Douluo Dalu: Lucky Star

Chapter 326: [DD]: 326

"Well, you all seem even weaker than I expected!"

Han Li's voice rang out, startling the remaining conscious gods.

To clarify, the only ones still conscious were either god officials stationed far from the explosion or at least second-tier gods. Most of them now stared at Han Li with a mix of fear and disbelief.

No one truly wants to die—especially not gods who have enjoyed eternal life. After all, those who had just been obliterated were their fellow deities, beings of the same divine status. And yet, right before their eyes, Han Li had erased them in a manner that none of them could even comprehend. It was no wonder they felt shaken to the core.

A few of the gods, however, gazed at Han Li with complex expressions. These were the ones who had chosen to pass down their godly legacies. Thanks to Han Li's warning, they had emerged completely unscathed.

In truth, the damage among the god officials wasn't severe. Apart from a few unlucky individuals, most hadn't even been close enough to the explosion to be harmed. With the protection provided by the Gods of Destruction and Life, they had only suffered physical injuries—wounds that could heal with time.

For them, the real danger was the absence of the barrier. Without divine protection, their survival was now a matter of certainty—they would die.

"Destruction, how about we make a deal?"

Ignoring the three Divine Kings nearby, Han Li directed his words at the God of Destruction, who was still shielding the god officials.

"Speak," Destruction replied in a hoarse voice, not even turning around. Maintaining his current state was taking a significant toll on him.

He had already expended a great deal of energy in battle. If it weren't for being in the Divine Realm and his and Life's quick reactions to seal some of their power, he might have collapsed by now.

"I won't attack the Divine Realm. I'll only target those three," Han Li said, his tone light. "And afterward, I can help you consolidate everyone in the Divine Realm under your protection. You and Life stand on my side—what do you say? You should know I have principles. At the very least, I don't toy with others' lives like they do."

"And you don't even need to intervene—just maintain the current situation. How's that for a deal?"

Han Li's voice, laced with a smile, spread across the Divine Realm, tearing apart the façade of the three Divine Kings.

What had happened earlier was so sudden that most people didn't even understand what had occurred. Han Li couldn't bear to let others remain in the dark—especially since he wasn't lying.

The atmosphere turned strange.

As an enemy of the Divine Realm, Han Li had just attempted to turn the God of Destruction, one of the five Divine Kings, against the others. The most startling part? Aside from the three directly implicated, no one seemed to think it unreasonable. Many of them, deep down, even hoped Destruction would accept the deal.

After all, most of them still didn't know why this battle had started. All they had seen were their comrades' senseless deaths and the weakness of their Divine Kings.

"Destruction!"

It was Asura who suddenly spoke, his instincts screaming at him that if Han Li was allowed to continue, he wouldn't survive the day.

"Fine. Life and I agree, but I cannot speak for the others," Destruction said.

Asura's words seemed to have provoked him, prompting his immediate response to Han Li's offer.

After speaking, he fell silent again, focusing on maintaining the shield. He continued protecting the god officials and minimizing the loss of energy without so much as a glance at Asura or the other Divine Kings. Nor did he issue any further orders to the remaining gods.

As his words settled, the seven Gods of Sin promptly moved to stand by Destruction and Life's side, sharing their burden. As their subordinates, this was expected of them.

Several elemental gods who had been standing near Rong Nianbing also exchanged glances and joined the effort. Even the gods who had chosen to pass down their legacies followed suit.

A small number of remaining gods hesitated for a long time before silently turning and retreating to their domains, choosing to withdraw from the conflict entirely.

The three Divine Kings received no reinforcements.

Well, that wasn't entirely true. The gods who had initially rushed to support them were already dead from the explosion. Even among the retreating gods, there were likely some who supported the Divine Kings—but after what had just happened, they wouldn't dare step forward.

After all, their lives were their own, and a confrontation involving the betrayal of Divine Kings was far too dangerous to get involved in.

Outside the Divine Realm, Asura's expression was as dark as the void, while Evil and Kindness remained silent.

"Xiao Li."

From the direction of Douluo Star, several divine senses reached out to Han Li. Moments later, several streaks of light descended almost simultaneously at his side.

Qian Renxue, Xiu'er, Dugu Yan, Shui Bing'er, Ye Lingling, Zhu Zhuqing, and his master, Guang Ling—all seven appeared beside him.

Guang Ling glanced around, then suddenly felt a bit out of place. But instead of feeling awkward, he winked at his disciple with a grin.

The commotion earlier had been far too intense. Although it hadn't carried any energy fluctuations, the blinding white light was impossible to ignore.

The group exchanged no words, yet they had acted in unison. They had entered the void from Douluo Star and persuaded three elders to stay behind to guard their home. After all, someone had to defend their base.

Technically speaking, their appearance here went against the plan Han Li had originally laid out.

But as Han Li glanced at the people beside him and then at the three solitary Divine Kings opposite them, he couldn't help but smile.

This unexpected development, unaccounted for in his calculations, carried an almost theatrical level of irony, brimming with mockery.

"Well, since you're here, let's do this together. But only long-range attacks! Also, Gu Yue, keep an eye on them," Han Li said casually.

As he greeted them, a golden arrow shot from his hand, and without missing a beat, he charged directly at Asura. In his hands, the Bow Fate had, at some point, been swapped for Yin-Yang Blade.

There was something undeniably satisfying about close combat, especially when dealing with an opponent like Asura. At their level, where rules and laws of power couldn't create an overwhelming advantage, close-quarters combat, imbued with the power of rules, once again became the fastest and most effective method of battle.

Han Li's melee skills, honed to perfection in the City of Slaughter, couldn't have been more fitting for sending his opponent on their way.

As Asura's jaw tightened to the point of nearly breaking, Han Li severed the fate chains that linked him to Evil and Kindness. What followed was a clear statement of intent—Han Li was going to crush Asura head-on with sheer strength, then take his head.

After Asura managed to completely deflect the golden arrow, Han Li's blade was already swinging down at him.

There was a flash of sparks but no sound. The cracks on Asura's Demonic Sword deepened slightly as he barely withstood Han Li's first attack.

"Not bad!" Han Li smirked, floating in the air as he gazed at Asura below. "It seems the former God of Judgment still has some foundations left. You haven't completely forgotten your skills. But that was just the first strike—there are 80 more. Let's see if you can take them all."

Han Li grinned wickedly like a villain, his wings fluttering behind him. With the support of space and wind laws, his figure seemed to flicker, reappearing in an instant.

The dual blades of Yin-Yang in his hands, already infused with the laws of ice, fire, Asura, and Rakshasa, now also carried the power of destruction and earth. Utilizing spatial laws, Han Li minimized energy loss while maintaining full force. And when it came to energy? Han Li had it in abundance—something Asura sorely lacked.

With another heavy strike, Asura couldn't maintain his altitude, plummeting further downward. The cracks on his Demonic Sword widened again.

"You like spying on people, huh? Watching me for over a decade? Let me give you a show, then!"

Using the force of Asura's counterattack, he flickered again, appearing beneath him, slashing upward with yet another strike.

Mastery of spatial power was inherently unreasonable—especially when the opponent lacked the energy to interfere with its effects.

Asura spat a mouthful of blood but gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the Demonic Sword.

At no point in his life had Asura regretted his choices more than now. Why hadn't he mastered spatial power? Why had he thought the power of Asura law alone would suffice? Why hadn't he dealt with Han Li earlier—even if it meant destroying the Douluo Plane in the process?

But the world didn't care about "what ifs."

Seeing Asura's worsening state only fueled Han Li further. He unleashed his divine power recklessly, leaving Asura no room to counterattack. Spatial power continued to restrict and interfere with Asura's movements without pause, while the alternating laws of Asura, Destruction, and Rakshasa assaulted him unpredictably. This forced Asura into constant defensive adaptation, invading his very essence at every opportunity.

Han Li's unrelenting assault continued with the precision of his chaotic hammer technique—a method he had adapted for his use. Each strike landed on the Demonic Sword, deepening its cracks, and further destabilizing its structure.

Killing the man, shattering his sword, stripping his title—Han Li wanted it all. For years, Asura had monitored him, forcing him to live cautiously, burdened with anguish. He wasn't one to forgive and forget. Retribution was inevitable.

After 80 relentless strikes, Asura had coughed up enough blood to fill a basin. Han Li's 81st blow finally arrived.

This time, Han Li activated his divine body. Under his control, the Yin-Yang dual blades fused into the form of the Clear Sky Hammer.

In the stunned silence of all onlookers, Han Li's figure expanded to a size larger than a planet. Wielding the massive hammer in both hands, the weapon radiated an overwhelming concentration of Asura's power, its surface glimmering with the light of the Deathgod's Domain.

The hammer descended toward the minuscule figure of Asura below, who was no bigger than a fingernail in comparison.

In the vastness of space, Han Li's voice echoed with a phrase the others didn't understand:

"Here comes Hammer eighty!"

But below, Asura had been waiting for this moment.

In silence, he forcefully ignited his Asura bloodline and activated the Asura Blood Sword, pouring every ounce of divine power he had left into his Demonic Sword.

This was his ultimate strike. His last stand.
