Gate Hunters

We had already arrived at the island in question, a strikingly beautiful tropical paradise. Without wasting any time taking in the surroundings, Molly led the way, saying, "The tunnel is this way." Her unique abilities made her the pivotal member of this operation.

She guided us to the underground drainage tunnel, where we were all struck by a foul odor.

Upon arriving at the source of the smell...we were left speechless of the sight of the countless corpses that were once hunters.

Weapons and fabrics from hunting gear drift along the river tinged with blood towards the ocean, only to become prey for the lurking sharks.

We all stood inside and asked the question that appeared in everyone's mind.

What is the purpose of a drainage tunnel on an isolated island? How many hunters were killed? And for how long were they doing this? Above all, what is the reasoning for the camp?

All that could now be answered, it was time for me to become a spy, "I'm leaving now. Oracle, I am relying on you to be my eyes and ears." I spoke.

She nodded her head and displayed the information about the island. "I won't let you down," she said, after receiving a gentle pat.

Before I departed, I turned to Krist, who partially lifted his mask to reveal his lips and said, "I will be waiting?"

Following his lead, I shifted my mask aside to reveal my lips and said, "You won't have to wait too long." Then, I secured my mask and proceeded down the tunnel.

"Miss Ruby, keep going forward until you pass the fifth manhole." Said Molly.

I did as instruct and run down the tunnel. But I can't deny that I was distracted by the bloody water.

After running straight for five minutes, I reached a manhole that was improperly sealed. "From this point forward, stay silent to avoid their detection. Once you pass through the manhole, you'll see two guards by a fire to your east sitting on a log while drinking" Molly instructed.

As I got out from the drainage tunnel, I saw those two guards drinking alcohol and seems like they are having a good time.

I sneak to the west towards a tent, "WAIT! Not that way. There's a guard who is about to come out. Quickly between the northern wooden shack." Upon receiving her warning, I hurried in the northern direction, and between the two wooden shacks.

For some reason, I heard muffed screams before deciding to move forward, "There are prisoners inside those shacks, and they seemed to be... eating food. They seemed to be stuffing these people until they are full. Four of them are extremely overweight while the remaining two are still slim but gaining weight at a rapid pace. Miss Ruby, can you wait a little bit...they are getting ready to move two of the bodies out." I lean against the shack wall so I could listen to the conversation.

It was faint but I heard a man's voice, "She is nice and plump. Lord Androphagus will be pleased to receive his yearly feast. Lately his demands have been increasing rapidly but I believe we have enough offerings to keep him at by. You know what to do." The voice went silent before I heard the door open and watched two men carrying a woman on a giant dish plate.

"I don't think it's safe for you to follow them. Right now, you need to destroy their communication. It's pretty close but there's a guard working by the tent. Something tells me that this one you can knock out because his tent is isolated from the others. Keep heading north then take a right on the second intersection." I nodded before making my move.

Displaying my cat like agility and stealth as I easily traverse the camp.

So, this is one of the dark secrets of the GEA. Fattening people up and serving them to some Lord.

What inhuman practice is Shoto doing. Now I know way Johnathan always said that you can never trust him. All white knights have a dark heart within their armour.

They only displaying what the others want to see because they truly understand what we want to see from a person.

How many years have you been doing this Shoto?

When did you descend into the darkness?

So many question, so many truths.

Awaiting to be revealed.

I arrived at the communication tent to where I found the poor helpless sap rocking playing games on a laptop.

Everyone here felt confident that a raid would never happen and that they could continue being the stuff pigs that they are behind the scenes.

I hope this raid packs a bit of fear into the heart of Shoto. Once I close the Gate that Johnathan was murdered in. I'm going blow ever single piece of lead into his skull.

The poor sap wasn't aware of my presence. Only after I wrapped my left arm around his neck and then closed his mouth and nose with my right hand. He was going to find it difficult to breath with the constant flow of gushing in his mouth. He kept up the struggle for a few seconds before he stops moving.

I kept the hold for a full minute before releasing him.

"Miss Ruby, whenever you are ready. If it's possible, can you bring that laptop with you. And also press the green blinking button to cut off their power supply."

Without Molly this would have been a dangerous raid.

I glad to have such a reliable teammate.

First, I turned off the power which was Peter's signal.

And I retrieve the laptop from the camp. But to make sure they don't turn it back on. I spray the equipment with water and damaged a few with my shock baton.

"Your turn, Storm."
