Chapter 751: Offers
Just like that, the Clan Leaders started considering what collection of items they could share to help Lancelot boost his System Points for the Auction.
Zaros, head of the Arcane Dawn Clan, started using private messages to his assistant to help him with the decision...
He needed help to decide.
After a few moments, they were able to come to an agreement and give up most of the Ember Crystals they had looted from Blazing Zombies. They were Zombies exclusive in the volcano near their Clan Shelter.
Thanks to that, they could harvest Ember Crystals every day since, for some reason, the Zombies would just spawn there every day.
Each Ember Crystal was worth 20 Points if converted. If they gave up about 3,000 Ember Crystals that they had collected for a month, that's already 60,000 Points!
Unfortunately, this would result in a lack of ammunition to deal with the Zombie Wave if they had one. They could only pray that there wouldn't be any Zombie Wave or Wild Necromancers attacking their shelter for a month or so.
"Sir Lancelot… My Arcane Dawn Clan decided to provide you with 3,000 Ember Crystals. Converting them will give you 60,000 Points!"
As he said this, he also glanced at the other Clan Leaders.
He wanted to show how superior he was compared to these other Clan Leaders, who were still hesitating about what to give.
As expected, as soon as they heard that he was willing to give up 60,000 points, the others immediately perked up as they decided to offer something better or at least, something similar.
"Thank you, Zaros… As expected for the first clan to join the Alliance. I will use it well." Lancelot said, filled with satisfaction.
Brakka of the Crimson Shield Clan clenched his fists as he heard this.
He had already chatted with his Vice Leader, and apparently, they couldn't provide that much help to Lancelot.
However, he needed to do something about it.
After considering for a while, he decided to part with three Reinforced Spirit Barrier Generators…
Everyone knew how important it was since Barrier Generators are required in order to establish Clan Shelters. It was for their own expansion!
Without such Generators, they could be easily infiltrated by not just Zombies but also other Survivors with ill intent...
Brakka didn't want to give up since he planned to build another shelter, but this was no longer about pride. It was war in another form, and he couldn't just let his Clan lose Lancelot's favor.
"The Crimson Shield will contribute three Reinforced Spirit Barrier Generators, Sir Lancelot. Each is equivalent to at least 14,000 Points... So that's 42,000 in total."
A few murmurs of surprise rippled through the chamber as he said this.
Even Lancelot knew that these Barrier Generators, which could not be harvested like Ember Crystals, were more valuable and practical to use than to be converted to points.
At this time, Lancelot himself even felt that it would be a pity to just convert these Generators.
Then came the Silver Lark Clan.
Lady Miranel, draped in shimmering feathers harvested from their own signature avian mounts, lifted a few papers and placed them on the table.
Miranel just showed 12 pieces of 75 Discount Vouchers to Lancelot.
They were system-forged items, allowing 75% off to the Survivor Store, whether it was the Weapon Store, Nourishment Store, or Random Items Store, it could actually be used.
"I've been collecting these Vouchers for some time now…. One of my Clan Members exchanged it for 1,250 Points each. They're worth 15,000 Points for all 12 of them…. However, you can also consider using this instead of just converting them to points. "
Everyone fell silent. Even Lancelot gave a brief nod of acknowledgment.
Then, it was followed by the Thunder Roar Clan's Leader.
Their Clan Master, Grant. He was always clad in beast-hide armor and carrying a mechanical war hammer on his back… This set was his only Legendary Equipment, and as much as possible, he didn't want to remove it even during his sleep.
Grant then took out his briefcase and opened it in front of everyone.
Inside were a few dozen Explosive Zombie Cores. They were just normal Zombie Cores before, but thanks to his Talent, he was able to make them explode with a power that could equal ten or so grenades at the same time.
As a matter of fact, a single Explosive Zombie Core needed about 50 Zombie Cores in the process of transforming them.
Of course, Grant's Talent and other items he used had further increased the power of the explosion.
In terms of conversion, it wasn't just worth 50 points or so. They were actually worth about 1,500 points each.
"They're volatile… Each explosive is worth about 1,300 to 1,700 points." he explained for a moment before closing the briefcase.
"There are forty pieces in this box, so you could get about 60,000 points or so with this batch."
Next, the Blazing Sun and River Flow Clans came together. Though historically competitive, the leaders exchanged nods before presenting something.
They were trap mechanisms powered by Power Cores, perfect for Fortress Defense Systems.
Alongside them were Enchanted Seeds from the Blazing Sun Clan's botanical vault and an Ancient Tea Pot.
Any tea brewed in this pot could provide a small purification and heal light wounds.
"Together, our contribution will bring in roughly 50,000 Points…" said Thayen of the Blazing Sun Clan.
The Iron Forge Clan was next.
They brought Refined Alloys, tempered in a volcano, and they were previously intended for Golem productions.
Apparently, the Iron Forge Clan had methods of producing Golems to protect their Shelters. Unfortunately, they couldn't control a lot of them at the same time.
To be exact, only six Golems could be controlled.
Because of this, they had to create only the top-quality Golems…
These metals were rare, durable, and could probably produce the best Golem they could make.
"This is enough to forge five Golems," the Iron Forge Leader said. "Or convert into at least 25,000 Points."
"I'll accept it…" Lancelot said. He didn't expect much from the Iron Forge Clan since their resources were already drying up because most of the members of the "Alliance" were using their services to obtain high-grade weapons.
The Green Haven Clan, on the other hand, came forward with what they called Preserved Miracle Fruits…
Once again, these fruits weren't looted or obtained through the system store or system mission.
Instead, they were created by Talented Survivors who had knowledge about biotech-enhanced produce with restorative, detoxifying, and energy-boosting properties.
Alongside them, they provided Stimulant Reagents that could be used by scouts, assassins, or any Survivors who rely on their burst of speed..
"They're all consumables," The Clan Leader said. "But they're premium items. With their high quality, you can get about 25,000 to 30,000 Points in total."
That was certainly not a bad point.
Soon, the Leader of the Sky Riders Clan dropped a sleek black box onto the table.
It just came out of his inventory.
"Sir Lancelot… I hope that you can understand but my clan had suffered a lot during the last Zombie Wave and the Zombie Lord Raid that we've done yesterday… So please don't expect too much from our contribution..."
As he said this, he opened the box to reveal 12 pieces of Recon Drones.
"Not many left," their leader muttered. "But worth at least 1,000 Points each… They're all Epic Grade as well."
"Mhmm… I've heard about your situation. I can understand that." Lancelot said as most of his reserved forces had indeed been sent to the Sky Riders Clan during the last Zombie Wave.
Their shelters had strategic locations after all. They were defending the east side of the Overlord Clan's main shelter, and they could not fall for their own sake.
Soon, the Leader of the Shadow Dagger Clan followed.
Their Clan was small. They only had 50 Clan Members.
However, all of them were incredible assassins…
Because of that, no one really expects they could provide anything of value at this point.
Still, the leader gave up two sheathed daggers, each sealed in protective enchantments.
"They were supposed to be our last resort… but now, they're the offering…" He said coldly.
He didn't even say how many points Lancelot could get if they were converted by the device. Nonetheless, no one dared to ask him that question.
They didn't want to be on his bad side.
Just like that, a quiet tension filled the room as all eyes turned to the final two contributors. They were the newest members of the Alliance after the Blood Talon Clan had left or disbanded.
Soon, the Obsidian Howl Clan provided Frozen Poison Crystal.
They were dropped or looted from the Ice Terror Zombies that could only spawn in a Snow Mountain near their main shelter.
Then, the Clan Leader also provided Encrypted Blueprints for a type of drone weapon. Lancelot didn't have to convert it. It was simply the Obsidian Howl's attempt to show how loyal they were to Lancelot.
"We're still new to the Alliance, but we hoped that these things could help our Commander in his mission to beat the Rank 1 Survivor…" The clan leader said.
