It took less than five minutes for Lin Yongming to reach the village chief's side. By the time he arrived, the chief had already lost consciousness.

Seven villagers were gathered around him.

"Xiaoming! Xiaoming is here, everyone, make way!"

Upon seeing Lin Yongming, one of the villagers called out, and the others quickly stepped aside.

A relative of the village chief rushed forward anxiously. "Xiaoming, you're a Soul Master! My uncle was bitten by a viper—you must have a way to help him!"

"Uncle, don't panic. What's the chief's condition?" Lin Yongming asked immediately.

"The wound on my uncle's foot won't stop bleeding. We tried applying medicinal herbs, but nothing worked," the relative explained urgently.

Lin Yongming nodded. The venom of a viper typically had two types of toxins—hemotoxic, which caused excessive bleeding, and neurotoxic, which affected the nervous system. However, the vipers of Douluo Continent seemed different from those of his previous world. The village chief's wound wasn't just bleeding; he had also lost consciousness, meaning both toxins were at play—making the venom even more potent.

"No time to waste. I'll try using my soul power to expel the venom from the wound," Lin Yongming said decisively. He sat the village chief upright and placed his hand on the chief's back, channeling his soul power into him.

Lin Yongming wasn't entirely confident. His soul power was of the lightning attribute—excellent for offense, but perhaps not as effective for healing.

Still, he didn't voice his concerns, not wanting to alarm the villagers.

He carefully guided his soul power through the chief's body, directing it toward the injured left leg.

"Black blood! It seems to be working!" The village chief's relative, who had been closely watching the wound, noticed the bleeding had turned black—a sign that the venom was being forced out.

Lin Yongming remained extremely cautious, worried that using too much force could damage the chief's internal meridians.

"If only we had a healing-type Soul Master right now," he thought to himself.

"How's the chief doing?"

Lin Yongming's father, Lin Chong, arrived breathless after running all the way over. He immediately noticed his son treating the chief.

"Under Xiaoming's care, the village chief's condition has improved. His lips aren't as dark as before," a villager reported.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Lin Yongming continued the treatment for over ten minutes. Finally, he removed his hand from the chief's back and stood up.

"Yongming, is the chief alright now?" Lin Chong asked immediately.

The other villagers also looked at him expectantly.

"I've expelled most of the venom with my soul power, but some residual toxins remain. Since I'm not a healing Soul Master, the chief still needs professional treatment from the Martial Soul Hall's healing department in Urto Town. Otherwise, his life will still be at risk," Lin Yongming explained.

"Xiaoming, how long can the chief hold on? I'll go find a healer right away!" the chief's relative said anxiously.

"He should be fine for about three days, but just to be safe, we need to act quickly," Lin Yongming replied.

"Alright, I'm heading out now! Someone, help carry the chief home!" The relative prepared to leave when Lin Yongming stopped him.

"Uncle, let me go instead. I can use my soul power to reach the town much faster. You should focus on taking the chief home."

"No, Xiaoming, you should stay with the chief in case the venom worsens. Besides, you just used a lot of soul power. Even if you can get there quickly, the round trip will exhaust you. You're not even eight years old yet," the relative insisted.

Just then, a familiar voice came from behind.

"You all seem to need help. Let me take a look."

Lin Yongming froze for a moment. While speaking with the relative, he had been too distracted to notice his surroundings.

"Blind little brother, so this is where you are! I thought I took a wrong turn!"

Hearing the voice, Lin Yongming turned around, only to see someone he hadn't met in over two months—the Blue Silver Emperor.

"Uncle, you don't need to go to town anymore. We have someone here who can treat the chief," Lin Yongming said with a sigh.

"This little girl?" The chief's relative was puzzled since none of the villagers recognized her.

"He was poisoned by a viper? I can heal him—no side effects," the Blue Silver Emperor said confidently as she stepped forward and inspected the chief's wounded leg.

"Blue Silver Grass!"

She activated her Martial Soul, and as her soul power surged, a vibrant green light, brimming with life force, enveloped the village chief.

Compared to Lin Yongming's crude method of using pure soul power, her healing was far more refined.

Within moments, the chief's lips regained their natural color, the bleeding stopped, and the purplish wound healed completely.

"Done!" She clapped her hands cheerfully as she retracted her Martial Soul.

"That fast?!"

The villagers were stunned. If not for the faint scab left on the wound, they would have thought it was all just a dream.

"Every skill has its master," Lin Yongming thought to himself, acknowledging the gap in their abilities.

The Blue Silver Emperor's vitality was unparalleled. In the original story, even after sacrificing herself, her body still remained, allowing her to be revived later.

"Blind little brother, I arrived just in time, didn't I?"

"By the way, it's been so long—did you miss your big sister?" she teased.

"No."

"What?!" She pouted.

"Because I can't see."

"Uh…"

"Thank you, Soul Master! Thank you so much!" The chief's relative stepped forward, bowing in gratitude.

"Uncle, no need to be so formal. It was nothing," the Blue Silver Emperor replied, waving her hands dismissively.

As they spoke, the village chief groggily regained consciousness.

"Xiaoming, was it you who saved me? Huh? My wound is gone?"

"Village Chief Grandpa, you're awake! Are you feeling unwell anywhere?" Lin Yongming asked.

"It wasn't me. Blue Silver healed you—I don't have that kind of skill," he added, pointing to her.

"Oh! A Soul Master? Thank you for saving my life," the chief said gratefully.

"Grandpa, no need to thank me," the Blue Silver Emperor responded sweetly, her demeanor noticeably softer when speaking to elders.

"I feel great now. No need to worry about me—I feel even better than before I was bitten! Even my back pain is gone!" the chief said with a laugh.

"Chief, I'm so glad you're okay! Let's head back—it's almost dinnertime," Lin Chong suggested.

"Alright, let's go."

"You, young lady, have you eaten yet? Come to my house for dinner as thanks for saving me," the chief offered.

"Grandpa, no need. I actually came here to see Xiaoming," the Blue Silver Emperor replied.

"In that case, I won't insist," the chief said, glancing at Lin Yongming before dropping the matter.

"Blue Silver, why did you come all this way?" Lin Yongming asked once the villagers had begun walking back.

"Hmph! When I helped you get your second soul ring, you kept calling me 'A-Yin Big Sister.' But now, after just two months, you're calling me by my name?"

She didn't answer his question but instead pouted in dissatisfaction.
