Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 454: Sanctus Lux Realm

"Well, Master Lein? Are you surprised?" Veyron asked with anticipation in his voice. His sharp gaze studied every expression on Lein's face, as if trying to read his thoughts. He seemed slightly concerned that Lein might not be impressed with this place.

In Veyron's mind, Lein was the son of a ruler with immense wealth. Given that background, it was natural for him to assume that Lein wouldn't be impressed by the Dominion Nova Consortium, a lower-tier territory far from the grandeur of elite regions.

Lein glanced around briefly before offering a small smile. "It's very impressive, Lord Veyron. This is the first time I've arrived at such a magnificent place," he replied sincerely.

Veyron's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but his reaction quickly subsided, and a friendly smile returned to his face. "I'm glad to hear that, Master Lein."

From the corner of his eye, Lein caught a different expression from some of Veyron's bodyguards. A fleeting look of disdain, quickly masked before they averted their gazes. Though brief, Lein had noticed it.

Veyron then spoke again, this time with slight hesitation. "Apologies, Master Lein, regarding our previous transaction… When exactly would you be available?" His tone was casual, but Lein could sense a hint of discomfort behind it.

Lein paused for a moment before nodding. "Ah, right. We can proceed with the transaction soon. How about in a week?" he asked casually. "By the way, where does Lord Veyron reside?"

"Astralis Kingdom, Prime Zodiac Realm, Auraborne City," Veyron replied without hesitation. However, as if suddenly remembering something, he reached into his storage and pulled out a map.

"This is the Dominion map," he explained while handing the map to Lein. "It doesn't cover everything, but at least it shows the portal to my city."

Lein received the map with a slight nod. "Thank you, Lord Veyron. See you in a week."

Veyron gave a faint smile before turning around. "Alright, then I shall continue my journey."

Without further words, he and his guards boarded one of the passing airborne public transports. In an instant, they soared into the sky and disappeared into the distance.

Lein still held the map in his hand, his eyes staring blankly in the direction where Veyron had left. In his heart, he realized that the Dominion Nova Consortium was not just an ordinary place.

Tauriel and Aleron observed the interaction between Veyron and Lein with expressions of amazement. Aleron finally couldn't hold back his comment, "Lord Lein, truly remarkable. Your ability to interact is impressive. Even a mid-tier king seems so familiar with you." Admiration was evident on his face.

Lein simply shook his head, smiling slightly at Aleron's almost flattering demeanor. "Come on now, no need to exaggerate," he said casually. "Now, should we find an inn? Or would it be better to enter another realm to rest?" He glanced at Tauriel, waiting for a suggestion.

Tauriel pondered for a moment before answering, "It would be better to stay within a realm inside this Dominion, Lord Lein. The EON Gateway area often experiences theft and other issues." Her tone was serious.

Although EON Gateway was monitored by powerful beings, they certainly wouldn't intervene for trivial matters that could be handled by their subordinates. With so many different races gathered in this city, misunderstandings were often unavoidable.

"Alright," Lein said briefly. He reopened the map given by Veyron. On the surface of the holographic map, a large circle marked their current location, providing a clear depiction of the surrounding area.

"The nearest realm in the outer area is the Sanctus Lux Realm, inhabited by the Seraphin race," Lein stated, lifting his gaze towards Aleron and Tauriel.

The two exchanged glances before nodding in agreement. No one objected.

Without wasting time, Lein closed the map and stepped towards the main road. They needed to use public transport to reach the portal to that realm.

Their group was quite large. Behind them, Laras led over two hundred crew members, ensuring no one was left behind.

Thanks to the map and Tauriel's experience in navigating the Dominion, they quickly found an airborne vehicle that would take them to the city center.

After a few minutes of travel, they finally arrived at an area surrounded by massive walls. A huge gap between the walls revealed a terrifying sight—a gigantic hole gaping in the sky, resembling a wormhole that absorbed light around it.

Their vehicle continued moving, passing through the large wall gap. When it finally stopped, Lein and his group disembarked one by one.

In front of them, a massive terminal stood firm, filled with route listings to various destinations. Holographic information flickered in the air, displaying details of prices, teleportation routes, and options for individual or group travel.

Lein selected their destination—the Sanctus Lux Realm. The travel cost was clearly displayed before him: 1 gold cosmic coin per person.

"Quite expensive for just one person," he muttered under his breath, slightly displeased. Even so, with his fortune amounting to billions, this cost should not be an issue.

Without delay, Lein configured the teleportation method to group mode, ensuring the entire entourage could move together. He raised his hand, allowing the Dominion Entry Pass bracelet on his wrist to emit a faint glow as the payment was automatically processed. The cosmic coin balance he had preloaded was instantly deducted.

"I have registered our journey," he said, turning to the others. "Teleportation will commence in one minute."

Everyone nodded, some beginning to prepare themselves. This was their first time experiencing teleportation through such a large portal.

Lein looked up, observing the colossal portal standing before him. Its color was a bright blue, glowing like the boundless sky of the universe. However, at its center was a swirling black vortex that slowly rotated—like an unseen eye gazing into the depths of infinity.

Lein's mind was filled with questions. How was this created? How far was its range?

Before he could find any answers, a strange sensation began to creep over his body. He felt something enveloping him—soft, almost like being wrapped in silk.

Then, pressure came from all directions.

In an instant, his body felt pulled upward, as if completely losing its weight.

Light flooded his vision.

Then everything went dark.

In a blink, his consciousness returned. Lein blinked a few times, adjusting to his new surroundings.

He was still standing in the same place—or at least, it seemed so. But something was different. The air here was warmer, and an unfamiliar scent drifted into his senses. Stay connected with My Virtual Library Empire

The people around him were no longer the same faces he had seen at EON Gateway. Different races walked past him, wearing distinctive attire he had never seen before.

Beside him, Tauriel and Aleron were also regaining their awareness, exchanging glances before turning toward the ship crew and students who had accompanied them.

They had arrived. In the Sanctus Lux Realm.
