignity?" Mazekin argued. "I'll kill, fight, sleep with you—whatever! Just help me!"
Kino sighed. If he beat her, she'd just vanish again, and finding her would be a nightmare.
"Alright, alright, get up already."
"You're taking me?" Mazekin asked, eyes full of hope.
"Yes, but I've still got a few things to finish here. I'll return in a few days."
Kino nodded. He never intended to refuse—just sending someone off, no big deal.
After sending Mazekin back to hell, Kino turned to Pamela and Harley.
"Let's go, Pamela, Little Crazy. Time to head for our next destination—Kahndaq."
Quote of the Chapter:"Some demons fall not from rebellion—but from love that burns too brightly."
