Chapter 749: Reputation Stores
Raze chuckled, still holding a vial with Roan's blood.
There was no way she'd convert all of the blood after all. It was simply too precious, and it was not like she needed a million points for the Auction. She believed that having 200 to 300 thousand points should be the limit, as she may not be able to spend all of them during the Auction Event.
"Alright, guys… Not including the Mana Stones that Shane gave to us, what's the best conversion you've made so far?" she asked, a grin spreading across her face.
Obviously, it was the vial of Roan's Blood in her case. As for the rest, she was curious what kind of item they brought.
Kael leaned back as he started first... "Okay, listen to this," he began. "You know the Waiting Zone we entered after being defeated in the Zombie Challenge event? I bought ceremonial daggers in one of the shops there. I traded it with my 40 Reputation Points at that time and got 3,500 Points in the Conversion…"
Lyra was shocked as she heard this. "Only forty Reputation Points for that much? That's not a bad trade."
She couldn't help but check her Reputation Points...
She noticed that she currently has 635 Reputation Points and right now, she was considering whether she should open her Reputation Store and perhaps buy something there that she could convert to System Points.
"Should we convert the items bought with Reputation Points as well?" Raze muttered.
Everyone was happy for Kael since that was a huge profit! Of course, they all wanted to experience that as well.
"You earned so much…" Jaxon said… "Should we just check our Reputation Store for a bit? Maybe we can buy something from there."
"Right… I haven't checked my Reputation Store for today as well.
Tessa nodded…
"Well… My most profitable conversion also came from my Reputation Store. It was a mechanical owl that was supposed to be a surveillance drone that could put trackers on a target. It was already broken or barely functional when I converted it. Guess how much?"
"Tell us how many Reputation Points you spent on it first…" Raze replied.
"Just 20 Points during that time. He replied.
"Then, you got about a thousand points?" Raze guessed.
"Good guess… But I gained 1550 Points from that. I used some Item Upgrade Crystals on it."
They all laughed in disbelief.
"That's an incredible result." Lyra replied.
"Apparently. Anything with enchantments, remnants of energy, or rare materials might pass hidden value scans." Tessa replied.
"Wait… Let me open my Rep Store quickly!" Lyra said.
"Ahhh… Let me check mine as well."
"Me too…"
"Alright… Let's do this quickly. For the System Points!"
Without hesitation, Lyra tapped the interface, and a new window opened. It was the Reputation Store where she could spend her 635 Points.
It wasn't a lot, but it was all because of the Talent Expansion Scrolls and other precious items she bought last week.
Soon, she scrolled through the list of available items curated uniquely for her.
After all, everyone had a different Reputation Store, and after the starting phase of the Apocalypse, the stores had slowly changed and sold half of the items unique to their role or talent.
Because of that, with her Sharpshooter Talent, she would get items related to shooting in most cases. It was the same for others.

Lyra checked the glowing menu and felt satisfied with it.
Most of these items… she'd seen before.
But now that they had discovered the hidden value of seemingly normal equipment after scanning, everything felt different.
'I need more points!'
Every line of text, every price tag, every obscure little item in the Reputation Store was now a possible treasure trove waiting to be cracked open.
She lingered on the Piercing Hawkshot Manual…
'Ignore 50% of enemy defense… Not bad. But Firearm Mastery Lv8? Why is the requirement not Level 10? Still, I already have high penetration bullets and the Ignore Armor Skill. It's not really useful.'
She knew the skill would not be very effective for her, so it was a perfect item to be converted.
She quickly made her purchases:
Piercing Hawkshot Manual – 40 RP
Ocular Enhancer Visor (Mk II) – 25 RP
Cold Veritas Brew – 200 RP
Total spent: 265 Reputation Points
That still left her with around 370 to spare. Not a bad haul.
After that, she opened her inventory and materialized the Piercing Hawkshot Manual in her hands. The dark-blue leather cover was etched with faded signs, and though it looked simple, there was a heavy aura around it.
"Let's see what the scanner says about you…"
She activated her Conversion Device and scanned the manual…
Just like that, the item glowed for a bit, and soon, it started to vanish.
[ Your Piercing Hawkshot Manual has been valued at 1,850 Points. ]
"Ohhh… It's not bad." Lyra gently nodded after seeing this.
It was similar to the results they previously mentioned, but this was still a good result.
Jaxon, who had been browsing his store nearby, looked up. "Wait, what? How much?"
"Thousand eight hundred fifty points...." She smirked. "And I spent forty."
Even Raze stopped flipping through her inventory. "That's already good. Not as insane as Mechanical Owl, but what items is it?"
"It's a Skill Manual that could help ignore defense by 50%... I almost feel bad scanning it now," Lyra said, exhaling. "But it's hard to ignore results like that…"
This time, Shane finally spoke.
"It's a good result. But I guess this means that skill manuals or scrolls would have that many points, huh… Has anyone bought weapons in the Reputation Store? Can you try converting it?"
"Oh… Let me." Raze said as she took out a Wyvern's Bow that she bought for 35 Reputation Points.
Raze then scanned it with the device and smiled at the result.
[ Your Wyvern's Bow has been valued at 1,150 Points. ]
"Aack! So low! I bought this for 35 Rep Points and only got 1,150!" Raze complained.
"Really? Then it's difficult to tell how the device values the items." Kael muttered.
After all, it seemed that the device just randomly gives numbers.
In any case, there was nothing they could do about that.

At this time, Shane focused on his own Reputation Store.
They were quite new to his eyes, so he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed that he might have to convert them to System Points.
'Wait… I already have a lot of points. I don't have to convert them if I want to use them.' Shane thought as she checked the items.

"Ahh? Bio-Armor Repair Kit?" Shane's eyes lit up as soon as he saw this!
This was very important since his Bio-Armor had already been injured so much! Shane purchased all of them immediately and turned to the next items.
