"Attack!" Mika's command sent the ten thousand elite soldiers behind him surging forward.
Facing the Empire's charge, the Revolutionary Army responded in kind.
"Attack!" Najenda roared, and the hundred-thousand-strong army of the Revolutionary Army clashed with the Imperial forces.
There were no elaborate formations or cunning strategies; it was a brutal, primal clash of wills.
But amidst the chaos, the most striking figure wasn't the charging soldiers, but Mika, driving his chariot at the forefront of the Imperial army.
"Trample them! Gordius: Wheel of Heaven's!"
"Moo! Moo! Moo!"
The divine oxen bellowed, unleashing bolts of Divine Lightning as Mika charged towards the Revolutionary Army's lines.
"Argh!"
"Aaah!" The battlefield echoed with Mika's excited shouts and the screams of the soldiers sent flying by the Chariot's charge.
Najenda, watching from the city walls, felt her heart sink.
"What is that?"
"Is it a new Teigu of the Empire?" Lubbock asked, his voice filled with shock.
But no one could answer his question.
"This isn't good…" Najenda muttered, observing the battle and the dwindling morale of her troops.
Facing such an opponent, the ordinary soldiers were powerless.
"We can't hesitate any longer!" She turned to Lubbock. "Initiate Phase Two. We'll focus our attacks on the Emperor."
"Understood!"
Lubbock leaped from the wall, ready to join the fray.
It was time for them to fight with everything they had.
...
...
"Hahaha! Is there anyone willing to challenge me?!"
Mika laughed, wielding his Spear as he rampaged through the Revolutionary Army's ranks.
Against the Gordius Wheel, the ordinary soldiers were helpless.
He occasionally encountered skilled fighters within the Revolutionary Army, but they were no match for his Spearmanship.
Although he intended to recruit talented individuals from the Revolutionary Army, this was a battlefield.
Only those who survived had a future.
"Stop, you bastard!" With a furious roar, a golden blur appeared before Mika. Leone swung her fist at his head.
But Mika wouldn't be hit so easily.
Without using his spear, he blocked her attack with his left hand, catching her fist.
"Such a weak punch can't defeat me!" He tightened his grip, and Leone cried out in pain.
"Leone!" Sheele shouted, rushing to her aid.
Mika's chariot had come to a stop during his confrontation with Leone, providing Sheele with an opportunity.
She lunged forward, her Teigu, Extase (Scissor Blade), aimed at Mika.
"Oh, is that Extase?" He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, then grabbed Leone and threw her at Sheele.
"Leone!" Sheele quickly retracted her Teigu, not wanting to harm her comrade, but the impact sent her sprawling.
"Argh!"
"Damn it!" Though the fall was hard, Lionelle enhanced Leone's durability and regeneration, allowing her to quickly recover. She stood up, shielding Sheele, who was still on the ground.
"I'm sorry, Sheele!" Facing Mika, she dared not help Sheele up.
"It's alright," Sheele said, getting to her feet despite the pain. "Don't worry; we're companions!"
She opened her Scissor Blade, ready to fight alongside Leone.
"Oh, the power of comradeship?" Mika chuckled, as if amused by their determination.
He urged the divine oxen forward, driving the chariot toward them. "Then let's see how strong your bond truly is!"
"Look out!" Leone shielded Sheele from the oncoming chariot. "I'll stop him!"
Just as the chariot was about to strike them, a figure appeared before Leone.
<><>
"I'll be the one stopping him!!!"
"Argh!" Bulat, clad in the silver armor of Incursio, grabbed the necks of the divine oxen, bracing himself against their charge.
With a mighty roar, he stopped them in their tracks.
But he wasn't satisfied. He lifted the oxen and hurled them aside, flipping the Gordius Wheel.
"You're quite strong, Bulat," Mika commented, leaping from the chariot before it crashed. He landed gracefully.
Just then, a figure emerged from the shadows behind him.
Sensing the killing intent, Mika instantly understood; their trump card had been played.
"Now, Akame!" Bulat shouted.
Mika, suspended in mid-air, was the perfect target.
Akame lunged forward, aiming a killing blow.
"Do you really think you can succeed?" Mika chuckled softly.
The ring on his finger dissolved into particles, and he vanished from Akame's sight, replaced by a figure clad in armor.
"Ignite! With this Ring of Flames, I Command Thee!" Flames erupted from Mika's body, radiating intense heat in all directions.
The temperature soared.
Akame's attack was interrupted as she was caught in the blast, sent flying backward.
"Argh!"
She wasn't the only one. The fiery shockwave sent many others sprawling.
Mika, propelled into the air by the flames, looked down at the scene with a satisfied grin.
"This Teigu's flame enhancement is quite impressive."
"Now to test its physical enhancements." He clenched his fists.

...
"Damn it! How many Teigu does he have?!"
Leone exclaimed, struggling to get to her feet as she watched Mika, hovering in mid-air and wreathed in flames.
As far as they knew, a single Teigu user could only wield one Teigu.
Even with Mika's modified Teigu, which reduced the burden on the user, wielding two simultaneously was already considered extraordinary.
But he had already used two new Teigu, in addition to his original one.
The sheer number was unimaginable.
"It's no use complaining. This is the best-case scenario," Bulat said, getting to his feet and planting his spear firmly in the ground.
"The Emperor seems intent on handling us himself. Kurome and that maid, haven't joined the fight."
"This gives us a chance, however small. If they had intervened, we'd be overwhelmed by now."
"So stop complaining and focus! We need to seize this opportunity."
"He's right. Let's give it our all!" Akame agreed, stepping forward. Sheele joined her.
"Indeed, it's time to fight for our lives," Lubbock added, appearing beside them.
The remaining Teigu users of Night Raid had assembled, ready for their final stand.
"All here? Then let's begin!" Seeing them gathered, Mika unleashed a burst of flames from his back, propelling himself towards them.
His speed was astonishing.
In the blink of an eye, he was upon them.
"He's fast!" They barely had time to react before he attacked.
Mika reached out with his bare left hand, grabbed Lubbock's head, and hurled him away, then pressed him to the ground as he flew forward, creating a deep furrow in the earth.
"Lubbock!" The others shouted in alarm.
Mika ascended once more, his body curling into a ball before unfurling, revealing a pair of white wings that ignited, transforming into wings of fire.
This was a modification he had added, incorporating technology and materials from Run's Teigu, Mastema.
After all, who would choose to run when they could fly?
The armor itself granted flight, but with the added boost from the flames, Mika's speed was terrifying.
In the blink of an eye, Lubbock was gone.
"You can't even perceive my speed. Are you really my opponents?" he taunted, looking down at the four who were helping Lubbock to his feet.
He then descended swiftly.
"Don't underestimate us! We can keep up!" Bulat shouted, swinging his spear at Mika.
But to Mika, his movements were predictable.
He easily dodged the attack, then, shifting his position in mid-air, slammed his spear downward.
Bulat braced himself, gripping his spear with both hands to block the blow.
But the impact sent him crashing to the ground, creating a crater beneath his feet.
The shockwave sent Akame and the others sprawling.
"Ugh!" Bulat coughed up blood, his armor cracking and falling away in pieces.
But he remained standing, his spear planted firmly in the ground for support.
"You're resilient, Bulat," Mika commented, hovering above him.
"Of course!" Bulat gasped, his body swaying as Mika's pressure lifted. Blood flowed freely from his wounds.
"Bulat!" Leone cried out, her voice filled with anguish.
"Damn it!" Akame slammed her fist into the ground, her anger mounting.
She had been tasked with assassinating the Emperor.
As the wielder of One-Cut Killer: Murasame, this task fell to her. She was Night Raid's ace.
And she had accepted the mission.
But now, in just two moves, two of her comrades were down. And she, their strongest fighter, hadn't even landed a blow.
This was a heavy blow to her pride.
"I…must win!" Staring intently at Mika, Akame slowly rose to her feet. She then slashed her arm with her blade.
"Akame!" Leone shouted, but Akame's expression remained calm.
Murasame. Anyone cut by its blade was instantly killed by its cursed poison.
There were no exceptions. Even Akame had to be incredibly careful when handling it.
However, few knew that this Teigu possessed a hidden ability, an ultimate technique accessible only to those it recognized as its true master.
By cutting herself with the blade, the user could channel the cursed power to enhance their physical abilities, but at a great cost.
But Akame didn't care.
"Argh!" As the cursed power surged through her, excruciating pain coursed through her body, but her will remained unbroken.
Black markings spread across her skin, even appearing in her eyes.
But she paid them no mind. Her gaze was fixed on Mika, filled with killing intent.
