Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands

Chapter 621: No Need To Give In Just Because You are The Elder Sibling

Luo Huian didn't explain anything. She simply walked over to stand in front of the two children who were crying and squabbling at the same time. The second the two of them noticed that Luo Huian had come to a stop in front of them, they started to cry even harder.

However, the more they cried, the calmer Luo Huian became. She didn't rush the children to stop crying, nor did she scold them. Luo Huian simply stared at the two kids who were crying as if their lives depended on it.

"Luo Huian, what are you doing?!" Du De could no longer bear it anymore when she saw that Luo Huian was not stopping the two children who were crying so loudly that it nearly made her ears hurt. "If you cannot take care of them, then you should just say it, what are you standing there like a statue for?"

When Luo Huian heard Du De's remark, she rolled her eyes and turned to look at Du De before saying to her, "What do you mean? Do you think I am ignoring them deliberately?"

"If not?"

"Of course not," Luo Huian scoffed. She explained, "I am not ignoring them for no reason." She glanced at the two kids who were still crying and then explained unhurriedly, "They are crying because they miss their parents and want you to arrange for them to come sooner. You must have seen them crying and called your brother earlier, right? That made these two believe that as long as they cried harder, you would call their parents once again and then their parents would be pressured into coming back sooner. They are neither hurt nor really bothered by what's happening."

"They just want to control the situation. Isn't that right?"

She glanced at the little girl and the boy who were crying.

With Luo Huian putting the truth down, the two children stopped crying. Though they were still sniffling, they were no longer crying. Luo Huian turned and looked at Du De, whose face was not looking good anymore. She had indeed called her brother earlier when these two brats started to cry as if the world was ending.

She thought that as long as the two of them talked to her brother, they would get quiet. She never thought that these two brats were sly enough to understand that if they cried, they would get what they wanted. If she had known then, she would have never made that call to her brother.

The two children stopped crying the second they saw that Luo Huian had seen through their disguise. They pursed their lips and wiped the tears off their lashes, but even then, the two of them looked quite upset and angry with the situation in front of them.

When their gazes met, they even turned to look away from one another with a huff.

Realising that there was indeed something wrong between the two of them, Luo Huian crouched down and asked, "What's the matter? Why are you fighting? Aren't you two siblings? You should be getting along better than the others."

"I don't want to play with Little Two!" The little girl pouted and exclaimed, causing the little boy's expression to turn heartbroken. However, even if he was a child, he had his own ego and self-respect; he couldn't bring himself to say that was in his heart and snapped, "I don't want to play with you either. It's not like I am dying to play with you!"

The two kids glared at one another before turning to look away. Realising that the mess might not be as simple as she thought it was, Luo Huian turned her attention to the little girl and asked, "You tell me what happened?"

Just now, she did notice a hint of guilt in the eyes of the little boy, which showed that the boy must have done something wrong, and that was why he was acting like a brat.

The little girl turned and looked at Luo Huian. With her arms crossed and cheeks puffed up, she cried, "Little Two broke my hair tie. Dad got it for me, but he broke it. He is really bad! I don't want to play with him."

"Did you do it?" Luo Huian turned and questioned the little boy, who stiffened but shook his head quite resolutely. Luo Huian curled her lips and then said to the little boy, "If you lie, then your nose will start getting longer. And each time you lie, your nose will get bigger and bigger until it becomes so big that you will not be able to carry it."

The little boy was terrified of getting caught to begin with; when he heard Luo Huian's words, his face turned even more pale. He glanced at his sister, who seemed to be waiting for an answer while the rest of the adults also looked at him without correcting what Luo Huian was saying to him.

In the end, Little Two couldn't withstand the pressure and burst into tears. "I did it. I broke the hair tie of my sister but—but—but—"

"I knew it!" Little One erupted. She looked at her brother as if she were looking at her enemy and said to him, "You are really a bad boy. How can you do such a thing? I told you that it was my favourite."

"I didn't want to–" Little Two started to speak, but he could not bring himself to tell the truth to his sister and flushed red. In the end, he shifted on his feet and turned around to run away. He yelled, "I did it, so what? The hair tie was ugly."

Then, before anyone could stop him, he ran in the direction of the greenhouse.

"Meilin, go and get him back." Luo Huian sighed upon seeing the antics of the little boy. Though she knew why the brat was acting like this, she still could not agree with his actions.

Fan Meilin was surprised by the command that Luo Huian had given to him but he still nodded and chased after the boy.

Once the two of them were gone, Luo Huian turned her attention to the little girl. She asked, "You seem to be carrying a lot of tassels and fabric. Do you like to sew?"

"I do like to embroider," replied Little One with a beaming smile. She was quite happy that someone was finally taking an interest in her hobbies. She smiled at Luo Huian and explained, "My dad brought me a child-friendly embroidery kit, and he brings me all kinds of tassels, fabrics and laces because I like them. Even if I cannot make something good, he says that as long as I try hard, I will succeed."

"I see," Luo Huian nodded. After a pause, she said to the girl, "How about I make you something good? Something that would replace your hair tie?"

"Are you doing this because you want me to forgive Little Two?" said Little One with a sullen look in her eyes. As the eldest sister, she was asked to give in to her siblings all the time. Even when they did something wrong, her father would ask her to forgive her siblings. The last time Little Three scribbled into her diary, even when she asked him not to and yet her daddy kept on saying that Little Three was still young and she shouldn't hold it against him.

No one cared how she felt with her privacy violated. Even when it upset her, no one tried to understand her, which was truly too much. Why was it that just because she was the older sister, she had to listen and give in to her siblings all the time?

What if she didn't want to?

"Little One, don't be selfish," Du De scoffed when she heard the words of the little girl. "It's just a hair tie. Little Two didn't mean it. He really didn't want to hurt you; you should let him—"

"No." Luo Huian intervened the second Du De began to speak. She pursed her lips and then looked at the woman behind her. Her gaze was polite but firm. Though she didn't say anything, her stance was clear. She didn't need Du De to meddle in the mess anymore, for she had done enough already.

She then returned her gaze to Little One and said to her, "I am not doing this because I want you to forgive, Little Two. I am doing this because you are upset. You might be an elder sister, but you are also Little One. Whether or not to forgive Little Two is your decision, and no one else should be telling you what to do. So you can make that decision yourself."

Only then did Little One look a bit better and handed the embroidery bag that she was carrying with her to Luo Huian, who took it and —
