Eternal Primordial: Tragic Soul United

Chapter 63: Gifts

When Valen returned home, he fell asleep and got some rest because he planned go return to duty tomorrow.

That was until he woke up in the morning.

When he woken up by his wife, to see her holding their one year old son, Theodore, who didn't quite look the same.

He was slightly bigger, his skin was much more vibrant, and it looked as if he was much more aware than he was prior to this morning. The most important difference Valen notice, being the Lord stager that he is, he could sense mana funneling into Theodore as if he was a mana magnet.

That's when he noticed his son had gained a mana core, though it wasn't fully formed yet it was still the foundation of a core.

He was dumbfounded how could this….

Before that thought could finish he remembered, he remembered what Horo had said.

His next thought was how, how did a young nine year old do something like this. Was Horo more special than he initially thought?

"Was Horo truly a kid? Was his story even true? Was he really something divine, maybe even a deity's vessel?"

He thought all of this, before he came to his senses and snapped out of it.

No, Horo had to be real, that family was truly burned out of existence as the evidence showed.

Horo's pain and personality couldn't be faked.

When he finally came back to reality his wife spoke "It's not just Theodore love, go talk to the others and you'll be even more surprised.

Valen nodded and went to check on his two older children.

Victoria rushed up to her dad with a look of worry on her face as she threw herself into his chest.

She asked "Dad what's wrong with us? Why do I feel weird, and why do I have a bunch of strange memories that I don't recall having before today?"

Valen asked in return "How do you feel sweetheart?"

She said "It's as if my blood is alive and energized. I can feel it coursing through my veins, and I can feel… I don't know, I think it's the information contained within it."

She continued "Some memories I now have tells me that it's a bloodline that our family has, and I have awakened it somehow. Benjamin said it's the same for him.

"Benjamin as well?" He as he looked towards his oldest son.

Benjamin replied "Yes father, me and big sis have weird memories, but we also have some new awesome skills that don't seem to be normal."

Victoria cut in "We have memories related to how the technique is used and performed, memories of masters reaching great heights with the techniques, and different ways people comprehended them."

Valen just face palm himself, and after a while he said " You guys have Horo to that for the gifts, I forgot he told me he gave you some, I just couldn't come near to guessing it would be something as outrageous as this."

"So this is Horo's doing"

Valen heard Alexia from behind him.

He responded "Yea, that kid is a complete anomaly. I wonder did he leave us anything , it seems he only left me with a harder job of raising these spoiled brats."

His wife responded "Actually honey, he did. He left a note but I was waiting on you to read it."

She then gave him the note Horo left on their dining table.

After reading it Valen wore a huge smile, then said "Well it looks like we can look forward to seeing him again."

He wore a smile and spoke positive but internally hoped Horo will make it through the treacherous journey ahead to be able to make that a reality.
