She had guessed that after so many days of back and forth, even if cut off from news, His Majesty of the Selsa United Kingdom must be aware of the domestic happenings by now, and it would be impossible not to be prepared.

Ye Nai was not in a hurry. She didn't rush towards the Royal Palace but instead returned to the East Ridge Secret Realm, allowing the spores in the Royal Capital to further grow and cover the entire city before going there again.

If one could be a Laoliu and outsmart everyone, why bother fighting the enemy alone, armed with just a few guns?

Calculating the time difference, it would be just a few minutes to a few dozen minutes spent strolling through the Secret Realm or Blue Star.

Inside the East Ridge Secret Realm, dawn was breaking.

In the tent area by the river where the captives slept, everyone was in deep slumber, with the remnants of a campfire drifting in front of the Baron Knight's group of tents.

Looking at the Duke's family, they had seized a lot of tents early on, all pitched up to form a semicircle, which indeed looked imposing. Still, with no water, no food, and no fire in the middle of the semicircle, everyone was sleeping in their tents hungry.

Ye Nai didn't care how they would struggle on their own, as when she returned to allocate work, they would all have to work for her obediently, or they would continue to go hungry.

After checking on the Wizard and the servants, Ye Nai returned to Blue Star.

The evening glow lingered on Blue Star.

She had come over in the morning, followed the guidance of the spores, and by three o'clock in the afternoon, she had reached a new Military Fortress. Then she allowed the spores to grow and strengthen while she wreaked havoc in the Otherworld.

After one round trip, only a little time had passed here.

Before she left, she had buried a Heart Core from the Otherworld in the soil, and now the mycelium under the soil had already grown impressively.

But it was still not up to her requirements, so Ye Nai, using the Secret Realm as a transit, returned to the Royal Capital of the Selsa United Kingdom.

A few minutes had passed as she shuttled between the Secret Realm and Blue Star, and several hours had already gone by here, with the spores still striving to grow and cover the entire city. After all, as the capital of a nation, the Royal Capital had sizable grounds, so it took more time.

But the courtyard of the Military Fortress where she was is an absolute safety zone. She took out her trailer, set an alarm for two hours, and planned to take a rest, having not dozed off since she got up this morning.

The time difference between the Otherworld, Secret Realm, and Blue Star were all different, with each change of location potentially bringing daylight, nighttime, early morning, evening, morning, or afternoon. To save herself the trouble, Ye Nai simply followed her body's needs—eating when hungry, drinking when thirsty, resting when tired, and sleeping when drowsy.

No rush, she could sleep a bit more.

Waking up well-rested six hours later, she got out of bed feeling refreshed, stepped out of the camper, felt the temperature under the gloomy sky, and immediately took out an electric awning to block the cold from outside. Then, she brought out her personal living facilities, brushed her teeth, washed her face, cooked food, and the boiler in the single-person bathroom was heating water.

After eating and drinking her fill and taking a comfortable hot shower, Ye Nai dressed in warm clothes and sat in the camper's cockpit seat, sipping on a freshly-brewed teabag tea. She sensed the current spore coverage rate in the city and nodded in satisfaction.

Finally, the entire city was covered.

Each spore was a marker, and with them, Ye Nai had a map of the Royal Capital in her mind. She could clearly identify the buildings and streets, even the sizes of the buildings and the streets.

It was just a matter of counting the spores—the larger the house or street, the greater the number of spores.

It was like looking at a pixel map.

Among all the large houses in the city, Ye Nai immediately located the Royal Palace and ordered all the people in it to be knocked unconscious.

After that, she screwed the lid back onto her teacup, packed up everything, put on her sports camera, and instantly teleported into the Royal Palace, appearing in the most solemn Political Hall.

The tall, empty Political Hall was deserted, not even a cleaning servant in sight, its doors tightly shut.

Out of curiosity, Ye Nai walked up to the throne and casually rubbed her hand on the armrest.

Her hand came away dusty.

Ye Nai immediately sensed something was amiss.

Even if Your Majesty didn't hold meetings every day, such an important place should be cleaned daily, right? How could it accumulate so much dust?!

The Political Hall seemed not only unused for a long time but also uncleaned, abandoned?

Ye Nai immediately commanded the spores that filled the palace to collect every man, woman, old person, and child into the Space for her to inspect.

In a matter of seconds, a group of people in various costumes entered the Space with a crash, many with traces of food on their faces and chests as if they had been eating when they collapsed.

Ye Nai estimated the current time; indeed, it was midday.

But upon closer inspection, something seemed even more wrong.

It didn't look like the Political Hall had been abandoned, rather the entire Royal Palace seemed abandoned.

Among the people caught by the spores, there were only soldiers and servants; the soldiers' equipment was decent, but the servants, both men and women, were all dressed in coarse clothes, indicative of low-level, rough work, without delicately dressed stewards or officials in sight.

Ye Nai pointed her finger in the air, reciting the incantation to select the troops and officers, arbitrarily picking out a maid, clutched half of her voice box, and woke her up.
