Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands

Chapter 620: Luo Huian's Classes on how to raise babies

Fan Meilin had never felt this surge of panic before because somewhere he knew that his wife was not fond of children. But after seeing how clean and skilled she was in taking care of the little girl lying on the makeshift cot, he turned anxious. If his wife wanted a child, then what would he do?

Would Luo Huian not turn anxious if he couldn't give birth to a child?

Luo Huian had no idea that her husbands had started to worry about something that she had not even thought about. She was instead focusing on the current problem at hand. She said to Du De, "Go and prepare a bottle of milk for her."

"Who? Me?" Du De pointed at herself as if she couldn't believe that Luo Huian was asking her to prepare a bottle of milk.

Luo Huian almost raised her hand to smack the woman down on the ground, but held herself back. She pinched the bridge of her nose before saying to her, "Then who else? Have you forgotten that I am not her aunt, but instead it's you? You should be taking care of this child, and I am being kind enough to help you out. Don't take my kindness for granted."

Du De's face turned red with anger, but she couldn't say anything as others were staring at her. She could even hear some people muttering about how she was being ungrateful. Annoyed, she could only turn on her feet and walk to the small canteen to boil some water.

Du De returned soon after; she handed the milk bottle that she had prepared, and Luo Huian carefully tested the temperature of the milk. Realising that the temperature was a bit high, she clicked her tongue and dumped the milk bottle in a small bucket filled with water to cool it down.

"What are you doing?" Du De looked at the floating bottle and turned to look at Luo Huian with a hint of anger on her face. "Why did you throw the bottle down the bucket? Even if you want to go against me, you shouldn't be doing such a thing. Now, what are we going to feed the child? Because there is no way I am going to prepare the bottle again."

Luo Huian rolled her eyes and said, "I don't need you to. I placed the bottle in the bucket because I want to cool it off. If you hadn't starved this baby, then we could have easily waited for the milk to cool down, but now it's an emergency. Babies cannot be allowed to cry for long, or it will put a strain on their eyes. That's the reason I placed the bottle in the bucket; don't worry, I will boil the sippy once again after the milk has cooled down enough for the baby to drink."

After she finished speaking, Luo Huian actually went to the canteen and started boiling water. She knew that she couldn't feed the baby with a baby bottle dipped in unclean water; thus, she needed to wash it clean before feeding the baby.

Luo Huian's response took Du De by surprise. She had not expected Luo Huian to point out that the temperature of the baby bottle was too hot; her face turned even redder when she saw how everyone was looking at her like she had committed some grave crime. She lowered her head and cursed her brother for acting so nosy.

Since he had left the four children in her care, he should have stayed put and let her take care of them. Why did he send Luo Huian and her husbands to bother her? She was doing a good job alone, wasn't she? It was all because of her brother, who pampered these brats too much, that they had gotten so soft and spoiled. One day under her care would have straightened them!

Fan Meilin noticed the anger that was surging in Du De's eyes. He turned to look at Liao Liqin and asked softly, "This is the kind of person that you liked?"

At least his ex had put in an effort; this woman, on the other hand, was way too casual! How could Liao Liqin allow this woman to fool him so badly?

Liao Liqin knew what was going on in Fan Meilin's head and pursed his lips. What was he supposed to tell him? That it wasn't Du De who was able to fool him but that he was willing to let her fool him. If not for the fact that he believed that Du De was the one who rescued him when he was young, he would have never ignored all these attributes of hers. The only reason he was willing was because he took her as his saviour.

"Shut up," because the matter was way too complicated, Liao Liqin didn't say anything and asked Fan Meilin to stay quiet. However, as he turned to look at the woman in front of him, he became even more dissatisfied with her. He thought that Du De was only a tad bit selfish, but who would have thought that this woman was simply beyond selfish?

He knew why Brother Du went to the other side of the world and left his children behind; it was because he was looking for a doctor who could treat Mother Du and her illness. Brother Du had asked Du De for money again and again, but the woman had refused on the pretext that she didn't have enough money in her hands.

Of course, Brother Du wouldn't push his sister for the sake of getting his hands on the desired sum of money; he and his wife had arranged for the money on their own. In return, they only asked Du De to take care of the children, and yet this woman couldn't even do that! This was not trying hard; this was her being ungrateful.

Liao Liqin was now glad that he was no longer entangled with someone like Du De, a woman who could even treat her family member so harshly; how would she treat him with sincerity? With that thought in his head, whatever feelings he had for Du De suddenly simmered down.

Luo Huian had no idea that with just a small action of boiling the baby bottle, she had changed Liao Liqin's life's trajectory. She returned with the hot water bottle and cleaned the baby bottle with disinfectant before turning it around and washing it with the hot water that she had brought with her.

Only then did she start feeding the baby girl.

Once in possession of her meal, the little girl stopped crying. Even though tears were still hanging on her eyelashes, the baby girl was no longer crying and was softly sucking on the baby bottle.

Luo Huian calmly waited for the baby girl to stop eating. Even though she had lost her temper when Liao Liqin told her that they needed to care for more babies, she was much more silent and calm now that she was taking care of them. With her hands holding the baby, she pulled away the baby bottle and started patting the back of the little girl.

This was something that she learnt was necessary for human babies. Unlike the babies of the immortals, who were born with inherent spiritual power, the human babies were way too fragile and needed help in almost everything, including digesting their food. And this was what helped them.

Qi Yongrui watched Luo Huian take care of the child and turned to look at Du De, who was standing on one side like a fool. He frowned, looking a bit dissatisfied, before saying to the woman, "Shouldn't you be taking care of the other children?" As he spoke, he pointed at Little One and Little Two, who were still fighting among themselves.

They were still crying and making a fuss, which was quite a nuisance.

Du De's face turned red when she heard Qi Yongrui's remark. She looked down and stared at the two kids who were causing trouble for no reason. With a sigh, she said to the two kids, "Alright, stop crying. There is no need for you to make a fuss. How about this: if you stop crying, then I will take you to a restaurant and we can have a nice meal?"

However, as soon as she finished speaking, the two children started crying even harder, which made Du De frown even harder. She was about to offer some more suggestions that the kids would like when Luo Huian said to her, "You need to stop paying attention to them; stop making things worse by bribing them. They will learn bad habits if you do that."

"What do you mean by 'bad habits?" Du De rolled her eyes. She turned to look at the woman behind her and said to her, "I am not trying to teach them bad habits; can you not see how badly they are crying?"
