Chapter Begins:

A massive explosion tore through the building floor by floor as Midoriya used Detroit Smash.

Meanwhile, Midoriya's partner, Uraraka, used her Quirk to pin down Tenya Ida, Bakugo's partner, with the debris and jumped on the payload, effectively winning the match.

Standing in the monitoring room in the building's basement, the students looked at it with awe.

For a moment there, it had felt like All Might had stopped the battle midway, seeing how both Bakugo and Midoriya had gone nuts, destroying everything.

However, Midoriya pulled a neat trick in the end, fooling Bakugo.

The match was over and Building A had been reduced to rubble.

After several minutes, and sending Midoriya to the hospital ward, All Might brought back Uraraka, Tenya, and a shaken Bakugo to the monitoring room in the basement of Building B.

"And the MVP of the battle is…" All Might said, pointing out, "… young Ida!!!"

Tenya's eyes went wide.

"But, sir, shouldn't the MVP be from the winning team?" Tsuyu asked.

"Hahaha!" All Might laughed. "Can anyone tell me why Tenya deserves to be the MVP?"

"Please, sir," Momo threw her hand up. "Let me. Tenya was the only one who wholly accepted his role in the situation…"

"What are you thinking?" Nyx whispered in Luke's ear as Momo ranted over the sporadic actions of Bakugo and Midoriya.

Luke wiped the small smile on his face, remembering how long Momo could go on while being like this. "I am thinking how to get more Ingredients from her…

"There's no way she hasn't figured out that there's something wrong with us. Otherwise, she wouldn't have planted a GPS tracking device on the limo. It means… she's getting serious about all this."

Before heading to confront Tomura Shigaraki in the forest, Nyx had hypnotized the driver to take the car through a planned route with one stop at a restaurant.

This had only been a precaution.

To their shock, they found a GPS tracking device on the limo later in the evening.

Spending his childhood under the watchful eyes of the CCTV cameras, and hidden monitoring devices, had left both Luke and Nyx traumatized, it seemed.

Now, whenever they got some time to kill, they did a full sweep of Luke's surroundings to catch any electronic devices.

With Momo being the most probable person behind such discrete monitoring, Luke had guessed it easily; his father wouldn't need to be discrete to have an eye on him anyway.

So, if Luke were to throw another request at her, he had an instinct that she would refuse him.

There's so far one could play with a young girl's curiosity, Luke knew. Sooner or later, she would lose interest, and then he would have to…

Luke buried the disgusting thought of hypnotizing Momo to get the Ingredients.

Every time he did something that went against his and his late wife's morals, the tips of his fingers throbbed, and his lips went dry.

However, Luke realized that, with the nature of his enemies, he had no choice but to do that if he ever wanted enough strength to stand against those incomprehensible existences.

But to outright manipulate a young Momo for his selfish means… Luke still found it an abhorring task to even think of.

"I have a… solution, I guess," Luke thought aloud as Momo finished the lecture, making Tenya's mouth hang low. "I will reveal… my true Quirk to her."

"Alright!" All Might said, making them quiet. "Time for the second battle. Rules are the same.

"Both Heroes and Villains teams will be given a strip of white cloth. Tying it on a player of the opposite team will mean capturing him or her.

"You will also have an earpiece to communicate with each other, but the players of different teams can't hear each other. All earpieces are connected to my earpiece.

"OK… here we go........"

All Might plunged his hands into the boxes next to him and pulled out two balls.

"Team B vs…" he showed the balls to the students, "… Team I!!!"

Luke shifted on his feet and found Todoroki looking right at him.

Team B was Luke and Momo and Team I was Todoroki and Shoji, and, from the color of the balls, Team B would be playing Heroes while Team I was the Villain.

"As before, the Heroes will be given 5 minutes to locate the payload and then set up their defenses," All Might instructed. "The Villains will be given a detailed plan of the building.

"Heroes! You can move out and enter the building from outside! Good Luck!!"

Luke and Momo collected the white strips and earpieces and walked out of the basement directly to the road outside.

Building B was exactly similar to Building A, having five storeys, but a different internal layout.

"Let's locate the payload, first," Luke suggested, seeing Momo gaining a touch of nervousness.

As they walked inside, Nyx flew away and, within a minute, they found the heavy missile-like prop on the third floor.

"What's your strategy?" Luke asked.

Momo's eyes narrowed. "Let me lead in this one," she said after thinking over it a bit. "Both your combat and Quirk are useless against Todoroki."

"Hey!" Nyx cawed as Luke smiled wryly.

"I am only being pragmatic," Momo explained, taking a deep breath to calm down her nerves. "We both know what Todoroki's Quirk is. If I am right, he would freeze us first, win the battle, and then unfreeze us."

Luke nodded, agreeing with Momo's sound reasoning.

Others might not know the full capabilities of Shoto Todoroki, but he knew, especially when he recalled the things from his previous life.

Shoto Todoroki was the son of the current No. 2 Hero, Flame Hero: Endeavor.

Because his mother had an Ice-based Quirk, Shoto possessed both heat and ice Quirk. He could generate ice from the right side of his body and fire from the left side.

In the Hand-to-Hand Combat, Todoroki had never used his Quirk and had always lost when paired against Luke.

But the boy had never minded that for one obvious reason — Given his Quirk, he could overwhelm any combat scenario, Todoroki believed.

So, when Momo said Luke's martial arts were useless, she was just stating the truth.

Moreover, Luke's Quirk, growing Nyx's size, would be useless in such tight spaces as well.

"I can create some heat-generating pieces of equipment…." Momo thought aloud, biting her nails, "… and place some barriers, but…"

"Nothing will be enough to keep him and his Quirk away from us for long…" Luke finished her words, smiling.

Momo frowned. "Why are you smiling?"

"Do you really want to win?" he asked, knowing well that All Might was listening, too.

It couldn't be helped, though. For him to digest the Apprentice Potion, and for him to secure future Ingredients, this was something he must do.

"What?" Momo's face fell. "Don't tell me you are thinking of giving up…"

Luke cut her off before she could finish, though.

"If you really want to win, we can win, because growing Nyx's size is not my Quirk," he said, making Momo's eyes go wide. "It is —

"— feeding her Inorganic Materials to give her different Quirks."
