As they passed through the road leading to Urto Town, Bibi Dong ordered Sub-Bishop Xia and his team to return.

After nearly four hours of travel, they finally arrived at the base of the Cangli Mountains. The road ended there, making it impossible for the carriage to continue.

"Your Highness, we've arrived. We'll have to leave the carriage here," said Deacon Koruzi, standing beside the carriage.

Along the way, through Bibi Dong's introductions, Lin Yongming learned that the two deacons in purple robes were Koruzi and Haerli.

Bibi Dong also explained that within the Spirit Hall, the rank of a purple-robed deacon was at least Soul Douluo level.

As for the elite squad, they were clad in silver-white armor and consisted of soul masters ranging in strength from Soul King to Soul Sage. Though their numbers were few, they were true elites.

However, Bibi Dong did not introduce any elders at the Title Douluo level.

The fact that such a powerful team was assigned to protect Bibi Dong showed just how much importance the Spirit Hall's Pope placed on her safety.

"Deacons, nightfall is approaching. We'll rest for an hour before entering the mountain and catch them off guard," Bibi Dong ordered.

"Understood, Your Highness!"

"Rest here and replenish your energy," the deacons instructed the group.

With that, everyone took out their rations and began eating.

"Blind kid, you left in a hurry and probably didn't bring any food, did you? Here, I'll share some with you," Bibi Dong said as she handed Lin Yongming some food and a flask of water.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Lin Yongming nodded and accepted it without hesitation.

They had been traveling non-stop since the afternoon, and it was already past eight in the evening when they arrived at the Cangli Mountains. None of them had eaten dinner yet.

This was why Bibi Dong called for a break.

Once she finished giving Lin Yongming food, she took out her own meal and ate with grace.

After about half an hour, once everyone had finished eating, Bibi Dong gathered the group.

"According to our intel, the evil soul master is most likely hiding on Cangyuan Peak, one of the secondary peaks of the Cangli Mountain Range. The terrain there is filled with cliffs and massive boulders, so they may be hiding inside a cave. Be on the lookout for cave entrances while we ascend."

"Therefore, I plan to split us into two groups and search from the north and south sides. Each deacon will lead five members," she announced.

"We await your orders, Your Highness," the group responded in unison.

"Good. Do not alert the enemy. If you find a suspicious cave, investigate carefully before taking action. If you confirm their presence, immediately report to the other team—don't act alone. If we let the target escape, there will be severe punishment," Bibi Dong warned sternly.

"Understood!"

If it weren't for the nighttime setting and the need to remain undetected, Lin Yongming figured they would have responded much louder.

"Your Highness, I'll take five members with me. You should stay with Deacon Haerli and the Soul Sage-level elite squad captain," Deacon Koruzi suggested.

"Alright, then it's settled. It's time to move. Get ready."

"Blind kid, stay close to me," Bibi Dong said to Lin Yongming.

"Got it." Since the team had already made their arrangements, Lin Yongming had no objections.

After a final round of preparations, the group split into two teams and began their ascent. They moved in complete silence, refraining even from using soul-guided lamps to avoid detection.

However, for the members of the Spirit Hall, night vision wasn't a problem.

And for Lin Yongming, there was no difference between day and night.

"The terrain is rough. Stay behind me and watch your step," Bibi Dong whispered as she glanced back at him.

"Thanks for the reminder, Your Highness, but I'll be fine," Lin Yongming replied just as quietly.

At the same time, he activated his Heart Eye ability, paying close attention to the entire mountain.

In this kind of terrain, Heart Eye was far more useful than regular vision—especially at night, where its advantages became even more apparent.

After giving Lin Yongming a brief warning, Bibi Dong said nothing more, and the entire group moved silently through the mountain.

Everyone was extremely cautious as they climbed, carefully inspecting their surroundings.

Deep within Cangyuan Peak, inside a particular cave, three figures sat in a triangular formation.

Two were dressed in black robes, while the third wore a dark red robe.

"It's been three days. That scar-faced bandit still hasn't returned. I think it's time for us to leave this place," one of them said.

"Shame. There were quite a few villages around the Cangli Mountains," another lamented.

"In the past two weeks, we've already wiped out several villages. The Spirit Hall has likely caught our scent," the third added.

"Agreed. There are plenty of villages elsewhere. It's still early—we'll leave at midnight and head to a different region," the dark-red-robed man said coldly.

"Fine. Let's wait a little longer."

After climbing for over an hour, Lin Yongming's team reached the mountainside. Along the way, they had found several caves, but none showed signs of human activity.

Bibi Dong sat on a rock, taking a sip of water while catching her breath.

"Deacon Haerli, has Deacon Koruzi's team found anything?" she asked.

"Your Highness, they haven't signaled us, so I assume they're in the same situation as us—nothing yet," Haerli replied, shaking his head.

"That's strange… We should have found something by now. If we go any higher, there won't be many caves left. Unless… they carved out a hideout at the mountain peak. But that would be exhausting, even for them. They need to descend eventually," Bibi Dong analyzed.

"Your Highness, could it be the wrong peak? The one next to us looks almost identical. Should we check over there?" Haerli suggested.

"No. It may look close, but by the time we reach it, dawn will be breaking. Let's climb a little higher first. If we still find nothing, then we'll check the other peak," Bibi Dong decided.

Just then, Lin Yongming walked over to the cliffside. Cangyuan Peak's shape was a mix of protrusions and flat surfaces, and he was now standing near a steep drop-off.

"Blind kid, that's dangerous!" Bibi Dong quickly warned.

"Shh!" Lin Yongming turned around and gestured for silence.

"You sensed something?" Bibi Dong immediately came to his side.

"I can hear faint snoring."

"Snoring? Here?"

"I found it. There's a cave on the steep side of the mountain—we overshot it," Lin Yongming confirmed after carefully sensing the surroundings.

"Are you sure?" Bibi Dong asked.

"I'm certain."

"Your Highness, I checked it myself. There is a cave over there, but it's well-hidden. A tree blocks most of the entrance from view, and at night, it's nearly impossible to spot," Haerli reported.

The entrance was narrow—only one person could pass through at a time—and due to the steep terrain, they would have to cross carefully.

"Since we've confirmed the location, signal Koruzi's team. That cave won't be easy to reach."

"Deacon Haerli, lead the first group across. I'll wait for Koruzi's team and follow after," Bibi Dong commanded.

"Understood."

With that, Haerli led the elite members, moving in single file toward the cave.

"Blind kid, bringing you along was the right decision. Your wave perception ability really saved us. Without it, we might have missed this completely," Bibi Dong praised.

"It was nothing," Lin Yongming replied with a small smile.
