God of Money: Reincarnated as the Weakest SSS Rank

Chapter 117: Forcing them

He wasn't the only one who had come in. Fraid did too, and he grabbed Dewey Jackson like a punching bag, complaining about things that didn't really bother him, because he didn't have a damn thing to sell Louis.

What would he sell him, if he had already taken everything from him? His $100 million? Even that didn't bother him at this point, because it wasn't that different in his eyes.

That's why he was just here having fun and venting his anger on these bastards.

And in the same way, Dicson, Theos, and the other two leaders from Ancient Moon came in to vent their rage on these businessmen, without even asking.

The businessmen couldn't help but take several steps back, and some rolled on the ground.

"W-what's going on?"

"W-why are the leaders suddenly hitting us?"

"Does anyone know what the hell is going on?"

They were businessmen, and they weren't used to fighting. Most of them spent their days behind a desk, working late into the night, so they weren't in any condition to fight mobsters.

Real mobsters who are used to fighting in street fights and claiming territory, shooting anyone who gets in their way.

Moreover, many of them had participated in wars in one way or another and had previous experience. That's why beating up these businessmen who barely got their asses out of their seats was as easy as breathing.

And the businessmen had no chance.

Each and every one of them was beaten until the leaders suppressed their inner rage and stopped.

Jackvin and Theos stood up and wiped the blood from their hands, then looked at all the businessmen, one by one, finally focusing their attention on a small group that included Paul Borne, Dewey Jackson, and Theodore Fortinni.

"Now we'll let you speak. What the hell did you do to offend Lord Carwine?" Jackvin said, grabbing Paul Borne by the hair. "And you better answer quickly, you bastard."

Paul Borne was in a sorry state; one of his teeth had long since left his mouth, and his eyes were swollen.

He felt confused. "W-who is Lord Carwine? I've never met anyone like that..."

"Oh? So you're calling us idiots for grabbing the wrong person?"

"N-no!" He quickly replied, realizing that Jackvin was tightening his grip and preparing his fist. But he really had no idea.

What could he say?

Should he accept blame for offending someone he didn't even know?

Just then, one of the people present who had been beaten, but not as badly, a Jackson, understood what was happening.

"Th-that young man?" Unintentionally, these words slipped out of his mouth. Although he quickly tried to cover his mouth, he had already made the mistake.

Theos, who was asking Dewey the same question, looked at his brother and smiled. "You seem to know," he said. He signaled to one of his subordinates to grab him.

"Now talk."

He swallowed hard, but seeing that they weren't beating him and remembering that he wasn't the one who said something very bad against that boy, he spoke.

"I-I just remember that Dimash introduced him to me before. He was the young man wearing elegant black and purple clothes, right? I don't know much. I just know that he wanted to buy Mr. Paul's companies for 300 million."

"300?" Fraid looked at Paul Borne and sneered. "You're an idiot. You could have left with at least 300, but you turned it down, right?"

Somehow, Fraid felt sorry for him but also wanted to mock someone more pitiful than himself.

Paul Borne frowned. 'That boy? Who the hell is he to get so many prominent people to move?'

It was now that everyone realized who they were talking about. The boy they had mocked so much over the last few hours.

Not only was he able to move the great luminaries of the underworld, who control this region, but he also made them literally beat them up.

That's a difficult thing to achieve.

Suddenly, Jackvin stood up and dragged Paul Borne. "In the end, aren't you going to tell me what you did? I'll have to force you."

Paul Borne didn't initially understand what was happening, but suddenly he was upside down from the window, looking at the ground, the numerous parked cars, and personnel surrounding the building.

Vertigo struck his body as Jackvin spoke again.

"I wonder if you'd be paralyzed if I threw you from here... Or maybe you'd die instantly? I don't know, but our men are down there, and as soon as you fall, they'll open fire on you, thinking you're escaping. So..." Jackvin threatened to throw him, and Paul trembled.

"I'll talk! Wait!" he shouted, filled with terror.

Jackvin then smiled. He simply squeezed him tighter. "Then talk. People talk more when they're afraid of death, and it's their only way to survive. So... talk. If you take too long, I'll let go."

He naturally didn't think twice and told him everything that had happened. He was so scared that he didn't even keep his plans and what he had been doing recently with White Lotus's help to himself.

Jackvin frowned.

'So White Lotus is acting more frantically these days.' He sneered. 'Too bad you ran into that madman. Otherwise, your plans might have turned out better.'

'But I should say that now we have some equality with you, North Zone. We also have someone who can represent us before the Ascended. We may have less strength, but we are crazier. We'll see who wins in the end.' He thought.

He threw Paul back inside and dragged him across the room.

"Since that's the case, then let's go. You guys have something important to do." Mocking, he signaled to the rest to take away all the targets.

"The rest of you will be spared for now... But, starting today, I will tell you that we have a new commander in the South. Lord Carwine, don't judge him by his appearance. He is currently our leader. In the future, he will reunify the North and South. Just like in the old days."

They disappeared behind the walls and descended the building.

The businessmen would have difficulty understanding his words, but eventually they would. They weren't worried about them. They were intelligent people; surely they could use their heads, even if they were dizzy.

They entered the cars and began driving through the city.

Jackvin and Theos were in Jackvin's limousine with the four targets.

"I'll tell you something, you little bastards," said Theos, sitting next to Jackvin. Recently, these two had become friends.

They had no other choice, in fact.

Behind the car were the four targets and two of their strongest members—serial thugs, wanted by the guards and even by the church.

Those four wouldn't budge from there, even if they were offered 10 billion Jens.

"Right now, you're going to sell all your companies to Lord Carwine for 10 million."

Although they trembled and wanted to refuse, Theos smiled.

"I'll just tell you that if you refuse, he'll point a magic gun at your heads and kill you. I don't care if you die, honestly. I'm only telling you because I don't want him to get mad at us for not telling you." After saying this, he settled back into the passenger seat and smiled at the rearview mirror.

"If you want to refuse or something, you can do so. It's not that we like to socialize with people. We'll just force it."

"You..." Paul glared at him with hatred. "Don't you know who I am? Have you forgotten who backs me?" He growled.

"Hahaha." Theos stared at him through the mirror. "Go ahead. Call the White Lotus. I'm not afraid to tell you that Lord Carwine may be tougher than your Iron Giant. So there's not much they can do."

Paul Borne swallowed the words he had planned to say and remained silent. His mind was filled with thoughts.

He still had a lot to say, but he was afraid to say it.

'Tougher than the Iron Giant? I don't think so...' he thought. However, it wasn't really that he didn't believe it. He didn't speak precisely because he knew it wasn't impossible.

Countless people are more powerful than their Iron Giant, but they have depended on that powerful being to stay on top of the South Zone since they separated.

If someone as strong as him appeared here... the situation would become extremely complicated.

Several plans could fall through, and others would have to be reformulated.

Although Theos said that, he didn't believe that the boy could be on the same level as that person. He was too young.

He was powerful, yes. He had escaped from a Lockward Executioner and all their pursuit, even winning a lot of money from betting that day, and it was all orchestrated by himself, but in a head-on fight, he couldn't beat him.

'For now,' he thought.

According to his brother, that boy's future could be impressive, especially as a student at that prestigious academy. So he is sure that he will be able to defeat him in the future.

Perhaps that is why they had accepted his mandate without saying too much or putting up much resistance.

Soon, they returned to the industry.
