Chapter 829: Familiar form (2)
Frost gazed at the adult Khione; his eyes filled with inquisition. He wondered why his opponent was in the form of a young her.
His look caused Khione to once again don that mischievous expression, a naughtiness that seemed to have existence since her childhood.
Frost was correct in his suspicions; she didn't choose her younger form by random chance. There was a means to her decision, one that may not be necessarily beneficial but certainly comical.
With confidence and no small amount of arrogance Khione rose to her staggering 3 metre height, straightened her back allowing those so called 'burdens' to thrust themselves into the space before her, lightly bouncing with her movements and moving in tandem with her breath. Sexy, alluring and unbelievable teasing in the eyes of the young man starved for affection.
Alas the contempt and mocking in her eyes was too blaring for him to ignore. So annoying was her look that his hands imperceptibly curled into tightly balled fists. If you were to describe Khione's face right now with a single word it'd be 'Slapable'.
"Though you managed to defeat the ice bolt traps and even the four ice golems without much difficulty I wonder how you'll handle fighting me….not the current me of course but a child version, an opponent better suited for your…current level of strength." Her tone was laced with mocking, her words like daggers that could pierce through the thickest armour and her smile like the weight of a mountain pressing down on his body, forcing him into a pit of shame and remorse.
She was firing on all cylinders, leaving no weakness unprobed. His finances and pitiful strength being her foremost points of attack. Her only real avenue given that Frost was so slippery and smooth when it came to a clash of words.
"Urgh!" All Frost could do in the face of such obvious mocking was stumble in his steps and bravely resist the surge of blood that was threatening to rush up his throat.
'So infuriating!' The most annoying thing was that he had no counter to her words; he truly was weak in comparison. Summoning her past self-albeit insulting was actually fairly appropriate.
Khione felt a wave of satisfaction upon seeing Frost nearly cough up blood, it was so exhilarating to see him suffer a defeat. If her younger self, with its childlike body was actually able stomp him under her heel in addition to this then she couldn't even imagine how satisfying that would be, her hopes were running high and the glint in her eyes betrayed this expectation furthering Frost's building fury.
'This damn bitch really wants to see me flounder like a worm, a mere ragdoll which she can have her fun with whenever she damn well chooses…well then Khione my dear two can play at that game. You want to mess with me then I won't hold back any longer.' Until now he was still somewhat restraining himself, attacking with the occasional sonnet of admiration, flirtatious praises, heated gaze and charming smiles but now it was time to up his game.
Daki someone who was considered quite the player with a treasure trove of experience had to hold her hands up in defeat when it came to his natural skills. After a mere few months the once naïve young man had risen into a bracket comparable to hers. Khione and her innocence held no chance against him when he chose drop all pretences.
If Freyja and Skadi could see this scene they'd both be smiling from ear to ear, knowing full well that their little girl had just provoked a hornet's nest. Frost's subtle smirk and the fire in his eyes belayed that truth.
Alas they had to wait in wonder, unaware of their activities until the two left the training room and continued their little date across the realm.
After making a vow in his heart to make Khione squeal beneath him and scream for mercy Frost refocused his mind for battle. A golem had no emotions, it's appearance may resemble Khione's, and her fighting style may be the same, but she was not Khione. She or rather it could not form independent thoughts, it would follow orders clean and simple, there would be no reasoning with it. Plus given Khione's current expression it was unlikely in fact scratch that downright impossible that she ordered it to go easy on him.
He was set for a fight of his life, if he held back any punches he'd likely see himself face down on the hard ice floor or find himself becoming a part of the walls.
What Khione didn't know however was that this wasn't the first time he was facing off against a golem clone. Maya enlightened with a similar training method in the past though she didn't chose to insult him with a younger version of herself rather she used her own form. A choice that brought her some initial enjoyment but by the end she discovered that her vindicative and rather perverted master had taken advantage of it. Letting his hands and body rudely make contact with the golem's skin and body parts that resembled her own and or used her image as an outlet for his aggression, sometimes aiming for the face and only the face.
Maya quickly learned that her mischievousness couldn't match the skills of her master and now lover, he was a natural bad boy who could walk circles around her. If Khione thought she'd fare any different, then she was a fool.
Although the golem of Khione's younger self didn't sport those devasting curves that he sorely lusted after she did have her face and her mannerisms. Any slight against her would be hard to not feel personally.
He raised his spear into position, activating the first two stages of the [Lunar Eyes] as though it was natural and covered his weapon in both aura and ice flames, going all out from the start.
"Eh?" Khione didn't expect Frost to take this fight so seriously, it was just a game, an opponent she devised for a bit of fun. She sensed a premonition of danger or something similar but she'd already notched the arrow on this bow, so she had to see it through.
With a graceful swipe of her hand she ordered the training golem to begin its demolition, the edges of her lips once again starting to rise. So what if Frost geared himself up for a serious fight, that didn't mean he could easily confront her younger self, she wasn't a prodigy for nothing.
Even if her strength was technically a little below his her mastery of both the spear and the Niflheim royal family's spear arts far surpassed him. Even with her naturally endowed talent she was put through the ringer since the moment she could wield a weapon. Her foundations were unshakeable, and her lessons far more advanced than those Frost had received so far.
Just like how Maya could easily kick his ass with power weaker than his own Khione was 100% confident she could do the exact same.
There was no countdown, no firing of a magic spell, gong or even an exchange of words. The moment she inputted the order into the crystal obelisk the young Khione golem entered kill mode.
Her naturally naughty expression that belayed a playful nature warped into one of extreme focus and burning aggression. She tapped the butt of her spear against the ice floor sending her aura billowing outwards, generating a wave of pressure that made Frost's brow raise in surprise.
'It's so dense.' Just like himself Khione owned royal aspected aura, a type of aura that tended to easily dominate over regular aura even in cases where it was in a weaker position. The hallmarks of it being its greater density and quality as opposed to regular aura as well as its way to enforce submission through more than natural fear. Like a monarch sitting high upon their throne, looking down on one of their subjects.
It was rare to have this aspect, especially from the moment of their aura's initial conception but among those at the top of the food chain it wasn't all that uncommon. Khione having it wasn't strange at all. What was surprising however was how developed it was despite her obvious youth.
'Seems I really need to increase the level of my training.' Seeing a young version of his date partner so easily match his strength at such a young age lit a fire in him. Instead of a sense of inferiority he was emboldened and therefore when he saw the young lithe figure suddenly charging at him with her eyes lighting up with a silvery glow and her spear primed and ready with devastatingly sharp aura he smiled wildly and welcomed her into his deadly embrace.
His own spear hummed with life as though looking forward to a clash with another of its kin. Using all Khione had taught him and all he had learned from his many battles he calmly touched the young Khione's spear with his own, using skill and softness to redirect her impressive brute strength into the floor by his left side.
For a brief moment he had managed to activate the third stage of the [Lunar eyes] slowing down the golem's movements to a crawl and in that moment he pushed her aside calmly and with almost perverse control. His actions were not so dissimilar to the adult Khione's when she taught him.
What happened next was a shock to the muscle goddess, Frost who she fully expected to be under great pressure chuckled before placing one of his hands flat against the golem's chest, an area that was far more protected on her current body and simply pushed sending the younger version of her flying through the air like a ragdoll.
He returned his disgrace with the poise and elegance of a martial arts master.
