It was another day in the dungeon, and their was even more work for the dungeon dwellers to finish.

Knox had decided to move work to the second floor, allowing his kobalt kin to rest for a while.

He looked down at the frozen floor enjoying the way the snowflakes flew through the air, Knox found that it was extremely beautiful.

So knox has been planning it for awhile, all he had to see now was, if it would work

Knox used his mana imagining a male kobalt forming, Knox started to feel a large amount of mana being pulled away from him.

Infront of Knox at the cost of 100 mana sat a small goblin, it was quite frail, seemingly only skin and bones….

Knox wondered….

"If I had used more mana, would he have come out better, and less sickly"?

It was a question Knox knew he need to answer, so he repeated the process, this time thinking of a woman goblin.

Knox felt a large amount of mana being removed from him, and gathering in front of his feet.

This time Knox didn't limit the mana used and allowed it to take around 370 mana…

A large storm of mana surged in front of the small goblin, blowing him away, what stood in place if the mana…..

A large 6 ft goblin woman, with a body packed with muscles, she had bright red hair and shining amber eyes, she was gorgeous sight for a goblin atleast.

Knox looked down at the goblins, he decided he would make these two kin, giving the floor atleast two strong protectors.

So Knox thought of names for the two

"Hmm how about Hibiscus for the girl, and since the boy was so small"…

Knox feeling clever.

"How about Dianthus,symbolizing Knoxs deep affection for the two new family members".

So Knox named the boy Dianthus and the girl Hibiscus, he felt that both names were perfect.

Knox knew that just two goblins wouldn't be enough to create a settlement, so Knox decided he would use 50 mana on 7 more goblins.

Ding used 350 mana

Soon in front of Knox stood 7 small goblins, they wouldn't be very strong, but dont underestimate their intelligence, they can be quite crafty.

Knox looked at the 7 goblins and though to himself.

"Well none of these are impressive enough to name, they can just help populate".

Knox designed these goblins as canon fodder, feeling it was better to not even name them.

Now that knox was just about out of mana, he decided that now would be the best time to give the goblins a makeshift orientation.

Knox began using his dungeon god voice sending shivers though the goblins,powerful winds began picking up throughout the floor.

The goblins could feel a large source of mana above themselves, causing some to instantly kneel down.

Knox spoke loudly.

Hello my new children, I am your creator.

You may address me as the dungeon god.

The goblins were shocked, they couldn't see anyone, but someone was definitely talking to them.

Hibiscus hearing this sneered, and said.

"Our god pssh, you must think im dull"

Hibiscus laughing mockingly.

"And how are you going to prove it"?

Knox really didn't like her tone, however he liked her strong personality, he decided he would show her some of his power.

Knox used 25 mana, sending down a lightning bolt striking Hibiscus…

Hibiscus got sent flying, she rolled across the grass multiple times before stopping face down, the goblins looked at the burn mark etched onto her back permanently.

It was brutal, Knox did it because he knew that with a personality like that, also came a person who would stab you in the back for personal gain…

Knox left a message in the goblin tribe's mind, that he hoped they would never forget…

Do not cross your creator, it will be the most terrible mistake of your lives.

Slowly after around 19 minutes and constant prodding from Dianthus, Hibiscus had woken up.

She felt an intense fear spreading throughout her body, her chest was deeply hurting.

Knox noticed that her breath's were becoming more and more scarce.m, she was in a weak state after the lightning had struck her.

Hibiscus looked down at her grass shirt, she had soiled herself, her face turned red at the thought of her tribesman seeing it.

Knox who had watched the Kobalts for this short period, resumed what he had to say.

My children, please do not push your luck

My love is eternal, but so is my fury!!!

The entire floor shook, the intensity of the mana, made even the snow stop, the goblins all fell down on to their faces, even Hibiscus unable to raise her head.

So to continue, you are the second of my kin, you must make sure to get along.

The first of the kin are the kobalt kins, and now we welcome you the goblin kin.

The last thing I must say is, soon you will be able to leave, I will be allowing free interaction between the floors.

Finishing what he had to say, Knox knew he needed to rest and so, he fell into a deep sleep.

And soon 4 days had passed, while Knox was peacefully resting, he had only woken, because the system had sent him a alert…

Ding host, the intruders have made their way inside…

Prepare yourself, enemies are invading the host dungeon, prepare your defenses for battle!

Knox knew it was time for his next challenge, and he felt a mix if fear and excitement, as he was thinking about what, was to come…
