This is because the likeability system, which is only for the original protagonist, combines the initial likeability and normal likeability, and on top of that, all characters except Homo-kun have a special status called stress value.

Stress levels are more of a "final boss" than the final boss itself in an RTA. The higher the stress, the more likely debuffs will be applied. Dependency is one of those debuffs.

Stress levels increase when the character experiences hardships or injuries.

Injuries, in particular, cause stress to rise rapidly if left untreated, so it's important to be cautious when doing an RTA (5 losses).

This is one of the reasons why a mage family that can use healing magic is suited for RTA.

To lower stress levels, you can fulfill requests, release stress through events, or have meals. One of the most effective methods is to keep Fou by your side. Just having Fou nearby provides the benefits of animal therapy, which reduces stress accumulation and helps lower stress levels significantly.
