Chapter 24: Lawrence Clan part 2
Eula looked at the Fatui. "Where is my Father".
The Fatui just looked at her. "You think I will say anything, will no handle then first".
Then a few portals opens as coming out of them were a few Fatui, Fatui Skirmisher Electro and Anemone Verison came out then, Then Fatui Gunner's the Hydro and Cryo Version came out, as the Aether Jumped and Summond Albion and covered it with Anemo and slammed to the Electro Skirmisher Hammer.
[ host has crit in attacked, 1 million times Crit effect as be started, Multiplying damaged ]
The hammer then broke to pieces as Aether below his breath spoke. "Time to crit".
Aether's attack with Albion was devastating. The hammer shattered into pieces, and the Electro Skirmisher was sent flying backward, its form crackling with electrical energy before collapsing to the ground. The critical hit effect magnified Aether's power, sending shockwaves through the cavern.
Jean and Sairaorg quickly moved into action. Jean struck down the Anemo Fatui with precise, swift strikes of her sword, her attacks enhanced by her years of experience. Sairaorg, wielding his fiery gauntlets, engaged the Hydro and Cryo Fatui, his flames scorching the enemies and forcing them to retreat.
Amber took aim with her bow, her arrows flying true and striking the Cryo Fatui with deadly accuracy. Kaeya utilized Gae Bolg's power, his spear thrusts slicing through the Fatui ranks with overwhelming force.
Eula, her great sword in hand, charged into the fray, her attacks a blend of powerful strikes and deft maneuvers. Her rage and concern for her father fueled her combat prowess, making her a formidable force against the Fatui.
The Fatui were quickly overwhelmed by the combined assault of the group. The Electro Skirmisher and Anemo Fatui were dispatched swiftly, and the Hydro and Cryo Fatui struggled to keep up with the relentless onslaught.
Amid the chaos, Aether focused on the leader, who was trying to regroup his forces. Aether summoned a swirling vortex of Anemo energy, using it to pull the remaining Fatui agents into one concentrated area.
"Now, let's finish this!" Aether shouted, channeling his magic into a powerful attack.
He unleashed a torrent of energy from Albion, the Anemo and elemental magic combining into a massive storm that swept through the chamber. The Fatui leader tried to resist, but the sheer force of Aether's attack overwhelmed him.
With a final, explosive surge, the Fatui leader was thrown back, defeated. The remaining Fatui forces, seeing their leader fall and their comrades defeated, quickly began to retreat through the portals they had come from.
As the last of the Fatui vanished, the group took a moment to catch their breath. The cavern was littered with the remnants of their battle, and the air was thick with the scent of ozone and smoke.
Eula, still catching her breath, looked around for any sign of her father. "Where is he? He must be here somewhere."
Jean surveyed the area, her sword still at the ready. "We need to search the remaining parts of the dungeon. He might be hidden or imprisoned somewhere."
Sairaorg nodded in agreement. "Let's not waste any time. We need to find him before the Fatui can regroup."
The group split up to search the dungeon, their eyes scanning for any signs of captivity or hidden passages. Aether, using his magic to enhance their search, worked alongside Eula and Sairaorg to explore every corner of the cavern.
After a thorough search, they finally found a hidden chamber at the back of the dungeon. Inside, they discovered Eula's father, bound and unconscious but alive.
Eula rushed to his side, her eyes filled with relief and worry. "Father! You're safe."
Eula's father slowly regained consciousness and looked up at his daughter with a mixture of gratitude and shame. "Eula… I'm sorry. I didn't expect you to come for me."
Eula helped him to his feet, her voice firm but compassionate. "We're here now. Let's get you out of here."
Aether approached, his expression serious. "We've taken care of the Fatui, but we need to make sure they don't come back. We should secure this place and leave before they have a chance to regroup."
With Eula's father now safe and the dungeon secured, the group prepared to leave the cavern. They knew that their fight was far from over, but for now, they had achieved a crucial victory and reunited with a loved one.
As they made their way out of the dungeon, the group felt a renewed sense of determination. They were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that they could rely on each other and their combined strength.
Everyone saw the portal open again, as the Fatui that escape came back, as Aether just looked at them all.
Aether then spoke in his mind. 'System do it".
[ Delay Crit effect has been turned off, the host has Crit 789 times, 1 million times Crit effect has been actived, all damage will dealt at once, Thr 1 million times crit effect has been trigger 789 times ]
As the portal crackled open once more, the defeated Fatui who had retreated returned, their numbers bolstered. They emerged from the swirling vortex, ready to continue their assault.
Aether's eyes narrowed as he observed the renewed threat. He took a deep breath, activating his power with the system's assistance. The critical hit effect, now fully charged, would unleash unparalleled destruction.
With a resolute expression, Aether raised Albion high. The air around him shimmered with intense energy as he prepared to release the full force of his empowered attack.
"Everyone, get ready!" Aether called out. "This is going to be intense!"
Kaeya, Amber, Jean, and Sairaorg immediately took defensive positions, preparing for whatever was about to come. Eula stood by her father, ready to protect him if needed.
Aether's voice reverberated through the cavern as he unleashed the attack. "Albion, release your fury!"
The great sword glowed brightly as Aether infused it with the full power of the 1 million times critical effect. The resulting attack was a cataclysmic wave of energy that surged forward, engulfing the Fatui in an all-consuming vortex.
The cavern trembled under the sheer force of the blast. The Fatui agents were caught in the storm of elemental magic and critical strikes. They were flung around like ragdolls, their armor and defenses unable to withstand the overwhelming power.
The attack did not relent. The 1 million times crit effect, triggered multiple times, ensured that every Fatui within the radius was subjected to a devastating cascade of damage. The once-formidable Fatui forces were quickly overwhelmed by the relentless onslaught.
As the energy dissipated and the dust settled, the cavern fell eerily silent. The Fatui were defeated, their presence erased from the battlefield. The floor was littered with debris and the remnants of their failed invasion.
Aether, breathing heavily from the exertion, lowered Albion. He glanced around, ensuring that the immediate threat had been neutralized.
"Is everyone okay?" Aether asked, turning to his allies.
Jean, Kaeya, Amber, and Sairaorg nodded, though they were visibly exhausted from the battle. Eula, still by her father's side, looked relieved but concerned.
Eula's father, now freed from his restraints, took a deep breath. "Thank you, everyone. I owe you all my gratitude."
Eula placed a comforting hand on her father's shoulder. "We need to get out of here and ensure that the Fatui won't trouble us again. They might have more plans."
With the immediate danger averted, the group began to make their way out of the dungeon. Aether, still processing the extent of his recent attack, kept a vigilant eye on their surroundings.
As they emerged from the cave, the night sky greeted them, and they took a moment to regroup. The threat from the Fatui had been significant, but their combined strength and Aether's critical strike had secured their victory.
The group knew their mission was far from over, but they had taken a significant step toward ensuring their safety and confronting the forces that sought to undermine them. The path ahead was uncertain, but with their resolve and unity, they were prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As they walked through the forest, Aether led the group with Eula by his side. The rest of the group followed, each lost in their own thoughts about the recent events and Aether's extraordinary abilities.
Kaeya, glancing at Aether's back, turned to Jean with a wry smile. "You know, with all the things he does, sometimes I wonder if he's even human."
Jean nodded, a thoughtful expression on her face. "I've been wondering the same thing. His abilities are beyond anything we've seen. Could he possibly be an Archon?"
Lisa, who had been quietly listening, decided to chime in. "Maybe he's the 'Crit Archon.'"
Amber looked puzzled. "Crit Archon? What does that mean?"
Lisa shrugged. "It's just a term I came up with. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but it seems to fit him somehow. It's like he's got this incredible luck or power that seems to defy explanation."
Kaeya chuckled. "Well, if 'Crit Archon' is what we're calling him, I suppose it's fitting. He certainly does have a knack for extraordinary feats."
As the conversation continued, they reached a clearing where they decided to take a short break. Aether, overhearing the discussion, couldn't help but smile. He had always felt different, but he had never fully understood the extent of his abilities or how they might be perceived by those around him.
Eula took this opportunity to address the group. "Thank you all for your help today. I know we've had our share of challenges, but I'm grateful for your support."
Kaeya, Amber, and the others nodded in agreement. "We're a team," Kaeya said. "And we'll face whatever comes our way together."
As they rested and prepared to continue their journey, the group's conversation shifted to lighter topics, and they shared a few moments of camaraderie. Despite the challenges they faced, their bond grew stronger with each passing day.
The path ahead was uncertain, but they knew that with their combined strength and unity, they could confront any adversity that lay before them. Aether's unique abilities, whatever their origin, had proven invaluable, and the group was more determined than ever to face whatever came next.
Sairaorg looked at Aether. "hey you, just going to say this, we will have a fight one day".
Aether just looked at him. "Is that treat?".
Sairaorg met Aether's gaze with a serious expression. "It's not a threat, just a promise. You've got skills, and I respect that. But there's a lot I need to understand about you. I want to see how you fare against me in a real fight."
Aether raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "I'm not one to back down from a challenge. But let's make sure we're on the same side before we settle any scores."
Sairaorg nodded, the intensity in his eyes softening slightly. "Agreed. We've got bigger problems right now, but don't think I've forgotten about it."
Eula, who had been listening to their exchange, stepped in. "Sairaorg, let's focus on the task at hand. We need to deal with the Lawrence Clan situation first. We can sort out personal challenges later."
Sairaorg sighed but gave a nod of agreement. "Alright, let's handle the current issues. But don't think I've forgotten our conversation."
As they continued their journey, the group's focus shifted back to their mission. Despite the underlying tension, the promise of a future duel was now a point of mutual respect between Sairaorg and Aether. For now, their combined efforts were directed at resolving the urgent matters ahead.
After the team arrived back to there place someone was watching them, this was Venti he was the sky and saw everyone, with a smile as he looked at Aether
Venti hovered in the sky, his eyes locked on Aether as he and the team returned. The carefree bard's usual light-hearted demeanour was momentarily replaced with a thoughtful expression. He could sense the immense power that Aether had accumulated, but there was still something in the air, a lingering uncertainty that gnawed at him.
"He's grown so much stronger with the system's help," Venti murmured to himself, watching the way Aether led the group with confidence. "But... is it enough?"
The winds around Venti stirred slightly as if reacting to his unease. His eyes flickered towards the horizon, where dark clouds loomed in the distance, a sign of the coming storm.
"Even with the system's aid, even with his skills and resolve, the trials ahead... they're unlike anything he's faced before." Venti's voice grew softer, almost melancholic. "There are forces at play, powers that even an Archon would struggle against. And he—he's no Archon."
He took a sip from his flask, his smile returning, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Well, I suppose time will tell. But I do hope… when the real test comes, he'll be ready."
With that, Venti let the wind carry him away, disappearing into the sky as silently as he had come, his thoughts lingering on Aether's fate and the challenges that lay ahead.
