Douluo Dalu: Lucky Star

Chapter 328: [DD]: 328: Douluo Dalu Lucky Star [END

"Senior Rong Nianbing, I must trouble you to temporarily maintain the balance of the Divine Realm."

Han Li didn't immediately explain the confusion written on Destruction's face. Instead, he turned to look at Rong Nianbing, who was standing further back.

Hearing Han Li call out to him suddenly, Rong Nianbing felt a bit unaccustomed to it. He raised his right hand and pointed to himself.

"Yes, I mean you. Just maintain it temporarily, that's all," Han Li said with a smile, showing none of the ferocity he had displayed during the earlier battle.

Rong Nianbing glanced at Destruction, then at Life, feeling rather uncomfortable with Han Li's overly familiar demeanor. After all, this was their first meeting.

"Listen to him," Destruction said after closing his eyes briefly and taking a deep breath. They were the defeated side, and Han Li's decision not to pursue further punishment against more people was already generous.

"Alright," Rong Nianbing finally agreed, and he pulled in a few of his friends to temporarily take over Destruction and Life's duties.

"Each of you, hand over a wisp of your original essence. Then this matter will be settled," Han Li said bluntly to Destruction and Life.

Though he appreciated their choices, they were still enemies in essence. His promise to spare the other divine officials didn't include these two.

A flash of anger crossed Destruction's face as he prepared to lash out, but Life gently pulled his hand, suppressing his fury.

"If you think you can use this to control me, you're dreaming," Destruction said coldly as he struck his chest with a palm, spitting out a wisp of his original essence. His face turned pale as he tossed it to Han Li, barely managing to remain standing.

At the same time, he tightened his grip on Life's hand. Like him, Life's energy rapidly weakened. For them, recovery wasn't impossible, but it would take a very long time.

"Someone like you? Just make sure you don't end up begging me for help later," Han Li said disdainfully as he took the essence, glaring at Destruction. He even went so far as to cleanse it with his destructive energy right in front of him.

"You—" Destruction's anger flared again, but Life held him back once more.

"Gu Yue, any remaining enemies?" Han Li ignored him and turned to Gu Yue.

"No need. The lifting of the rules is already the greatest reward," Gu Yue said as she glanced briefly at Destruction before looking away. Matters involving the Dragon God were difficult to pin blame on, and the rule changes were what truly mattered for the soul beast race.

"Alright, then we'll let it go," Han Li nodded, then turned to everyone. "You all head back first. I have a few things left to do. Returning will bring significant benefits for you as well."

"Oh, Xiaoxue, make sure to release Grand Uncle from the Angel Shrine too," Han Li added, recalling the fluctuation in the rules he had sensed earlier and Qian Daoliu's current unconscious state.

"What about them?" Guang Ling frowned slightly as he glanced at the Divine Realm's gods, clearly wanting to stay behind as a guard, just in case.

"Don't worry, Master. They'd better hope I succeed. If I fail, they'll be left homeless," Han Li said bluntly, not bothering to hide his mistrust, even with the gods of the Divine Realm standing right there.

"Alright, just be careful. If it proves too difficult, simply give up and let the seniors live on Douluo Planet. The lives of the others have nothing to do with us," Guang Ling said coldly, still harboring hostility toward the Divine Realm. Though these individuals hadn't been directly involved, he knew full well that the Divine Realm had targeted Han Li. Their inaction was only because of Han Li's overwhelming power.

"Got it, don't worry, Master," Han Li responded with a smile. Then he turned to glance coldly at a few gods who had shown hostility when his master spoke earlier, silently taking note of them.

Now, they were the ones begging for scraps.

Han Li waited until everyone else had entered Douluo Planet before turning back to look at Destruction and Life.

"Let's go together. We're moving the Divine Realm," he said.

Although Destruction and Life were confused, they had no choice but to fly alongside him. Using their respective divine artifacts, they assisted Han Li in pulling the Divine Realm toward the vicinity of Douluo Planet.

"Thank you, seniors, for your patience," Han Li said, glancing at Rong Nianbing and the others still maintaining the barrier. He greeted them in advance before signaling Destruction and Life to step back a little.

Under their puzzled gazes, Han Li threw the original essences he had collected from the five God-Kings toward Douluo Planet below.

Then, to their utter shock, both Han Li's body and Douluo Planet began to glow simultaneously. In the next moment, Douluo Planet vanished without a trace.

Immediately, the golden-glowing Douluo Planet seemed to shrink, appearing within Han Li's dantian. Then, following the flow of his divine power, it emerged in the palm of his hand.

No, it wasn't just Douluo Planet—Destruction and Life's pupils contracted slightly.

It was as if a new universe had formed in Han Li's hand. No, that wasn't entirely accurate—it was better to describe Douluo Planet as resembling an entire cosmos. Inside it, intense changes were taking place.

This wasn't like the planes that God-King-level beings could create. The two could feel it: both Han Li himself and the Douluo Planet in his palm had become partially detached from the current universe, even subtly devouring the real universe to grow.

Yet, strangely, the universe didn't reject their presence.

If this continued, this universe might be entirely consumed by Han Li—that was the thought that arose in both of their minds.

Suddenly, Han Li flickered and seemed to reappear in the real universe. Subconsciously, he patted his stomach.

However, the Douluo Planet in his palm didn't revert to its original state.

"You…" Destruction opened his mouth, only to realize he couldn't sense Han Li's aura anymore.

"Yep, it's just as you're thinking—I've ascended to Creator level," Han Li said with a nod.

He had considered many possibilities, but even he hadn't expected it to happen this easily. All he had done was toss a few wisps of original essence into the planet, and it was done.

Now, he only felt a sensation of being overfull. In that brief moment, all the Plane Consciousness's abilities had transferred to him—not something he needed to learn, but something that had become instinctive.

The Douluo Planet's consciousness still had its awareness, but now, anything it wanted to do to influence Douluo Plane would require his permission. Meanwhile, a continuous stream of information flooded his mind, waiting to be organized.

"I'm planning to directly absorb the Divine Realm. Any objections?" Han Li turned to Destruction and Life, asking for their opinions symbolically.

"N-no…" Destruction had barely begun speaking when Han Li extended his hand toward the Divine Realm. As soon as he touched it, the Divine Realm began transforming into an illusory state and shrinking rapidly.

It was clear that Han Li was just being polite—he had no intention of listening to them. Destruction wisely shut his mouth.

Han Li paid no attention to their reactions and moved the Divine Realm closer to his hand. After thinking for a moment, he chose a location on the vastly expanded Douluo Planet, on the side opposite Spirit Hall, and generated a new continent. Then, he placed the Divine Realm on top of it.

Throughout this process, Rong Nianbing and the others maintaining the barrier barely noticed anything. The only thing that felt slightly off was the sudden drop in energy levels.

This was inevitable. The moment Han Li integrated the Divine Realm, all its energy dispersed throughout the planet. It was no surprise that the energy level had dropped.

But because of this, the immortality-granting celestial aura was now diluted. If anyone wanted immortality in the future, they'd have to work hard to cultivate.

With the Divine Realm now integrated, Douluo Planet was no longer just a planet. It had become the evolutionary beginning of a brand-new universe, one fundamentally different from the Divine Realm's previous trajectory. Even Han Li wasn't sure where it would go in the future—but wasn't that interesting?

Of course, once it consumed the rest of this universe, a clearer shape of what it would become might emerge.

For now? Han Li had just won his battle. A little rest shouldn't be a problem, right?

Besides, his mind was still flooded with new things to process. He had to take it one step at a time.

With a wave of his hand, Han Li returned Douluo Planet to its original position. However, compared to before, it had grown more than tenfold, and it continued to rotate slowly, absorbing energy from its surroundings. To the casual observer, it looked unchanged—but to Destruction and Life, it felt entirely different.

They both knew this was no longer just a planet—it was an independent universe, far superior to the Divine Realm.

The most frustrating part? Despite knowing the planet had just consumed the Divine Realm they had guarded for countless millennia, they couldn't help but feel a strange fondness for it.

This contradiction left them feeling awkward and conflicted.

"Hey, don't overthink it. From now on, we're all one big family. You two better protect it well," Han Li said, smirking.

"Come on, let's go in and take a look."

With a self-assured grin, Han Li grabbed the two of them and flew into the planet.

He wasn't being charitable, of course. The reason he hadn't severed their connection to their original essence was to bind them to himself.

Now, they were like the obedient son—high-ranking employees, the kind that didn't need to be paid and couldn't betray him. Wasn't that the perfect business model?

In the end, it was as if nothing had ever happened. Right?

Just seconds after the three entered the planet, a streak of blue light shot through the universe. It paused behind an asteroid, observing the now-massively enlarged planet.

But when it attempted to enter the planet, things didn't go as expected. Instead of successfully entering, it passed straight through, as though the planet were a mere phantom.

The figure turned around, bewildered. The face revealed itself—it was none other than Poseidon, the former Sea God who had long since slipped away.

"Hey, wait for me! I haven't gone in yet!"

After trying several more times to no avail, Poseidon hovered in place, letting out a desperate shout that echoed through the void.

...

Seven days later, at the former Pope's Palace in Spirit Hall.

The former high-ranking members of Spirit Hall, along with numerous gods and soul beasts, poured out of the hall, chatting loudly and looking unusually excited.

Inside the hall, Han Li sighed, glancing at the group of women still bickering nearby. Slumping into his seat, he let out another long sigh.

The merging of various factions and the planning for future development wasn't nearly as easy as he had imagined. Judging by the current pace, it would take at least half a year to straighten everything out.

He never expected that after finishing the battle, he'd end up worrying about farming instead—it was like switching to an entirely different game.

Fortunately, once the major directions were finalized, things would get easier for him.

Suddenly, a pair of hands appeared on his forehead, gently massaging him.

"Xiao Li, there's no need to rush. You've got plenty of time to take things slow."

"Yeah, I know, Sister Xiu'er."

"Oh, by the way, Xiao Xue'er asked me to remind you that you still owe her a favor."

"Why doesn't she tell me herself?"

"She said you wouldn't agree. All she wants is for Miss Gu Yue to… uh, stay far, far away."

"Ask her if she can change her request…"

The two chatted casually, and at some point, Han Li drifted off to sleep.

...

In his dream, Han Li found himself back at the barbecue stand where he and his best friend used to hang out before his sudden death.

"Tsk, a Creator God, huh? Pretty impressive, bro!"

His cheeky friend grinned smugly, raising a skewer to clink it against Han Li's.

Han Li blinked, looking around. He was still holding a meat skewer in his hand, its aroma tantalizingly familiar.

He took a big bite, savoring the taste.

Yes, this was it—the perfect balance of flavor and technique. No way anyone in the Douluo Universe could make something this good.

After finishing the battle and returning to Douluo Planet, Han Li spent an entire day digesting the flood of information in his mind. Yet, even after all that, he hadn't uncovered the reason for his reincarnation.

And now, here in his dream, his best friend appeared.

That's right—it was a dream. While the flavor was authentic, Han Li wasn't the ordinary person he used to be. Apart from the skewer, everything else was fake.

"You sneaky bastard, spill it—what's going on?"

Han Li scarfed down the meat in a few more bites and lunged at his friend, pinning him down.

Honestly, even if he had the option to return to his old life, he probably wouldn't take it—but he still had questions to ask.

"Whoa, whoa, I can't tell you yet!" his friend protested. "All I can say is, once you've fully built the framework of your world, someone will come to assess it. When the time comes, there'll be rewards..."

"Hey, hey! Stop biting me, you savage!"

...

"Damn it!"

Han Li woke up in his seat with a start, letting out a curse. Looking around, he saw the concerned faces of the women in the hall.

"It's nothing, just a nightmare. Been a bit too tired these past few days," he said with a sheepish laugh.

"Oh, right—almost forgot. We're going to Brother Tao's place for dinner tonight. His wife's pregnant, so let's go and offer our congratulations."

Standing up, Han Li called everyone to follow him outside.

In his dream, despite interrogating his best friend, he hadn't managed to get any real answers. The guy had escaped in the end, leaving only a vague ten-year deadline, promising Han Li would know everything by then.

But it didn't matter. Han Li wasn't concerned about rewards. He was already satisfied with his current life.

Even at his worst, he was still the master of a small universe—what more was there to complain about?

Yep, that's right.

Tomorrow, he'd put Destruction and Life to work. They were God-Kings, after all—if they weren't needed for meetings, they could go explore the universe.

As for that pesky Poseidon knocking at the planetary gates? He'd let him in too—under the condition of signing a millennium-long unpaid labor contract.

Thinking these thoughts, Han Li stepped into Brother Tao's home, his usual smile on his face.
