The flickering hologram of Thanos loomed in the middle of the room, casting long shadows as it rotated slowly—an eternal reminder of what was coming.
Nick Fury stepped forward, his face as stone-carved as ever, eye narrowed with calculation.
"How much time do we have?" he asked, voice low.
Carol crossed her arms and exhaled sharply."That's the thing—we don't know."She looked around the room. "He's got the Space Stone. Meaning he could literally appear anywhere, at any time. Even now."
A thick silence fell over them before Carol continued, her tone shifting.
"But there's something else... Something I didn't expect."She swiped through her display, bringing up intercepted intergalactic chatter—dozens of species and factions whispering the same word:
"Dragon God."
"They're talking about Aiden," she said. "Word has spread—faster than fire in a vacuum. They're calling Earth a dead zone. Not because it's doomed, but because no one dares get close anymore."
"You're serious?" Banner asked.
"Very."She nodded."Ships avoid our quadrant altogether. Merchants, pirates, warlords—everyone. Some say Earth is under divine protection. Others believe it's been claimed."
Toni leaned forward with a smirk. "Claimed, huh? Our little demigod growing up so fast."
"They're comparing him to the Celestials," Carol added. "Saying he's beyond even them. Not just because he beat Galactus… but because he spared him."
Steve blinked. "Spared him?"
"Exactly. Aiden proved something scarier than power—control."She looked around. "Killing Galactus? That would've sent one message. But beating him into submission and letting him live? That's godlike behavior. That's domination."
Fury scoffed. "And you think that's enough to deter Thanos?"
Carol met his gaze. "I think even Thanos hesitates. Maybe not out of fear—but out of respect. Or caution."
"Even his existence is buying us time, and we can't be bothered to invite him to a damn strategy meeting?" Toni snapped, arms crossed. "The guy saved the world twice and half this room still acts like he's a walking nuke with legs."
"Because he is," Steve muttered.
Carol ignored it."Nova Corps will be here in a week. They're sending an envoy to establish formal ties with Earth. Let's be honest—Earth never mattered to the larger galaxy. But now? Two Infinity Stones. And a new cosmic player."
She hesitated.
"There are rumors he's the ruler of Earth."
"Wait, what?" Nat raised an eyebrow.
"I've been trying to stamp them out," Carol clarified. "But it's hard. A lot of people out there believe Aiden Blake is Earth's supreme leader. The message is clear—he commands, Earth obeys. That kind of rumor changes how planets deal with us."
"Well that's besides the damn point," Fury said, slapping the console to change the display.
Now: fleet schematics. Deployment maps. Contingency protocols. Threat level red.
"We need power. Unity. And numbers. That means rallying Earth's governments, calling in favors, and getting Thor, Wakanda, Asgard, Kamar-Taj—everyone—ready."
He turned, squaring up with Stark.
"Toni. You've been glazing the kid more than a Christmas ham. Time to cash in those brownie points. Go tell him what's coming."
Toni smirked."You want me to deliver a planet-sized 'We're sorry, please help us' basket?"He stood. "Fine. I'll bring cupcakes too."
"I'm coming with you," Carol added, grabbing her jacket.
Toni blinked."What, you don't trust me with him?"
"I trust you. I just don't trust you to not make it weird."
They headed for the exit.
"Hey—" Toni called out over his shoulder. "Someone prep a camera. This is gonna be the first time in history Earth's mightiest heroes go ask a teenager not to let the universe end."
...
"I know already," Aiden said, calm and composed, as he leaned back into the sleek black leather couch. He crossed one leg over the other, eyes half-lidded, as if the subject at hand was just another Tuesday errand.
"You can sit if you'd like," he added casually, his tone dry as sand. Then, with a smirk aimed at Stark, he gestured lazily at the room around them. "Place literally was bought with your money."
Tony raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. He took the offered seat without protest, letting his back fall into the couch with a light thud. Carol followed silently, sitting at the edge of a chair across from Aiden, arms crossed, gaze narrowed.
"So," Tony started, "you knew?"
"Because of her." Aiden didn't bother pointing again. He just tilted his head slightly toward the other end of the couch—where a woman lay sprawled out like a deflated balloon, legs over one armrest, head barely visible over the couch's back.
Her presence wasn't subtle. The massive purple horn jutting from her forehead screamed of something… cosmic. There was a certain impossible gravity to her aura, like reality itself bent politely to make room for her existence. But she wasn't doing anything godlike. She was playing on a battered Wii U, furiously smashing buttons in a game that beeped and blipped cheerfully—Mario Kart?
The woman turned slightly toward them, eyes still glued to the screen."What?" she asked Aiden flatly.
"Nothing, keep playing," Aiden replied.
Carol and Tony looked at each other with confusion before Tony gestured. "Who the hell is that?"
"Galacta," Aiden said, tone as nonchalant as ever. "Daughter of Galactus. Apparently a big fan of Earth culture or something like that."
Carol blinked. "And you trust her?"
Aiden didn't answer. Instead, he tilted his head back toward Galacta again."Galacta. What am I to you?"
Still not looking away from her game, she replied, "My lord and god, future lover for sure. I exist to serve the savior of Earth."
Carol raised an eyebrow slowly, awkwardly. "She worships you…"
Aiden held up both hands, defensively. "Eh, I didn't ask for it, okay? It just happened. And as my loyal girl, she got me intel on Thanos. I even know that he's already clashed with Adam Warlock… and came out on top. Forced him to run off and take that Nova Corps alliance deal just to stay in the game."
Tony blinked, sitting upright. "Already? That's not good."
"But there's something I don't know," Aiden continued, ignoring Tony. "The Soul Stone. I can't find it. I've tried. Nothing pings. Strange has the Time Stone—no surprise there—but that's not gonna help us."
"You sure?" Tony asked. "I was kind of hoping he could do some time-y wimey stuff. Freeze Thanos. Rewind the fight. That kind of thing."
Aiden snorted. "Sure, he can. On most beings. Mortal ones. You know… people that live and die on schedules. But someone like me? It's just a stone. I can walk out of it. And Thanos with four Stones? Forget it. You'd be lucky if time functions correctly around him."
Tony grimaced. "Well, that's depressing."
Carol leaned forward. "So what's the plan then?"
"Honestly?" Aiden said, arms spread, voice flat. "Simple. We wait for him to come… and we beat the hell out of him."
Tony chuckled dryly. "That's it? 'Beat him up'? Four Stones. Giant fleet. Reality-warping god monster."
"Don't get me wrong. Four Stones is a big deal," Aiden said, looking out the window. "I'm not underestimating it. But I can handle Thanos. What I'm worried about is something else."
He turned back to them.
"Knull."
The name dropped like a boulder.
Carol leaned back in her seat. "What's his deal anyway?"
"I don't know yet. I believe he's trapped, somewhere far beyond our plane. But he's still moving things. Still whispering. He had connections to the High Evolutionary. And now… Thanos."
Aiden stood up and walked over to the window, looking at the sky
"Thanos doesn't need to invade Earth to get the Time Stone. He could've just snuck in and taken it from Strange directly. Same for the Soul Stone—if he had leads, he'd follow them in silence. But instead? He raises an entire fleet. A full cosmic assault on the planet."
He turned back to them, eyes glowing faintly."That doesn't sound like Thanos. That sounds like Knull. Or someone pushing him from behind."
Silence.
"So… we prepare for two wars," Carol said quietly.
Aiden nodded."Exactly. One with Thanos. One with whatever Knull is planning. But they'll both hit Earth. That much I'm sure of."
Tony stood up, cracking his neck."Well, thanks for the hospitality," he said, tapping the table. "Nice place. And you're welcome, by the way."
"Mm," Aiden hummed.
Carol gave him one last glance. "If it comes to it… will you fight with us?"
Aiden smirked."Depends. If tony pays me double this time, then I'm In"
Tony laughed as Carol rolled her eyes
