Fairy Tail: Becoming stronger by spending money.

Chapter 46: Chapter 46 Questions About The House

When Ur joined Fairy Tail, the process was smoother than expected.

Although Ur's new body meant her near-Holy Ten strength was basically gone, fortunately, when Caesar made her body, he used part of her original body ice, so Ur's talent was not lost.

After just a week of training, Ur's strength was already enough to defeat the current Gray.

Because of this, Gray was depressed for a few days.

Of course, Caesar and the others were very tight-lipped about Ur's resurrection, so everyone just thought she was an ordinary magician.

Master Makarov could tell something, but seeing Gray no longer brooding and even smiling brightly again, Makarov couldn't bear to question it.

They were all his children, so pampering them a little was fine.

He just pulled Caesar aside and told him not to tell anyone.

Caesar wasn't stupid, so naturally he agreed.

But after everything settled, Caesar had another thing to think about.

His housing situation.

He had always lived in the attic of the guild.

At the time, he didn't have any extra money to worry about accommodations.

No matter how much he earned, it was all spent on powering up his deck.

But now, with the deck temporarily completed, he could slow down.

Master Makarov noticed this too and was ready to drive Caesar out.

Even Mirajane and her siblings had gone to rent a place, yet Caesar still lived in the guild.

More importantly, Caesar wasn't short on Jewels.

Just his income from potion orders alone was enough to buy a mansion.

But Caesar found luxury houses too troublesome.

Cleaning a mansion? No thanks.

And hiring someone while he's barely home? Even worse.

So after being gently kicked out of the guild, Caesar contacted the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce to look for a house.

He quickly picked one: a two-story 200-square-meter building, just ten minutes from the guild.

It was a little worn down, but incredibly cheap.

"Lucky! I got the property rights for just 2 million Jewels," Caesar smiled as he stood in front of the house, roof full of holes.

It looked bad, but a deal was a deal.

In his past life, a house like this for less than 100,000 would have been a dream.

And the damage? Nothing his trained repair skills couldn't handle.

With some repair materials costing under 20,000 Jewels, he activated his alchemy array.

In under five minutes, the old wooden structure was transformed into a reinforced concrete and bluestone building.

He remodeled the European-style interior into a cream-themed decor.

Where appliances weren't available, magic items filled the gap.

They were expensive but worth it for comfort.

Thanks to alchemy and the Philosopher's Stone, the renovation took under four hours.

To top it off, he installed a magic lock, similar to a fingerprint lock, needing his permission to open.

"Alright," Caesar said, clapping his hands.

The house was complete.

Inside, the low-saturation milk coffee and white colors gave it a soft, homey feel.

"New home, time to cook then shower," Caesar rolled up his sleeves.

He summoned Sanji, Yukihira Soma, and Komatsu using Take Over magic and strolled into the kitchen.

...

"Charcoal-grilled Barcelona leg, baked artemisia with pine nut butter, pan-fried dreamy fish fillet, plus rice—perfect!"

With all three chefs, Caesar grinned at the gourmet spread and carried the food to the dining room.

But as he passed the living room, over a dozen hungry eyes locked on him.

Caesar froze.

"Too tired... am I hallucinating?" he muttered, backing into the kitchen.

"Don't run! Everyone, get him!"

"For the food!"

"Leave some!"

"Love! I caught the fish!"

"I said no, but they didn't listen!"

"I'm hugging you! Come on everyone!"

A stampede followed.

Caesar was swarmed and his food vanished in seconds.

Mirajane clung to him tightly.

"Enough! I locked the house—how did you get in?!"

"Love! The second-floor window was unlocked!" Happy cheered.

"Ahem, we heard you moved in, so we came to celebrate," Makarov said while munching on the Barcelona leg.

Caesar stared at him in disbelief.

Having no choice, he cooked again using the ingredients everyone brought.

A giant table of food was served, and finally, Caesar sat down to eat.

Though annoyed, his heart felt warm.

He wasn't alone.

He had a family.

After the meal, Makarov handed him a mission.

Caesar looked at it and was surprised.

It was a cooperative mission to defeat a Dark Guild, involving another guild: Mermaid Heel.

"They want you to help," Makarov said.

"You can refuse. I'll assign someone else."

Caesar shook his head.

"I accept," he said.

Not just because of the mission, but because he wanted to see someone.

Kagura.
