Chapter 8: 7 ~ Hidden Temple
As they walked away from the obstacle course, Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Now, girls, it's time for you to see your new training facility."
The four girls exchanged curious glances with excitement dancing in their eyes. They had been wondering where their new training facility would be.
"But there's a catch," Mr. Qi said, his voice mischievous. "You'll have to trust me and follow my instructions without question. Are you willing to do that?"
Luna, Lexi, Ari, and Chloe nodded eagerly, their hearts racing with excitement as they eagerly waited for his words again.
"Okay, girls," Mr. Qi said, his voice firm. "I want you to put on these blindfolds." He said as he handed them the blindfolds. At first it seemed like they weren't going to take it but the moment Luna took the first one, Lexi took the next. Ari and Chloe followed suit with no hesitation. Mr Qi looked at them and smiled, he noticed that the trust they had in Luna is growing at a faster rate and this was a very good thing.
After taking the blindfolds, the four girls looked at each other nervously before putting on the blindfolds. They heard Mr. Qi's voice behind them, guiding them as they walked.
"Take a step forward, girls," Mr. Qi said, his voice firm. "Now, turn to your left... walk forward... turn to your right."
The four girls followed Mr. Qi's instructions, their senses heightened as they tried to navigate through the unknown terrain. They walked for what felt like hours, their feet aching and their minds racing with curiosity.
Finally, Mr. Qi's voice stopped them. "Okay, girls, you can take off your blindfolds."
The four girls ripped off their blindfolds, blinking in the bright sunlight. They looked around, taking in their new surroundings.
They were standing in a large, open courtyard, surrounded by high walls and tall trees. The air was thick with the scent of incense and something else... something metallic.
The courtyard was filled with strange and exotic equipment, some of which looked ancient, while others looked sleek and modern. There were punching bags and kicking pads, as well as strange, curved swords and staffs.
But what really caught their attention were the people. There were men and women, all of whom looked like they were from a different country, a different culture. They were all dressed in traditional clothing, and they all seemed to be staring at Mr. Qi with a mixture of respect and admiration.
"Welcome, girls, to your new training facility," Mr. Qi said, his voice proud. "This is a special place, one that has been hidden away for centuries. It's a place where warriors come to train, to hone their skills and to become the best versions of themselves. You'll find out more but for now that's everything"
The four girls looked at each other, their eyes wide with wonder. They had never seen anything like this before.
As they looked around, they noticed that the people were all staring at Mr. Qi, their faces filled with respect. One of the men, an older man with a long white beard, stepped forward and bowed deeply.
"Master Qi, it's an honor to see you again," the man said, his voice low and gravelly. The language he spoke in was different but surprisingly, they understood what he said. The girls looked at each other's faces checking to see if they weren't the oy ones who understood the language.
Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "Ah, Master Wong, it's good to see you too. I've brought some new students for you to meet."
The man's eyes landed on the four girls, and he nodded, his face serious. "Ah, yes. The new generation. I see you've brought some talented young women with you, Master Qi."
Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes proud. "Yes, I have. And I think they're going to do great things. Also....I found her" Mr Qi added with the last words in a hushed tone. The man's eyes widened and he didn't need to look at them all to figure who Mr Qi is talking about. He looked at her for a while before turning to walk away.
As the man walked away, the four girls looked at each other, their eyes wide with wonder. They had a feeling that they were in for an adventure unlike anything they had ever experienced before.
"Master Qi, what is this place?" Luna asked, her voice curious.
Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "This, my dear, is the Hidden Temple. It's a place where warriors come to train, to learn, and to grow."
"But it looks so... ancient," Lexi said, her voice filled with wonder.
Mr. Qi nodded, his eyes serious. "It is ancient. The Hidden Temple has been around for centuries, hidden away from the outside world."
"And what about the people?" Ari asked, her voice curious. "They all seem to know you."
Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes warm. "Ah, yes. The people here are all part of a community, a community of warriors and martial artists. We all share a common goal: to become the best versions of ourselves. That's it, no more questions we're going to be introduced to the eight masters and they'll guide us in choosing our skill then finally be our mentors"
As Mr. Qi spoke, the four girls looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the Hidden Temple. They saw people training, practicing their moves, and sparring with each other but what surprised them.was that it wasn't actually people it was just an illusion, As Mr Qi referred to it.
They saw ancient artifacts and strange equipment, and they felt a sense of excitement and wonder.
They knew that they were in for an adventure, an adventure that would challenge them, test them, and push them to their limits. But they were ready, ready to face whatever lay ahead, armed with their courage, their determination, and their growing skills.
As they stood there, taking it all in, Mr. Qi's voice cut through. "Now girls come around, it's time for the introduction, you'll get to tour the place later"
