Amazing Grace took a slow step forward, her heeled boots clicking against the metal floor. "Do you know what your beloved Raiden is up against?" she purred, her voice sweet yet venomous. "Darkseid has become something beyond comprehension. A god among gods. Raiden won't survive the hour. And when he falls, Earth will burn, and you'll have no one left to save you."

Kori's green eyes burned with intensity as she raised her fists, radiant energy crackling around her. "You don't know him," she shot back. "Raiden doesn't give up. He'll destroy Darkseid and come back to us. And when he does, you'll wish you never set foot on this battlefield."

Raven stepped forward, her gaze cold and steady. "You're wasting your breath, Grace. We're not here to talk. Let's finish this."

Grace smirked, extending her hands as tendrils of black energy erupted from the floor, writhing like serpents. "So eager to die. Fine."

The tendrils lashed out, snaring Kori mid-flight. They tightened around her torso, the energy seeping into her skin and dimming her glow. She struggled against the binding, gritting her teeth. "Ugh! Let me go, you coward!"

Raven's eyes glowed with dark power as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Chains of shimmering light materialized around her hands, snaking through the air and slicing through the tendrils. Kori dropped to the floor, landing in a crouch.

"Thanks, Raven," she said, standing quickly and igniting her energy once more.

Raven nodded, her gaze never leaving Grace. "Stay sharp. She's just getting started."

Grace laughed as dark, humanoid constructs materialized around her, their forms flickering like shadows brought to life. "Let's see how well you handle despair."

The constructs charged, their movements unnaturally fluid, like smoke made solid. Raven raised her hands, summoning a translucent barrier that shimmered with dark energy. The constructs slammed against it, their claws raking futilely at the shield.

"Stay close," Raven commanded, her voice calm but firm.

The shield pulsed outward, sending the shadowy figures tumbling back. Raven stepped forward, extending her hand. "You want to play with darkness? Let me show you how it's done." She melted into the shadows, her form vanishing entirely.

Kori took to the air, her fiery hair trailing behind her like a comet's tail. "Your minions are pathetic!" she yelled, unleashing a barrage of Starbolts. The projectiles streaked across the room, each impact creating an explosion of light that illuminated the dark chamber.

Grace moved with inhuman grace, dodging each blast effortlessly. "Is that all you've got, princess?" she sneered.

Kori smirked, her voice defiant. "Not even close." She clasped her hands together, summoning a blinding surge of energy. "Solar Flare Burst!"

A wave of radiant light erupted from her, engulfing the room and forcing Grace to leap backward, her constructs disintegrating in the brilliance.

Grace snarled, raising her arms. A pulse of dark energy radiated outward 'a Discordance Wave' that struck Kori mid-flight. Disoriented, she tumbled through the air and slammed into the wall, her body leaving a dent in the metal.

"Still think you can win?" Grace taunted, approaching with slow, deliberate steps. Her tendrils writhed hungrily around her. "You're strong, but love makes you weak. It's a shackle you'll never break."

Kori groaned as she pushed herself up, her glow flickering but undiminished. "You don't get it, do you? Love isn't a weakness. It's what gives us strength."

Raven reappeared behind Kori, her cloak billowing as she materialized from the shadows. "You good?" she asked, her voice low.

Kori nodded, brushing dust from her armor. "Yeah. Let's take her down."

Grace chuckled darkly, raising her hands as dark tendrils erupted from the walls and floor, forming a writhing cage around them. "Oh, I'd love to see you try."

Raven's eyes narrowed. "Kori, light her up."

Kori shot upward, her entire body glowing like a miniature sun. "Here's something you can't dodge!" She unleashed a concentrated beam of energy that burned through the tendrils, forcing Grace into the open.

Grace growled, summoning another wave of shadow constructs, but Raven was faster. She darted between the figures, her form shifting and melding with the darkness. "Azarathian Chains!" she intoned, her voice echoing ominously.

The chains wrapped around Grace's limbs, pulling her to the ground.

Kori didn't hesitate. She flew in, releasing a flurry of Starbolts that exploded against Grace's armor, each impact chipping away at her defenses.

Panting, Grace glared at them, her eyes glowing with malevolence. "Enough!" she screamed, summoning a massive sphere of crackling dark energy. The oppressive force of it made the air feel like it was being sucked out of the room.

Kori hesitated, but Raven grabbed her arm. "Together," she said.

Kori nodded, her hands blazing with green fire. "For Raiden."

"For Raiden," Raven echoed, her voice steady.

Kori unleashed a massive surge of solar energy while Raven channeled her full Azarathian power. The two forces combined into a swirling vortex of light and shadow, streaking across the room and slamming into Grace's sphere.

The collision created a deafening explosion, shaking the entire ship. Grace screamed as the energy overwhelmed her, her body dissolving into nothingness.

The room fell silent, the oppressive darkness lifting. Kori and Raven stood side by side, their breaths heavy.

"That was... a lot," Kori said, wiping sweat from her brow.

Raven smirked faintly. "We made it."

Kori glanced out a nearby window at the distant Earth, her expression softening. "Think Raiden's okay?"

Raven's eyes followed hers. "He has to be. He's not the type to leave us behind."

Kori smiled, her glow returning. "Yeah. He'll come back to us. He always does."

The two shared a moment of quiet resolve before turning toward the ship's exit, ready to face whatever came next.

....

The Mors Vitae groaned as if it were alive, the ship trembled with Mortalla's power. Necrotic energy surged through its walls, casting eerie green light onto the bone-like floor. The speedsters Barry, Wally, and Bart...stood side by side, their bodies tense, lightning flickering around them in an electric symphony. Mortalla floated above them, her dark gown writhing like shadows made flesh.

"You worms dare challenge me? I The Wife of Darkseid and Queen of Darkness?" she hissed, her voice like nails scraping against glass. Her glowing eyes pierced through the dim chamber. "Do you truly believe your fleeting speed can match the eternal love of a god? My Darkseid gifted me this strength. It is eternal. Unyielding."

Barry clenched his fists, stepping forward. His voice was calm but carried a steel edge. "You're strong, Mortalla. I'll give you that. But you've got one big problem."

Mortalla tilted her head, amused. "Ho? And what would that be?"

"You're slow."

Barry shot forward in a flash of yellow lightning, his every movement precise. He darted left, then right, creating afterimages that confused Mortalla's senses. Wally and Bart followed suit, their red streaks weaving around her in perfect synchronization.

Mortalla snarled, her Decay Lash snapping out like a whip. It cracked against the air, sending shockwaves through the chamber. Bart barely ducked in time, feeling the sting of necrotic energy graze his shoulder.

"You're playing a fool's game" Mortalla sneered, her voice reverberating with malice. "This vessel is a monument to death itself. My power grows with more death this battle produces, I don't need to be fast, for I am where death lingers"

"huh! yeah right! to bad for you, we Ain't dying today!?" Bart retorted, darting behind her to create a vortex of wind. His movements were quick, his arms a blur as he spun to destabilize her footing.

Mortalla laughed, her voice dripping with venom. "Cute. But futile."

With a flick of her wrist, black tendrils erupted from the floor, twisting like hungry snakes. They lashed out at Bart, ensnaring him in a Bone Cage that pulsed with dark energy. Bart struggled, his speed faltering as the cage drained him.

"Bart!" Wally yelled, zipping toward him. Mortalla anticipated the move, snapping her Decay Lash toward him in a deadly arc. Wally dove, rolling across the ground with an agility that rivaled any acrobat. He sprang back to his feet, lightning dancing around his body as he sprinted toward Mortalla.

Barry intercepted, vibrating his body to phase through Mortalla's lash just as it struck. The necrotic energy sliced through the air where Wally had been moments before, carving a deep gash into the floor.

"You're getting sloppy, Mortalla," Barry said, his voice steady despite the burn on his arm. The necrotic energy had left his skin seared and trembling, but he stood firm. "Is that all the love of Darkseid can do?" 'damn it we can't approach her without her sipping away at out life energy'

Mortalla's eyes flared with rage. but ultimately calmed herself saying "I can see you are indeed in pain, pretending to be strong are we? fine let me show you more! I'll show you the depth of his love!" She raised her hands, and a wave of black mist enveloped the chamber.

The speedsters froze as the mist coiled around them like a living thing, pulling them into its depths. Mortalla's laughter echoed through the void. "Let me show you the truth of your insignificance. Mortals"

....

Wally found himself standing in a quiet park, the golden hues of sunset casting long shadows. The warmth of the scene was jarringly at odds with the ache in his chest. Artemis stood before him, her arms crossed, her face cold.

"I can't do this anymore, Wally," she said, her voice trembling but resolute. "You're not him. You're not Barry. You never will be."

Her words hit harder than any punch. "Artemis, wait—"

She turned away, walking into the shadows. "I need someone stronger. Someone faster." Her figure faded, leaving Wally rooted in place, his heart heavy with the weight of inadequacy.

....

Bart's world was chaos. He knelt on a battlefield, the sky blood-red, the air thick with smoke. His hands trembled as he cradled Carry's lifeless body. Her blonde hair was matted with blood, her green eyes staring into nothingness.

"This is your fault," a voice growled. Raiden stepped forward, his expression filled with contempt. "You weren't fast enough. You let her die."

Bart's heart shattered as he screamed into the void, his tears falling onto Carry's pale face. "I'm sorry! I'll fix this—I swear!"

....

Barry stood in his living room, the familiar scent of home replaced by the metallic tang of blood. His family lay lifeless around him—Iris, Nora, even Wally. Reverse-Flash stood over their bodies, his grin mocking and cruel.

"Too slow again, Barry," Thawne sneered. "You'll always be too slow."

Barry's chest ached, but his resolve didn't falter. He clenched his fists, his voice steady. "Not today."

Barry vibrated violently, shattering the illusion like glass. The mist dissipated around him as he glared at Mortalla, his eyes filled with steely determination. "Nice try, Mortalla, but I've seen worse."

He turned to Bart and Wally, sending a surge of lightning to snap them out of their nightmares. Bart gasped, his breath ragged, but he quickly steadied himself. "Carry! Carry ! I'll Protect her. No matter what."

Wally lingered in silence, his eyes distant, the illusion leaving a scar that refused to fade.

Barry looked at her and said "We're back, pay attention everyone" he then turned to Mortella and said "If that's all, then it's time to end this"

She looked at him with anger at how quickly he escaped her illusion, but once again calmed her self saying "For Love" as she started to do something

The chamber groaned like the belly of some great beast, trembling under the weight of Mortalla's power. Necrotic energy roared to life, swirling into a dark vortex above her. The edges of the room cracked and splintered as the ship itself seemed to recoil from the intensity. Mortalla floated at its center, her voice rising in a guttural chant that seemed to pierce reality itself.

"This world will know the eternal love of my lord!" Mortalla's voice reverberated through the room. "The kiss of decay will shroud its surface. Cities will crumble, heroes will fall, and life will rot under Darkseid's glory!"

Barry could feel the magnitude of the energy she was summoning, its destructive force reverberating through the Speed Force. It wasn't just another attack—it was extinction, a cataclysm that would incinerate Earth's defenses and leave humanity vulnerable to Darkseid's conquest. There wasn't time to think, no time to plan. He had only seconds before she unleashed it.

"Barry!" Wally's voice cracked with desperation. "What do we do?"

Barry's mind raced, analyzing every possibility, every variable, and arriving at a grim conclusion. His chest tightened. "There's no time to stop her energy completely," he muttered under his breath. He turned, his voice steady but carrying the weight of finality. "I'll absorb it."

"No!" Bart's voice rang out, sharp and frantic. "We can figure something out—together! You don't have to—"

Barry cut him off. "I do." His tone was firm, unwavering. He looked at them both, his eyes burning with determination. "Listen to me. Earth needs you. Wally, Bart—you're the future. If this attack gets out, there won't be a world left to save. I can buy you a fraction of a second. That's all you'll need."

Mortalla raised her hands, the vortex above her reaching its crescendo. The entire ship quaked as bolts of dark energy crackled across its surface. "Embrace annihilation!" she howled. The vortex pulsed, and Barry knew it was now or never.

Barry surged forward, his form igniting in a brilliant storm of yellow lightning. He didn't hesitate, his body moving faster than it ever had as he threw himself directly into the vortex. The energy was searing, tearing into him with an intensity that threatened to rip him apart. He gritted his teeth, screaming through the pain as he spun at impossible speeds, creating a counter-vortex to hold Mortalla's attack.

"NOW!" he roared, his voice strained, but filled with power.

Wally's eyes widened. The memory of the Phantom Zone flashed in his mind—a time when speed wasn't just an ability but an absolute necessity. He had reached speeds in that hellscape that defied logic, outrunning the very forces of entropy. Barry's sacrifice created the opening, but it was up to Wally to end it.

Red lightning erupted around Wally, his body vibrating with raw power. His every step was a seismic event as he tapped into the depths of the Speed Force, surpassing every limit he had ever known. For that single millisecond, he matched Barry—no, he surpassed him. He struck Mortalla with a single blow, a precise strike to her heart.

The impact was catastrophic. Mortalla's necrotic form crumbled, her shriek echoing like a dying star. "Darkseid!" she screamed, her body disintegrating into ash, her power dissolving into nothingness

The aftermath was quiet—too quiet. The green glow of the chamber dimmed as the vortex dissipated, leaving Barry kneeling in the center. His body flickered, fading in and out of existence, his form dissolving into pure energy.

Bart was the first to reach him, tears streaming down his face. "Dad! You're okay—you have to be okay!"

Barry smiled, his face serene despite the agony wracking his body. "Bart…" His voice was faint but steady. "You've done more than I could have ever hoped. Coming back… gave me the chance to see the man you're becoming. I'm proud of you, son."

Bart's sobs wracked his chest. "I—I couldn't save you. I wasn't fast enough."

"You are fast enough," Barry whispered. "You always were."

Barry turned to Wally, placing a trembling hand on his shoulder. The lightning between them sparked faintly, a final exchange between mentor and protégé. "Wally… you've always been the heart of the Flash family. It's your time now. Take care of Bart. Take care of Earth."

Wally's throat tightened as he took the Flash emblem Barry handed him. "I'll make you proud. I promise."

Barry's flickering body began to glow, his edges fraying like static. "Protect… our family," he said, his voice softer than a whisper. He smiled one last time, then vanished, consumed by the Speed Force in a flash of golden light.

Wally and Bart stood in silence, the weight of Barry's sacrifice settling over them like a shroud. Bart wiped his tears, his hands trembling. "He's… he's really gone."

Wally closed his eyes, clutching the Flash emblem tightly. "Barry Allen, the Flash, sacrificed everything to save Earth. He's gone, but his legacy isn't." He took a deep breath, his voice filled with resolve. "We'll honor him. We'll protect Earth. No matter what."

Lightning sparked around them, a symbol of the mantle that now rested on Wally West's shoulders. Barry Allen was gone, but the Flash would live on—a hero forged in sacrifice, speed, and love.
