The TV buzzed out the last of a press conference. Onscreen, the new Vice President—flustered but determined—faced the media.

"The new S.H.I.E.L.D. will uphold the highest standards. We are ashamed to have been infiltrated by an enemy we believed buried decades ago."

With a click, the screen turned black.

Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, now President of the United States, turned in her seat to face Aiden Blake. The lights in the room seemed dimmer with him there. His very presence shifted the air like a storm barely held in check.

She gave a weary sigh.

"Hell of a shit show you made, kid."

Aiden didn't sit. He stood before her, arms crossed,

"Yeah, a shit show I should be thanked for. But what did I get instead? Labeled World Enemy Number One."

Valentina scoffed lightly, her voice sharp. "Your actions were unpredictable. You killed a dozen senators in cold blood. You couldn't possibly expect me to—"

"Your own Vice President was a goddamn Hydra operative!" Aiden shouted, slamming his hand on the desk hard enough to crack the reinforced wood."I killed seventeen targets who worked within this very building—right next to you—every day. What do you think would've happened if Red Skull had ordered your execution, huh? I. SAVED. YOUR. FUCKING. LIFE."

Valentina stared at him, stone-faced. "And I appreciate that. But I also need you to understand... actions like that put you above the law. And in this country, no one is above the law."

Aiden laughed—a dark, sharp laugh that echoed in the chamber. He leaned forward, voice dripping with disdain.

"Don't preach to me, Valentina. I'm not Thor. I'm not the Hulk. I'm sure as hell not Iron Man. You have nothing to hold me back.""If I wanted to—if I desired it—you and this entire nation would be wiped off the goddamn map in seconds."

Valentina rose to her feet, face tense."IS THAT A THREAT!?"

"No." Aiden's eyes glowed with subtle energy as he leaned in close."That's a fucking statement. There is nothing you can do to stop me. Not you. Not your nukes. Not your Avengers.""In one month, I've saved this planet from two world-ending threats. I should be worshipped as a god.""But I don't want that. I just want peace. I want people to live without scum like Hydra pulling their strings. I want truth. I want freedom. But what do I get? Treated like a villain."

He stepped back, his voice quieter now—but every word cut like sharpened steel.

"Understand this, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. I play nice... you play nice.""But cross me? And I will kill you. Just like the others."

Aiden turned, walking toward the exit. The silence in the room was suffocating. But just before leaving, he paused at the doorway and glanced over his shoulder, his gaze gleaming.

"Oh… and just so you know…""I've already killed and defeated a Sentry before. Yours won't be any different."

"So don't think your little O.X.E. organization can save you from me."

He stepped out, his voice the last thing she heard:

"Good night… Madam President."

....

A TV flickered with the image of a news anchor, voice calm but reverent.

"Aiden Blake, Earth's newest hero—dubbed by the public as the Dragon God—has just been awarded the highest possible honor: the Medal of Honor. President Valentina has issued a formal apology, declaring his previous status as a threat to be the result of a departmental error. She stated that Aiden's actions not only saved the world but also protected the United States—and her personally."

Click.

The screen went dark as Captain America—Steve Rogers—stood near the console, arms crossed and jaw tight.

"He threatened the president."

Toni Stark, lounging nearby, didn't even look up.

"As he should've. The kid saved the entire planet. Twice. And how was he thanked? Branded a terrorist."

Bruce Banner spoke next, calm but serious."He did defeat Alpha. And he exposed Hydra's infestation—something we've been chasing for years."

"His attitude is still a problem." Steve replied, firm.

From the shadows, Natasha Romanoff leaned forward."True. But let's not forget—he wiped Hydra out completely. Something we've all tried and failed to do since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D."

The elevator dinged.

"Wow." came a smug voice."I go off-planet for a month, and the Dragon Kid's still the headline topic?"

Captain Marvel—Carol Danvers—walked in, brushing off her jacket.

"Oh, finally," Toni quipped. "Was getting bored listening to Captain Jealous over here moan about the kid."

"I'm not jealous," Steve said through gritted teeth, "of a reckless teenager with anger issues and too much power."

"Yeah, yeah," Toni waved him off. "We get it, Cap. You hate efficiency when it doesn't come with a flag and a moral lesson."

"Enough," Carol said. "I've got good news... and bad news. About the thing I warned you about."

Fury entered the room mid-conversation, his tone gruff."Let's hear it. You said someone's planning an invasion."

Carol looked to him, then the rest of the room."Yeah. But first..." she glanced at Stark."Shouldn't we call Aiden?"

"We should," Toni answered immediately, "but half the people in this room get nervous when someone takes out the trash too efficiently."

Fury sighed, folding his arms."He's impulsive. And unpredictable. He might do something reckless... again."

"Reckless?" Toni fired back. "You mean standing alone against a planet-destroying monster and winning? That kind of reckless?"

"I hate agreeing with Stark..." Carol shrugged, "...but he's got a point."

Fury turned serious."Thor, T'Challa, and others are also not here... Just give us the info. We'll figure it out."

Carol nodded, then activated a holographic display.

Floating in the center of the room: a colossal alien fleet. And at its heart… a face. Grim, violet-skinned, regal and terrifying.

"This… is Thanos."

She continued."He's not just powerful—he's terrifying. He's already claimed four of the six Infinity Stones: Space, Reality, Power, and Mind. Each of those alone can warp the fabric of existence. All six? He could rewrite the universe."

The room fell deathly silent.

"And Earth?" Fury asked.

"The last two stones are here," Carol confirmed grimly."The Time Stone is most likely in the hands of Doctor Strange. But the Soul Stone… it's trickier. We've traced signals. Energy surges. But every lead vanishes. It's here—we're certain—but no one can find it."

Steve frowned. "And Thanos wants it all."

"Exactly. He thinks by invading Earth, he can complete his set. And with that army—" she motioned to the massive ships "—not even Galactus could stop him. Trust me… I've seen what's coming. Without Aiden, we're not enough. Not even close."

"So that's the bad news," Natasha said. "What's the good?"

Carol gave a small smile."The Nova Corps is joining the fight. That's one.""And the other?"

She pulled up another figure—glowing golden, handsome, eyes burning with divine power.

"Adam Warlock. A cosmic guardian. He's sworn to protect the universe from Thanos. He's en route. If anyone else can stand toe to toe with the Mad Titan… it's him."

Everyone looked to the hologram, their thoughts the same.

A war was coming.

And whether they liked it or not… they would need the Dragon God.
