Chapter 279: The Operation Begins

After Yang Potian and Qian Daoliu concluded their discussion, the Wuhun Empire began making its final preparations.

In the following days, Wuhun City remained a scene of peaceful prosperity, with ordinary citizens going about their lives undisturbed. However, for those sensitive to it, there were subtle fluctuations of powerful spirit energy everywhere—signs of high-level spirit masters gathering in secret. The operation's details were tightly guarded. The Seven Sects' members had been called under the pretense of an important meeting; the true objective would be revealed only at the last moment.

Bibi Dong's meticulous plan called for five titled Douluo to attack and contain the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan, two to storm the Heaven Dou Palace, while she personally would lead an eight-man strike team against the Clear Sky Clan.

Since Sword Douluo had recently advanced to level ninety-seven, Bibi Dong ordered Qianjun Douluo and Jiangmo Douluo, along with three elders, to suppress the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan. Their mission was not to overwhelm the clan instantly but to ensure that the clan had no chance of fighting back effectively.

For the main assault on the Clear Sky Clan, Bibi Dong would lead Golden Crocodile Douluo, Lion Douluo, Green Luan Douluo, and Lightfeather Douluo, as well as several other elders, in a concentrated effort to wipe out the clan with no survivors.

The two titled Douluo assigned to Heaven Dou Palace had a clear objective: eliminate every member of the imperial Snow family.

The Spirit Douluo and Spirit Saints would be distributed among the various attack teams, reinforcing the titled Douluo as they advanced. In this way, even the feared Zhuge Divine Crossbows would be nearly useless against such powerful forces.

The teams moved swiftly and quietly, and within three days, they arrived at the outskirts of Heaven Dou City. The Clear Sky Clan, the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan, and the Heaven Dou Palace were now all within striking distance.

Ghost Douluo, Ghost Leopard Douluo, and Flame Eagle Douluo returned with detailed reports. Empress Xue Ke was currently in the palace, the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan was fully manned, and the Clear Sky Clan's main force was within their headquarters—no titled Douluo-level experts were out of place.

Following Bibi Dong's command, the teams split into three units, each silently moving toward their assigned target.

Yang Potian accompanied Bibi Dong's team toward the Clear Sky Clan. Although he had no intention of joining the fight, traveling alongside Bibi Dong was a show of solidarity as their ally.

Each team quickly approached its objective, prepared to launch a surprise attack.

Ghost Douluo and Ghost Leopard Douluo eliminated any sentries they encountered with swift, silent efficiency. With two agile titled Douluo handling the task, none of the sentries managed to raise an alarm.

According to Bibi Dong's strategy, each unit was to lie in wait around their target locations, with sensitive attack-type Douluo neutralizing all sentries. Once the signal was given, they would launch the attack.

With everyone in position, each unit awaited the appointed time to strike.

At the perimeter of the Clear Sky Clan's territory, Bibi Dong gave the order. Golden Crocodile Douluo and his group attacked the clan's defenses, while Qianjun Douluo and Jiangmo Douluo led their team against the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan. Meanwhile, Flame Eagle Douluo and Demon Bear Douluo assaulted the palace, storming in with overwhelming force.

Bibi Dong's plans had been executed with utmost secrecy and precision; even up until the moment of attack, the targets had no idea of the imminent danger.

In the dim light, Bibi Dong turned to Yang Potian. "What do you think, Yang Potian? What are the odds of success? Do you expect any soul beasts to interfere?"

Yang Potian shook his head. "It doesn't matter if soul beasts join the fray or not. For now, the Clear Sky Clan shows no sign of beastly assistance. The key targets are Tang Hao, Tang Xiao, Ning Fengzhi, Empress Xue Ke, and Prince Xue Xing. With those five dead, the Heaven Dou Empire will be thrown into chaos, and the Clear Sky Clan's foundation will crumble. Their million-strong army will scatter like sand."

Bibi Dong looked thoughtful. "The Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan shouldn't be too difficult to handle, right? Do you think they can be entirely eradicated?"

Yang Potian shook his head. "The Seven Treasures Clan itself will likely be destroyed, but I doubt Sword Douluo, Bone Douluo, and Ning Fengzhi will go down that easily. With Sword Douluo's fierce offense and Bone Douluo's elusive techniques, the five titled Douluo you sent will probably subdue them but may not be able to eliminate them entirely."

Bibi Dong's expression turned cold. "They're just merchants, after all. Even if they survive, they'll be powerless without their clan's foundation. No matter how strong a businessman may be, without capital, they're as good as finished."
