Chapter 830: Familiar form (3)
Bang!
The golem of a younger Khione unable to withstand the sudden assault of Frost's big hand was sent flying into the opposite wall, balancing the score between them.
Khione -the adult version- stood at the side with blinking eyes, confused by Frost's ease in handling her younger self. Their strength was almost equal and ignoring the fact that it was a literal adult facing off against a child the result shouldn't have been like this. She looked forward to seeing him being pushed back, to falter against a much younger opponent. She relished at the idea of seeing the highly talented Frost who had not once not twice but constantly surprised her, floundering in defeat. Only then would she finally feel that gnawing itch being scratched and sated.
It wasn't easy for her to accept that someone unknown who showed up out of the blue had even greater potential than herself even more so when it was a man, a man that her father and even mothers were constantly flattering.
But unfortunately her attempt to release some of that sourness appeared to have failed.
"Are you really that shocked?" Frost uttered from the centre of the training room as he once again readied his spear to deflect the bullet like golem that reengaged for another bout.
Surprisingly his control over her wasn't just a fluke, with eery skill his spear met with hers, their brief contact booming with every clash. The trade in blows was fast, sharp, deadly and filled with immense force. The sonic booms alone caused the floor, ceiling and four walls of the room to vibrate. Yet despite this fierce one sided aggression Frost barely moved an inch. The brute force and rampant aura was easily intercepted and or deflected to the side, not even having the slightest chance to brush against his body. So confident in his control Frost even reduced the thickness of his chakra armour, improving his speed and flexibility.
From an outsiders perspective it was as though Frost was the master who was teaching his young student as opposed to the other way around.
A result Khione for the life of her really didn't expect. Her eyes blinked in confusion and her head tilted to one side as she heard Frost's question.
"Haaaaaa I expect that had you envisioned a very different outcome occurring right?" Frost let out a sigh, managing to talk without much difficulty to Khione despite the rapid assault of the golem.
Like an innocent child Khione nodded her head, completely ignoring the subtle disdain in his sigh.
"Watch for a moment with clear eyes and it'll become obvious." He didn't choose to mock his young partner at this moment or perhaps he didn't have as much luxury as he portrayed regardless Khione did as he asked. She looked at the movement of the two individuals with fresh eyes, doing her best to eliminate any bias.
"Eh?" It didn't take her long to understand the crux of the situation.
"Unfortunately for you this is not the first time I've battled with an intricate golem that donned the appearance of someone I'm familiar with." He emphasised the word familiar in a somewhat teasing tone knocking Khione a little off guard before continuing. "Back in my early days Maya summoned golems with her near identical appearance and had me fight with them non-stop for hours until my body was broken and bloody but unlike you she merely reduced their power levels, their minds and fighting styles however were similar to her own." The golem that was generated by the training room however used knowledge of a young Khione, taking on more than just her strength at that age but also her mannerisms and more importantly her severe lack of battle experience.
The golem may have power equal to his own and a mastery over her weapon that surpassed his by probably more than a single level, but her moves were…predictable. Restricted to following the movements of a set fighting style, solidifying her foundation but lacking when it came to using it in a real fight.
Khione quickly noticed that unlike her current self the golem was mostly charging headfirst into battle and even her attempts at feints and distractions were openly telegraphed as though she was loudly announcing her every move to Frost. Such simplicity allowed him to easily contain the little raging fireball with minimal movement and strength.
And as though mirroring her origins upon seeing her aggressive attacks fail miserably against an opponent with skills beneath her own the golem simulated rage and acted as a young Khione would. She attacked with even more fervour, those small but growing muscles bulged and rippled as she pulled back her spear, adding her innate brute strength to her blows hoping to simply overwhelm the weak adult with her great power.
"Hoh!" Her moves may be predictable but that power and aura that was now getting tossed into the mix with weapon skills had Frost raising his brow. Her current advance wasn't as easy to deal with; he may even have to use a skill or two of his own but in the end she still wouldn't be able to pose much of a threat to him. Their experiences were just too far apart after all.
Despite the lack of true danger however he still felt that it would be a good opportunity to both train and get back at his mischievous little date.
Khione who expected a fierce clash had to watch with wide eyes, her upper lip occasionally twitching as a rush of anger or embarrassment exploded in her heart. That damn naughty pervert repeatedly took advantage of her young self, commenting on her body as he stroked her youthful cheeks, sighed at the lack of curves and muscles he had come to adore and the worst of all was his daring to spank the golem's ass in front of her, threatening and teasing her with his eyes. She wanted to slap him so much, but her pride kept her in place. This little show was of her own making, and she needed to accept the consequences.
Of course there was a limit and if Frost foolishly crossed it she'd likely snap and regardless of her position she'd march straight up to him and pound his ass into the ground. She would not be insulted and mocked especially in her own home by a man so far beneath her.
Frost was aware of this little line of hers and skilfully teetered on the edge, never giving Khione enough reason to snap and he enjoyed every second of it.
Boom!
After a vigorous twenty or so minutes of Frost analysing and rebuffing the unbridled attacks of the Khione shaped golem he finally decided to end it. The damage upon her crystal ice body had accumulated over time and eventually after repeating the first attack he made on her, her body shattered into hundreds of fragments as she slammed against the wall that by this time sported vast craters and deep gashes.
The training room provided by the Crystal Boundary wasn't to the same specs as the one back in the Dungeon. The walls couldn't repair themselves and any remnants of bodily fluids wouldn't mysteriously vanish after a few minutes. Living people would have to repair any damage, replacing the broken with fixed and replacing anything lost with new.
As though enjoying the lasting sensation against his palm Frost brought the hand he used to shatter the Khione shaped golem before his face. He then glanced at the near seething true Khione and smirked. "I don't think a move like that is physically possible against you anymore, is it my dear Khione?" He mused playfully. His hand somewhat attempting to replicate what would happen if he tried it on her causing the young woman to blush from ear to ear as both anger and shame clashed against each other in her heart.
"….Damn pervert!" She screeched, covering her ample chest with those thick muscular arms of hers. Even when she wasn't the one being molested he still found a way to make her heart flutter and shame run rampant.
"Heheheh pervert…yes, yes I am but I'm a pervert with only the finest tastes that I can assure you." His gaze roamed over her body, leaving no area unappreciated. An action that both moved her and made her feel even more embarrassed. It was as though she was completely defenceless before this big bad wolf.
Frost enjoyed the view thoroughly before reigning it in so as to bask in the vestiges of enlightenment he managed to experience thanks to his fight with the young Khione.
'Her movements were similar but no longer beyond most of my comprehension.' Before when he trained with Maya and Khione to a slightly lesser degree their moves were beyond his ability to properly understand and replicate. Like a primary school student who suddenly sat in on a university lecture, he could listen and remember but not understand the meaning.
With his clash with the Khione shaped golem however he was able to extrapolate a few key traits that helped him better understand both his mastery of the spear as well as the crucial third stage of the [Lunar eyes] which even now he struggled to activate whenever he wished and for longer than a brief second or two.
This fight was not just enjoyable but very effective, he'd have to make sure he thoroughly thanked Khione for it at a later time. For now however he was still keen to mess with, poke and prod her ego until she gradually became putty in his hands.
