Dragon Ball: The Strongest Training

Chapter 51: Princess Sial

Krillin heard the soft, gentle voice and snapped out of his fascination with the mysterious carvings. Slowly, he raised his head to look at the speaker.

For a moment, Krillin froze, utterly captivated. His gaze locked on the woman before him. He was genuinely stunned. "She's absolutely breathtaking," he thought.

The owner of the voice was dressed in an ancient red battle robe. Her long, silvery hair flowed like the Milky Way, and her clear, glass-like eyes shimmered with a crystalline brilliance. Her lips, as delicate and glossy as cherry blossoms, contrasted with her pale, weak complexion.

What captivated Krillin the most were her eyes—bright, pure, and filled with a spark of intelligence that seemed to dance like stars. He felt himself lost in their brilliance, unable to react.

Krillin's gaze was bright but respectful, more an appreciation of beauty than anything else.

"Ahem!" Skaar, noticing Krillin's trance, coughed lightly and whispered, "The princess is talking to you!"

But Krillin, lost in thought, didn't seem to hear Skaar at all.

Seeing this, Skaar nudged Krillin and repeated, "The princess is talking to you!"

"Huh? What?" Krillin finally snapped back to reality.

Princess Sial, seeing Krillin's reaction, offered a gentle smile that seemed to light up her weak expression. "Were you the one who saved Skaar's squad?" Her voice was like the soft chime of silver bells, soothing and melodic.

"Uh… what? Oh! Yes, that was me," Krillin stammered, feeling a bit dazed.

Inside, Krillin mentally slapped himself. "How embarrassing! I'm supposed to be a warrior with a power level of 400,000, and I completely lost my composure!"

"I offer my sincerest gratitude on behalf of the entire Perseus people," Sial said, bowing slightly to Krillin.

Startled, Krillin quickly waved his hands in protest. "Oh, no! There's no need for that—it was the right thing to do!"

"Cough, cough!" Sial's weak frame trembled, and her face became even paler.

Skaar immediately stepped forward, concern etched on his face. "Princess, you must rest. I'll bring Krillin to see you later."

Princess Sial nodded slightly, her expression regretful. "Forgive me, but I must rest now."

Krillin looked at her frail figure, feeling a pang of sympathy. Such a beautiful and strong woman shouldn't have to endure such suffering.

"Please, take care of yourself," Krillin said earnestly.

Skaar added, "We bid you farewell, Princess!"

With the help of her attendants, Sial slowly made her way toward the central temple.

Krillin watched her retreating figure with a lingering gaze. "System, show me her details."

"Ding! Information as follows:"

Time: Aiji 757Name: SialRace: PerseusianPower Level: 155,000Potential: EnormousTraining Speed: Fast

"So, she's the princess of the Perseus people," Krillin murmured. He was stunned by her power level. For someone who looked so delicate, she had nearly 160,000 in power level.

It wasn't until Sial disappeared from view that Krillin fully snapped out of his daze.

"Ahem!" Skaar cleared his throat again, pulling Krillin out of his thoughts.

The contrast between Skaar's mischievous smile and the serene aura of the princess felt like being dragged from heaven to earth.

"Princess Sial isn't usually like this," Skaar said, almost teasing. "She's only so weak because of the injuries she sustained a few days ago. Normally, she's terrifyingly strong."

"Injured? Damn it! Why didn't you say anything earlier? I could've given her a Senzu Bean!" Krillin said, slapping his forehead in frustration.

Skaar scratched his head awkwardly. "…I forgot."

"Can we see her now?" Krillin asked eagerly.

"No," Skaar replied firmly. "The temple has sacred relics specifically for healing. The princess is being treated there."

"Damn it, Skaar!" Krillin muttered under his breath.

Skaar chuckled. "Come on, let's head to my place. Once the princess is healed, I'll bring you to see her."

As Skaar's words registered, Krillin's mind focused on one thing: "See the princess…"

Seeing Krillin's distracted look, Skaar couldn't help but tease him. "When you saw the princess earlier, you… well, let's just say you were very obvious about it!"

"You don't get it!" Krillin retorted. "There's a saying, 'Admiration for beauty is universal.' Forget it, I'm not explaining it to you!" With that, Krillin stomped off.

Skaar scratched his head, confused. What he had meant to say was: "Krillin was the calmest person I've ever seen when meeting Princess Sial."

"Hey, Krillin!" Skaar called out.

"What?" Krillin turned back.

"My house is this way." Skaar pointed in the opposite direction.

"I knew that!" Krillin said stubbornly, though he reluctantly followed Skaar.

As they walked, Krillin's thoughts raced. "Did I really act that awkwardly earlier? Was I too obvious? What if she misunderstood…"

If Krillin had known what Skaar truly meant, he would've been furious.

"Come in, Krillin," Skaar said, breaking Krillin's thoughts.

Krillin entered the house and examined its unique design. The walls bore carvings similar to those near the temple, though these were less distinct.

"Wait here," Skaar said as he walked into another room.

Krillin blinked, confused. "Huh?"

Moments later, Skaar returned, carrying a small box. He placed it in front of Krillin with a smile. "You need this more than I do."

Krillin carefully opened the box. "It's a Perseus stone."

"Ding! Scanning complete. Fully intact Perseus stone detected. Energy content: 50,000 units. Absorb now?"

"50,000?!" Krillin exclaimed. "That's incredible! I collected tons of ore on Planet Tuwang, and it only amounted to 100,000 energy units. How can just a few pieces be this valuable?"

"These stones are perfectly preserved," the system explained. "It's rare to find ones in this condition anymore."

Krillin decided to wait before absorbing the stone's energy since Skaar was still present. "I really do need these stones. Thank you, Skaar," Krillin said sincerely.

Skaar laughed heartily. "What are a few stones compared to saving lives?"

"Even so, thank you," Krillin said again.

"Have a seat," Skaar offered, tossing Krillin one of the green fruit-like snacks.

Krillin caught it and began eating as Skaar settled in. Suddenly, Krillin grinned. "Skaar, tell me about Princess Sial!"

Hearing this, Skaar perked up and spoke with admiration. "Princess Sial is incredibly strong. She's arguably the most powerful warrior of the Perseus people."

Krillin waited eagerly for more, but Skaar fell silent.

"That's it?" Krillin asked, disappointed.

"Yup, that's it," Skaar replied earnestly.

"How can that be all? Tell me more!" Krillin pressed.

"Well… Princess Sial wasn't always like this," Skaar began. "When King Perseus was still alive, she was always cheerful, polite, and worked tirelessly to improve her strength. She wanted to help her father fight off the invaders. She was a truly remarkable child."

As Skaar reminisced, a soft smile appeared on his face.
